Nashville is blessed to have this beautiful park in the middle of the city. There’s enough parking to support an entire music fest. The trees 🌲 mostly cover the walking track so you can walk even before sunset. Sometimes you can find ice cream trucks or food trucks there. They also occasionally have fairs or festivals here. A couple of musicians practice there occasionally, and I love the presence of music around. I have also found some artists paint under the tree. Overall, it’s a very uplifting atmosphere.

1/24/22 $10 admission to go through the museum. Very Informative, long, fascinating, and interesting. I thought it was worth the price per person. The building was beautiful to see up close. Many photographers were there. I definitely would like to revisit in the summer for pictures and for a nice picnic.

I really enjoy this park as I always come here when visiting Nashville! It’s pretty safe to walk around and enjoy the scenery! Not too far from Vanderbilt which you can see their football stadium from afar! I highly recommend visiting to enjoy a good outing even if it snows like I did when I visited!

I've been coming to this park since I was a little girl and my grandmother and I would walk over from her home on Blair Blvd with bread to feed the ducks and play on the playground. It's really such a pretty and relaxing spot right in the city, and 40 years later I still enjoy coming and walking around or setting up my Eno and chilling here. Beautiful flower garden during the warm season, great place to catch a concert or play when they are happening. Fun spot to bring your dog, a picnic, an instrument or toy. Wonderful park for locals and tourists alike.

I absolutely loved visiting this beautiful and free park! Even on hot days, there are plenty of shady spots to find respite. The highlight for me was the serene lake, teeming with lively fish and adorable ducks. An enchanting island in the middle of the lake even hosts buzzing bee hives, adding a touch of nature's wonder. It was heartwarming to see families, kids, and people with pets, all enjoying this inclusive outdoor space. With something for everyone, this park truly caters to all ages and interests. Whether you seek tranquility, a fun day out with loved ones, or simply want to commune with nature, this park is an absolute gem. Make sure to visit the flower garden!

A nice park and museum. Perfect spot for a sunny day walk or picnic. There was a food truck there the day we visited. The grounds are well kept, although the pond could be a bit cleaner with the trash, leaves, and branches removed.

Beautiful park with parking for everyone. Wow paths and green spaces for everyone to do their own thing. Soccer fields, volleyball courts, an inexpensive museum ($10). 60 plus paintings surrounded by a museum full of traveling art work. Informative and clean. The tough thing is Nashville has a pretty big homeless population and they use the park and the museum as a toilet. Stinky and dirty. Beautiful pond with tons of turtles, blue gill, birds etc. Lots of icky pond scum because the fountains are plugged with garbage and people don’t read the signs to not throw bread to the animals.

Absolutely beautiful scenery. I chose this as the spot to propose to my girlfriend tonight. It's kinda a trek to get up the "mountain", but the view of the of the city is gorgeous. A previous comment I read mentioned something about trimming back some of the trees. I couldn't agree more. A simple topping of some of the larger trees would be amazing.

Beautiful place for a picnic or to relax. Pond with wildlife, beautiful flowers and plenty of shade. My son and I played some catch and went to the Tailor Swift bench. Enjoyable time with family

Very nice large open green space with the Parthenon as the center of attention. Tours available for $10 or you can visit the gift shop for free. Many other mini attractions within the park to visit at no charge. Check out a free map of the park on Google for more info. Lots of beautiful statues and walking spaces. A nice dog park just across the street (they still call it within Centennial Park, but drove myself nuts looking for it). Lots of shade. Awesome place to walk, read or jog or tour for the day! Also a stop on the Hop On, Hop Off Trolley Tour!

Great place to take a stroll and gaze at the many historic monuments, landscape, pound and ducks, and view of The Parthenon. And, of course see and sit on the 'Taylor Swift bench'! Dog and family friendly! Only negative is that the dog park is across the street and not easy to find or navigate over to, and the park in general can be a little crowded but not too bad to damper your time. Recommend going on a sunny day! Parking is somewhat difficult and you'll likely have to hop the small curb as most others do to park your vehicle.

Always a great experience wandering around soaking up the sights. I wish I could have caught one of the concerts by candlelight, but definitely will next time around. The lake and scenery are gorgeous, and the Parthenon is of course, just incredible! I got to relax on a bench by one of the statues in the sun and enjoyed the afternoon, relaxing.

We did not spend a lot of time in the park, maybe one hour total. From what we could see it was clean, well maintained, nice balance between history, art and nature. It was definitely enjoyable.

I've never seen a play place for children here,( Edit: there is a park right across the street from the Parthenon. It is clean, inviting and has shaded areas.) but this is a beautiful and serene green space! 😍 The combination of tulips, Japanese cherry blossoms, daffodils and other flowers is soo beautiful. A perfect place to walk, jog, read a book, take pictures for a special occasion, write poetry or to just pleasantly share space. You simply must visit.

It’s cool but probably one of those things you see once and you’ve seen all of it. The art work was cool but nothing too awe inspiring. The Athena statue was probably the coolest part! Just wish the information panels were printed with a bit larger text because it was hard to read with so many people standing in front of them.

I've been visiting family in the Nashville area for over 5 years and have never stopped here before - WELL worth the stop! Centennial Park surrounding the Parthenon is completely free with a beautiful 1 mile walking loop around a large lake. Lots of life in and around the lake including ducks, geese, fish, squirrels, and even beekeeping boxes on the island in the middle of the lake. You can even purchase honey in the gift shop that comes from the Centennial Park bees! We purposely came in late afternoon to be able to catch the sun setting behind the Parthenon - beautifully mirrored in the lake! Highly recommend!

We stopped to stretch our legs as we were driving across the country. Wowzer! Such a nice park.. Loved all the historic displays. The flowers and reflecting ponds were eye popping! So nice.

Nice urban park. Came on a Saturday and the place was absolutely mobbed and parking was a bit insane. Other than that though, a nice spot for a comfortable walk. Felt safe and enjoyable to spend some time in.

This park is the continuation of the very beautiful Parthenon, very well cared for. A great place to walk, talk, take beautiful photos, see animals and even ride a swing. I would like to see the detail of a photo that can be taken with the background of the tower of the University of Knoxville.

It's okay. Flat, has a lake (looks man made but might not be) and has lots of cement pathways. About the best part of the park are all the statues and history, and of course the Parthenon. It's worth a walk-around if you are waiting on the Parthenon to open, but is otherwise not so interesting. Perfect place to host events due to the wide open flat grass areas.

Beautiful lake, walking paths, and monuments located outside of The Parthenon. There is plenty of parking, which I believe is free. A great place to slow down and just enjoy nature!

The Parthenon and surrounding gardens are beautiful landmarks to enjoy in Nashville! Fragrant flowers abound and paths meander peacefully around a lake where you can find turtles slipping in and out of the water. Viewing the statue of Athena inside the monument will take your breath away, and the educational tour regarding the construction of it will fascinate you!

This park will amaze you. Who would have thought there would be (looks like a full scale) Parthenon in the middle of Nashville? There was a live music act going on nearby and a free concert in the park which is fitting for Music City. I felt safe and enjoyed the beautiful lake too. Finally like many towns in the South, I found a statue honoring the Confederate States of America Soldiers who passed. Even though that is foreign to me, I am trying hard to understand their history and how personal it is to them. I'd recommend this park 100%.

Centennial Park offers a beautiful lush environment in close proximity to the downtown area of Nashville. I decided to work from my laptop while enjoying a hot dog and a calming lake view. Parking was plentiful when I visited which only made the experience better. All in all a great way to spend leisure time and enjoy a breath of fresh air. Having the Parthenon as a backdrop only makes it better!

A great park with jogging trails, detailed history, an art museum and the last standing structure from the World's Fair hosted by Nashville. It's a great place to kill time, relax, exercise, write or just get out of the house. There are plenty of trees on peaceful trails you can use for a hammock or to let the kids climb. My favorite park in Nashville by a long shot.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Centennial Park, particularly at Lake Watauga. Feeding the ducks and geese by the serene waters was an absolute delight. The park's beauty is unparalleled, and the opportunity to connect with nature in the heart of the city is a true gem. The well-maintained paths, vibrant flowers, and the shimmering Lake Watauga all contribute to its charm. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely picnic, a family outing, yoga, or simply a peaceful day of relaxation. I give it five stars without hesitation!

Large, beautiful park with paved paths for walking/running and open green areas for sports, games, picnics, or just relaxing. Has an impactful monument dedicated to women's suffrage, as well as a full scale reproduction of the Parthenon. Inside, the goddess Athena is heralded. Has an open ampitheator for events like concerts on beautiful nights. Close walking distance to many good dining choices and across the street from the Marriott at Vanderbilt University (their in-hotel restaurant and bar is EXCELLENT, btw). Closes at sunset. Perfect for families and romantic for couples, and most importantly, dog friendly!!! Psst... Excellent photo ops too.

Pretty decent park, though there's a lot of people during the day and weekends. But if you're alone at night and need somewhere to ponder, I highly suggest coming here if you can. Also, there is a huge statue inside the Parthenon, but there's already a gazillion photos of it already that I don't feel inclined to show any photos. Though during at night it does look quite pretty..

This was an unexpected surprise for our visit. The park is free, but if you would like to tour the interior you do have to pay. We enjoyed looking at the different museum prices and the history of the structure. The park is very large lots of room to play ball, have a picnic, or just walk around.

Very nice park, great views! Also, there was some kind of local festival going on and we experienced live music on open air in Nashville. People were calm and enjoying it. We loved to be there!

I only showed up for the Parthenon and didn't get to explore the park as much as I wanted. Hey if that building is at least a 1 for 1 replica then I'd sure like to visit the real Parthenon some day. Wish it was open earlier than it is, would have loved to walk around inside and view what it contained. Also I guess next time I'll spread the love and check out the whole park.

Man! This place was rad. Lots of Greek looking stuff. Big ole columns man! If you’re into architecture and things of yesteryear, this is your place. Great free parking! $10 admissions for adults $4 for youth and seniors FREE for kids (4 and under) Definitely go walk down the path by Lake Watauga, there’s some cool little ducks! (Saw some little bumblebees too 10/10)

Nice large park you can get out to stretch your legs. There is a lake on one end and a large green field on the other, and a replica of the Parthenon in the middle. You can go inside if you like, or stay outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Expansive public park, which is an appropriate setting for the Parthenon replica. Impressive monument to the suffrage movement. Interesting seating elements in cast concrete. Wonderful open spaces for public use. Noted a nice performance shell as we were leaving the park proper.

Very nice park in a great location. Plenty of room to move about. Nice lake with ducks. Nice area to walk. Nice playground. Then of course the centerpiece of Centennial Park is the Parthenon. The park is free to visit. The Parthenon costs $10 to enter. Inside is an art museum and the crown jewel is a 40ft tall, gold laden, statue of Athena. We would recommend a visit.

A beautiful park in Nashville Tennessee! It's so peaceful! On any given day there could be an event taking place, with is most often family fun! Art and craft, and fun activities for children there's also events for adults as well! πŸ™‚ there is a playground and a lake with ducks! It's a great place to exercise, walking and jogging, biking! Due to the huge landscape! There are people who will use the motorized scooters around there so be mindful of them! Although the is free there is a museum called Parthenon that is open but there is admission fee! Check Centennial calendar for special events! It's a great place to visit if your ever in Nashville Tennessee πŸ˜€ 😊
