The food does not live up to the hype. The beer garden is beautiful and the service is great. The food, though, was okay at best. I had the falafel burger, which was dry and bland. My husband had a regular burger, which he said was okay. Sweet potato fries were also blah.

The Pharmacy is one of my go to spots when I’m over in East Nashville. I can’t tell you how much I love the atmosphere that they’ve built here. I definitely recommend visiting this place during the warmer months so you can sit outside and enjoy one of their juicy burgers in the back garden. I always order their Farm Burger because I believe that a fried egg and bacon belong on top of a burger. However, the last time I visited, I was feeling a bit adventurous and got the Mission Burger. Holy smokes! Who knew black beans and guacamole would taste so good as toppings? Shout out to the cook that put my meal together. You nailed it. And much love to my servers and hostess because you guys were so caring and attentive despite how busy it was.

Omg! My first time here and I fell in love with the atmosphere here. It totally delivers on what you think it’s going to be and more. The beer was good, food was even better and the vibe was mind blowing on a good-weather day! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Service was great, staff was good and I love the garden setting. I was able to find street parking close by. Highly recommend!

My wife and I decided to check out The Pharmacy for lunch yesterday, OMG! Their food is AMAZING!! My wife got the White Oak BBQ Burger, she said it was probably the best BBQ sauce she's ever had. I had the Stroganoff Burger, and the combo of creamy mushroom sauce, sour cream and caramelized onions was simply PERFECT! The hand-cut fries were also incredible! The staff and overall vibe was great as well. Our new favorite Nashville burger spot!!

Atmosphere, staff are super friendly. Great outdoor settings. Burgers delicious but my only “picky me” was I think the burger meat was a frozen patty a little over cooked. The ingredients and everything else made it amazing still. Beer 🍺 tasty as well and fresh.

We stopped here after picking up a family member at the airport. We sat on the beer garden patio. The menu was very interesting. We all ordered burgers, and one person ordered the bratwurst. The tots as a side were delicious. The food was prepared well and came out fresh and hot. The phosphates and sodas on the menu looked fun I enjoyed the cream soda phosphate, it did not disappoint. Would love to come back on a return trip.

Very good burgers and equally great service. The food arrived 5 minutes after ordering. They were not busy. For arrived out and amazing! The staff was very accommodating and very kind. Customer service was rare meaning you don't normally get great service anymore. They know what servicing a customer is all about. Thank you

Came here at 4:30pm on a Monday for a drink in what they claim is a beer garden. There are 20+ tables, and only three were taken. We sat down and were immediately reprimanded by two employees who said we couldn't sit at tables if we ordered drinks at the bar. We were instead subjected to the deep corner of the so-called beer garden where they keep their dirty and broken furniture. We were told if we ordered drinks from the table it wouldn't have been a problem, but apparently if you order at the bar (like the host told us to do) you are trash. A beer garden is supposed to be an informal place to drink beer outside. What they have is a restaurant with outdoor seating, but they don't market it as such. We were literally treated like second-class citizens. You know the best part? We were going to order food and a few more drinks but left after the one drink. Was it really worth it? Also, bearing in mind they were completely empty at 4:30 on a Monday, I promise they weren't going to get busy. Not at any time that day. So what harm were we causing? None. The table sat empty the entire time we were there, as did the other 17+ tables. Really appalling service. Don't go here if you want to be treated with respect. They'll take your money and kick you in the face. Also, they claim to have creative burgers. There's nothing creative on the menu. Spend your money someplace else.

Had a REALLY good burger. And tots were seasoned and salted to culinary perfection. Good IPA selection. Service was acceptable as well they seemed to be doing a good job of serving tables quickly. Wife approved of her vegan burger too! Was probably the best food we ate on our trip, but we did need to stop by the hospital later that night to deliver the food baby

Was easy to find parking on the street. Had the choice to dine inside or outside. All burgers come with a side and loved the tator tots & sweet potato fries. The coleslaw was average. The German potato salad came out warm, so kind of different from the potato salads I'm used to. The potato salad was also very "watery". I'd choose tots or fries over the other sides next time. Jam Band Mushroom Swiss Burger ($12): nothing too special, don't taste the jam and not much mushrooms White Oak BBQ Burger ($12): the BBQ sauce is SWEET, I'd prefer mine with a bit more tang to balance out the meatiness Farm Burger ($13): My favorite, I thought it just came with ham & bacon, but it's actually a beef patty with ham, bacon, and egg. Strawberry Ginger ($3.5): gingery and SO SWEET was all that I could remember, wouldn't get again

This place is truly a gem! We were all amazed at how good it is! It was the best black bean burger I’ve ever had! I tried a bite of my husbands regular burger, which was delicious too! They had a cool back patio area with tables and chairs/benches and good vibes! Great service and unique sodas too. I had the raspberry ginger, which I loved. Highly highly recommend!

For a restaurant that was not at all what I was expecting, The Pharmacy Burger Parlor and Beer Garden did not disappoint! The burgers are big and delicious, and they come with a generous serving of a side item. Lots of old time soda fountain drinks, root beer, and beers on tap. Located in trendy East Nashville, it still has a "hole in the wall" feel, like you just stumbled upon a great little out-of-the-way place. Service was FAST and friendly, and despite the cool vibe, everyone was hospitable and maintained that Southern charm you expect in the great state of TN. We had a great dining experience (even if a little cold in January), and as a pharmacist, I thoroughly enjoyed the nod to my profession's history. I even bought a t-shirt!

I had a great experience today. We were greeted pleasantly by two young ladies who asked our seating preference. We enjoyed a meal at the bar with Joe our bartender/server. He recommended the Smash Burger and my friend had the Pharmacy Burger. I didn’t know that my burger was going to have a lot of kick aka heat to it, however it was very tasty. Joe recommended the Bourbon Lemonade which I think went along great with our meal. Everyone we encountered was really awesome today and I give The Pharmacy my highest recommendation!

Loved the service, but was underwhelmed with the burgers. Sat outside in beautiful weather and was always served promptly. The burgers are made medium well and even when we ordered medium rare was no pink in the center. Better for the vibes than food. Tater tots were good. Women's bathroom could use better lighting, but was clean and had solid locks in the stalls.

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Great, comfortable interior with inside and outdoor seating. Have optional plant based and black bean patty to choose. Lots of side add-on's and sauce options. Sweet potato fries, tots, hand-cut fries, german potato salad, and more. Phosphate sodas, shakes, and malts. Flavorful food. I will return.

The outdoor area is really cool. It can be a long wait on the weekends but if you like burgers and beer it's worth it. The ingredients were fresh and fries are delicious. They have lots of fun sauces to try on your burger. A couple of things to know... I wish they had big pieces of lettuce for a no bun option on a burger. They only have shredded lettuce. The beef patties aren't very big either for the price. The music was very loud and hard to have group conversations inside. But overall it's a hip and cool atmosphere.

During a recent visit to Nashville, we found this hidden gem in East Nashville through Google reviews. Please let me steer you this way too. A quick Uber ride from the Omni on a Wednesday night got us there and promptly seated in the Biergarten. Service was top notch, the burgers amazing, holy cow the fries were plentiful and tasty. I enjoyed the various beer selections and my son enjoyed the phosphates. Don’t think twice, just go!

My wife had the mission burger, I had the BBQ burger. For hers she says "was amazing! I'm going to dream of coming here to have that burger!" While I do not share that enthusiasm for my burger, it was definitely good and so were the tater tots. The cocktails were good and a decent size for the price point they are at.

When we planned our visit to Nashville, one burger joint that kept coming up as a "must visit" was "The Pharmacy". Long story short, it does not disappoint. This location seems like it's an odd spot, but inside (especially the backyard) is great. When we came in after a tired and weary day, we chose the inside just to be quick. Then we glanced outside and asked our server, Georgianna, moved us outside. The burgers and Octoberfest beer really hit the spot for a late October afternoon, and Georgianna really went above and beyond to take care of us outside, and not in her usual "zone". Overall the service, food and atmosphere are great, and this is one of those classic Nashville spots you need to add to your "can't miss" list.

The establishment is fabulous!! It has a great atmosphere and wonderful service! And the food is out of this world! Oh! and the dark lager is superb! Two thumbs up!

The food was amazing and so were the drinks. We had decent servers they were kinda packed but one server was so nervous and shaken up he had to get another one to wait on us, he was young though looked new. But overall a great visit during my time in Nashville.

This is a really fun place. Styled after a soda shop, the bar wraps around. Very unique burgers with tons of options. The peanut butter and chocolate whiskey milkshake alone is worth going. They also have the best fries!

The best burger I've had in Nashville. Every plate comes LOADED with fries! (Sweet potato fries are great too!) The soda is artisanally crafted! Highly recommend the root beer! The ranch dressing dressing is delicious and made in-house! Extensive and delicious cocktail and draft list. Cocktails are sinfully well-mixed and the beer selection is excellent! Can't wait to go back! 🍟🥤🍔🍹

Loved the atmosphere! Our waitress Shawna was patient and attentive! The burgers and sides were tasty! Loved the fact that littles ones aren't frowned on!

Beautiful Patio that is perfect for nearly any day that's nice out. Combine that with a amazing burgers (that bread though) and a nice local beer list and it's perfect for lunch, dinner, anything that has delicious food involved.

Came in with high expectations. The beer selection was great but burgers left us wanting more. They were good but very tiny. Nice outdoor space as well, but not overly impressed overall.
