Extremely cheap and absolutely delicious food! Likely one of the BEST spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had! I was shocked at the cost of the food for the amount and how good it was. Maybe fastfood, but was most definitely fresh and delicious! They stay open till 5am, which is perfect after the 3am bar closing!!

To be honest this is place I disliked the most during my trip to Nashville. The food was not that great for a cookout. Definitely not one from my point of view. The staff wasn't friendly at all, impatient and really not I didn't feel like coming back there twice.

Cook Out, You are officially my new favorite fast food restaurant. We would love a location in Missouri. Fresh food both times I visited different locations. Sides were fresh and I tried the banana pudding shake and the strawberry shake with desirable tastebud results. #winning

Usually the only placed open late pizza and usual fast food joints but even they are not open till 5am. The Cook Out is a great option that offers a menu with Nashville specialties like BBQ beef, burgers, hush puppies thick shakes and more. The staff also is genuine and provide far better service. So pass on Wendy's and McDonalds and the likes to enjoy good food reasonably priced

It's cookout, what is more to say! Great food, quick service, budget friendly! Anytime I am working my route in Nashville and need to be in and out with my food so I can keep working, I always go here. Their food is amazing and is given in a timely manner. It's also very budget friendly. I typically get the big tray with a double burger, hush puppies, fried white cheddar bites with a large half/half sweet tea and lemonade. All for around $11

I came by here with my friends the other day. I got some fries (which are vegan if you're not afraid of cross contamination), and they were very tasty. As a vegan who often gets to experience only fries, these definitely met my expectations. Super crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Would buy again:)

BIG fan of Cookout! Love the prices and the hours!!! The only downside is the line usually wraps around the building a couple time and sometimes out onto West End, but its all part of the experience. My go to order is a Cheese quesadilla tray, with white cheddar cheese bites and cajun fries and an M'n'M shake.

Just got back to work from ordering food at The Cookout. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and cajun fries. I received a cheese quesadilla that was thin as paper and fries that had cajun seasoning poured on it. I think I set myself up for failure by assuming the cajun fries were breaded in cajun seasoning and the quesadilla would have chicken. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. If you're planning to order the quesadilla, DON'T! Visit your nearest food truck or Taco Bell. See pics for context. ☹️🤦🏾‍♀️

The food was so yummy. I had the Hamburger hush puppies and chicken wrap.

Today was my second time here :) I had a “regular burger” with tomato, bacon, and cheese. My bacon seemed to be undercooked but the flavor of the burger was good, tasted even better with some of their buffalo sauce. I also had a small order of their “cajun fries” and they were delicious! (Adding the buffalo sauce on them made them taste even better as well). Lastly I had a small vanilla milkshake, last time I came here I remembered it being so thick that I couldn’t even drink it… so this time I specifically asked for it to be more on the liquid side, lol but no luck today, it was thicker than thick. The taste is good but its not drinkable so grab a spoon! The service seems to always be friendly and helpful here, and the restaurant is big enough for groups.

We went to a concert last month to Nashville, TN. Even though we have Cook Out close to our home we’ve never eat there before. The service was excellent, he was very attentive and explained the menu, since it was our first time there. The Chicken sandwich was moist and tasty. My husband’s cheese burger was really good. The fries were crispy and well seasoned and the white cheddar bites were good. I think we spent like $16 total with the drinks. Cook out is wayyyy much before then the chain burgers fast foods.

I like the way Cookout has maximized their lot with a wrap around drive through. The BBQ sandwiches we bought are awesomely delicious but more pricey than expected, especially considering portion size

Excellent prices, excellent location, amazing food. The burgers are fantastic and so are the crinkle cut Cajun French fries! The blueberry cheesecake milkshake is incredible. The hush puppies were very good. The gentleman server at the desk was super polite and friendly. I would 100% recommend this place to friends and family. I would for sure some back again. I may even come Back again tomorrow. 🤣

This is an average place to eat. If you’re hungry and don’t care about taste, atmosphere, or if people serve you with a smile, this is definitely your place to eat! If any of those above mentioned things matter to you, you’re better off spending a little more and eating good food somewhere else.

The oreo peanut butter shake was amazing. And the bacon cheeseburger was delicious also. Only down side I ordered a bacon cheese burger and that's what I got no lettuce tomato or onion but I guess I probably should have specified. Oh well burger was delicious without. Great food.

Staff a bit rude about walking inside to pick up napkins for a shake spill. Trash food, but super cheap. The shakes are good tho!

The staff was friendly and greeted me with a smile. I had never been here before and the cashier was super friendly and very patient. I was also a lil short on change and he covered what I owed. In return I brought him back a Gatorade and some gum for appreciation. I had the money on a card but it wasn't reading my card. Thanks cook out

I eat here every day. I get the same milkshake too. It's good. The food is cheap and it's open late. I love it

First time coming to Nashville the food is simple, quick, and cheap If I come back to Nashville this will definitely be my place to eat. If u like old fashion cooked on your grill at home food this is even better because u don't have to clean the grill when u r done eating. I loved it.. wish they was more places like this..keep it up.

I brought my clients from out of town here twice recently. They take a little longer to order their food and are sometimes indecisive, but the staff has been extremely nice and patient each time. I appreciate their politeness. My clients love the food here, and we will be back. 😁

I gave 2 stars because the choc milkshake was pretty good. Idk what you call this. Supposed to be a BLT. Bacon completely raw. Not even warm

I just play league poker here but staff is great and food is pretty damn good. Fish sandwich good the filets mignon and biscuits excellent ,grilled cheese great and chicken salad great. But also good wings pizzas etc...great pool tables good card games and great calm atmosphere

Went here after a night of drinking with friends around 1am and I gotta say the employees held it down for so many people being there. The place was pretty much packed with all different types of people and the vibe was just so good. To make it even better our order for 4 people was correct and the burgers was absolutely delicious. Best Cookout I have ever been to.

It's probably take out only. The food is very good - as indicated by the long line of cars always present! All kinds of burgers and hot dogs, plus other sandwiches. The crew works really fast to move the line so you don't have to wait long.

It was alright but they one had 2 workers maybe 3 as I couldn't see in the back. Anyway I felt that the food was for the most part bland. It did fill me up though!! And their milkshakes are amazing. I'll def come back for milkshake

Girl was behind the counter sitting in the floor with her hands cupped over her face. I played her game. She got up after about 5 minutes and said what do you want in a rude stern voice. I Ordered my food and gave her no attention. She was also sporting the pants-on-the-ground look. I understand they struggle to get help, but this is not the answer. You are better off shutting down the lobby than doing this to patrons.

I'm currently eating a cookout shake as I'm writing this review. Top 10 drunk food of all time. It's my second home, many of the last few pounds I've put on have been from there. If I'm in a gym and I don't know where to eat or I just want the best damn shake in the city, it's gonna be cook out. I usually get a Oreo strawberry cheesecake shake, but you can go way crazier if you want. God bless cookout, god bless America for having cookout in it.

This place is where to go late night after you've been sipping on some drinks in the downtown honky tonk scene! It's usually pretty busy but they keep the line moving and the food is great... really nice people

Literally the BEST Cook Out I’ve ever been to. The food was much better quality than I’ve gotten from any other Cook Out location, even tasted better. Everything was hot, fresh, and DELICIOUS. The line seemed long at first, but everything went pretty quick. We come to Nashville often for concerts and it’s difficult to find quick places that are open and NOT in a scary area. This will definitely be our go to place if we get meals after the concerts in the future! Service was friendly, even in a bit of an overwhelming moment with customers lining up.

Love this location! They always keep that line moving. Whoever be seasoning the fries def dipped a little bit of love on em. Cookout sauce is soooo good. Probably come like 4 times a week. Great after the club, work or just a day out.

Best experience! They always have great hot dogs because they have grill marks! These were hot, fresh and delicious on warm toasted buns with yellow mustard and plenty of chopped onions. We got the combo tray meal which includes two hot dogs two sides and a drink. The two sides were the walking tacos which are crunchy nachos in a chip bag with sour cream, chili, cheese and lettuce. Remember to ask for a plastic fork. You can even opt for a milkshake instead of a drink for a nominal up charge. It’s nice that they have a drive thru.
