This water park was pretty fun! The price for entry was high for the quality and size of the park. It was $15 to park $50+ per person for a ticket and $15 for a small locker. Drinks were $3-4 dollars and food was about $15. You can expect to spend some money at places like this BUT I believe the entry fee could have been much lower because this would cost a family a lot. It was about $100 a person when it was all said and done for me and my partner. I have been to several water parks and this one was just mediocre for the entry fee. Plus one main slide was shut down half of the day. The bathrooms and lockers were very dirty and the sidewalks were very hot to walk on so water shoes are almost a must. Pros to this park is that they do have lifts for larger tubes so you do not have to carry anything over a 1-2 person tube. The park had AMAZING food trucks on site! The best chicken and waffles I ever had and authentic tacos and refried beans! It was a good way to stay cool on a hot day and enjoy some great food but I recommend trying to find cheaper tickets online.

Do not waste your money. We got cheaper tickets online and it was still a waste. Hour plus long wait for FOOD and WATER. They don’t allow you to bring your own water or food and snacks and make you wait in atrocious lines for a very basic humanly need. Vendors are short staffed and ran out of things quick. Couldn’t even get food because the wait in the line ran over an hour and a half and our children nearly got heat stroke. Zero seating if you get there 30 min after opening and zero shaded area so plan to bake in the sun. Bring WATER SHOES because they chose the hottest pavements for a water park. The lines for every ride were entirely too long to wait in considering food and water were scarce. Seriously don’t waste your money. The park is overrun with thousands of people and it’s miserable. We drove from GA to enjoy this place and regretted every minute of it.

Had great fun when me and my wife took my kids on Saturday. Food was great, customer service was very friendly from all staff members. My family and I also got to witness a guard who was rescued out of the lake by others who also worked at the park they cared for her carefully and fast nice work nashville shores, this assured me that if they acted fast for one of the guards they’ll act fast for anyone. I will be returning 👍🏻Prayers to that lifeguard. 🙏🏻

Rented 4 cabins for a family reunion / vacation. Fun was had by all. General store staff super friendly and helpful. Kids enjoyed the water park. Little hike from the far lake side cabins to the water park. Golf cart would have been perfect. Bathrooms are a bit small in the cabins, but better than using the woods!

Awesome place to escape the heat 🔥! Very safe, great Lifeguards! Fun for kids of all ages, decent Bar for adults, standard "carnival type" food. I would give 5 stars but the concession services (food and snacks), needs work. There is No outside Food or Drink allowed, but a total of only 5 people working concessions for the whole park. I know it's hard to find workers and it's hard to get teenage employees to move with any 'sense of Purpose' so there is alot of Grace given here. Just be patient getting food, it's gonna take awhile.

Overall, it is not a bad waterpark but they need more workers at food lines to make those move more quickly. We stood in line for an hour for food and another hour for ice cream. We also paid almost $300 for a cabana and there were lots of bugs, the bathrooms were nasty, and I just felt that for that price tag we should have gotten a little bit more. Maybe a server or attendant? I mean you already spend a good amount for tickets and then the cabana is another expense so for around $500 for a family of 4 (minus food) you still have to go stand in food/drink lines. Anyway, the attractions were fun and my kids had a good time.

The place was great. My only complaint would be the employees not letting you in on the deals available. If you buy the tickets online you save$10 per head. They're is also a week day ticket selection. If you go on a week day and order online you save $20 a head! Staff needs to be more educated about informing people about this. Do not buy tickets at the booth people. Buy online and save a bunch.

Our lake front site was perfect! The view was amazing! The early morning breeze coming through the RV windows was a welcoming feeling to open your eyes and take in the gorgeous view. The duck wildlife along with watching others jet skiing right from our site was entertaining. The staff was wonderful and security was very friendly and present! The sites are narrow with approximately 5ft of grass around concrete pad. Our site, 32, had a significant crumbling cracked corner so our RV could not be backed in all the way and keep the one Jack out of the crack. This caused a slight concern for parking precisely each day we moved our truck. When walking through the RV sites, you can tell they are slowly working on and fixing the RV site pads with new concrete. We went jet skiing and found the staff to be very safe and patient in teaching new riders. Highly recommend making a reservation. There is a private RV beach, however it would be nice to have access to a pool after the waterpark closes. We happened to be here during several days of a heat advisory for the region and an early evening swim in a pool would have been refreshing. The camper discounts on admission is nice to all the attractions. We are highly considering making this an annual summer spot!

Customer service was awful. Hour long wait for food. Wasn't even a busy day. High prices and they ran out of things fast. Life jackets were DISGUSTING! Covered in mold spots and smelled terrible! Not family friendly environment. They DO allow thong bathing suits, even though they say they don't. Bathrooms are old and most of the doors wouldn't lock. The life guards start barking orders at you the second you exit a water slide before you have your senses straight. The wave pool was awesome. Big screen playing music videos made it much more fun. The lazy river was enjoyable. There is nothing there that would ever bring us back. If you're in the area, it's a good way to waste a day. But don't plan a trip around this place. Just plan on spending a lot of money if you go there.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We actually tried to add one more night but it was full. We had an amazing spot on the water. The sites were clean and neat all be it a tad small but just fine for us. Lots of sites within 20-30 minutes away! The water park was one of the best I’ve been to. Very clean, friendly staff and attentive life guards. We didn’t get to do the Treetop adventure but the kids really wanted to (we planned to do it on a Monday but didn’t realize they were closed on Mondays) *Things the owner should consider- we have stayed at water parks and rv resorts that have wrist bands we attach our credit card too so we can buy food and drinks without needing to get our wallet out all the time. We would have spent way more money our days in the water park if that was a feature. Also the last day we were there a few slides were closed and food places which stunk- I can only assume due to lack of staff. Overall I would stay here again and recommend anyone Going to Nashville to stay here!

Would like a 3.5 rating but don't have one so we're going to round up. Enjoyed my stay. Cabin was clean but showed signs of wear. (Stained carpet, broken microwave handle, worn finish on floor tile.) Here in off season (mid October). That worked out well for me. Water park closed, no boat rentals (could have enjoyed a day of pontoon on the lake.) Beautiful sunsets, 20 minutes from downtown Nashville, friendly staff. Could see it as a fun place to take kids in summer, just well past that stage in my life.

Season pass and parking is a great value for the money. Attendants are helpful and friendly. Cool new water slide this year but the line was pretty long so haven't made it down yet. Lockers are available to store items but we never bring anything significant into the park, lots of people and no sense in tempting anyone and risk a loss. Can't use the ring floats in the wave pool this year, not a deal breaker but disappointing. Seating areas are clean and it's nice to be able to go out and come back in, so we pack lunch since we're not really fast food eaters anymore. Food is priced fairly and was pretty good the last time we ordered chicken and fries. Lifeguards are fair and do a great job keeping the guests safe and the rowdy little kids following the safety rules. Overall great experience every time we visit.

Great time at the water park. We rented a covered canopy and a electric scooter for the climbs with sidewalks pretty steep paths if you would want to take a wheelchair ♿️ plenty of access... very pleasant atmosphere for sure parking was close no lines long as you get your tickets online.

Me and my family had a great experience here for the first time. Colby I think one of the lifeguard supervisors really was awesome. He made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions. Thank you for being positive around us. It truly made my day!

Welcome to the Lakeside Resort where you have absolutely NO access to said lake. Only lake access is via the water park (which was closed the entire time we stayed). Stayed in lake side cabin with my husband and 4 children (ages 17, 15, 12, 9). The cabin was clean, but expect to bring everything for cooking, grilling. No cutting board, no salt/pepper, only 1 small steak knife for cutting, no grill utensils. Their website was not forth coming in letting you know the water park and tree top adventure park close during the week days after first week of August. Our family stayed Monday-Saturday (checked out Saturday so no time to access). You could rent a boat at marina to get in the water. Water sports rental has no lake access unless you are renting and that was way over priced. It cost more to rent a jet ski then a pontoon. Giving this place 2 stars only because the cabin was clean, the lake is beautiful and grounds are kept up nicely. Staff at general store very friendly.

Fun place for families to visit! Park is not over crowded, get the early for the best sun chairs. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Food is good, service is a little slow. Order your food early, lines get longer as the afternoon goes on. Adult beverages are great at the hut, service is even better! Safety is a major part of this park. Lifeguards are focused and vigilant. This is one of our favorite places to visit in Nashville.

Not worth the price. Restrooms and showers very run down and dirty. We relied on the „Free sunscreen“ claimed on the website, which none of them were working. We got burnt. We waited 1 full hour in line to order food. The food was not good at all and very expensive for what it was. Very slow service. Which I’m understanding of because of the pandemic. But then at least let people bring their food in or do something to make this more pleasant. The drinks were good. Had to pay extra $10 for a small locker. So a solid 120$ for two people without food/drink. It’s not worth it. Two rides were closed as well. Luckily it was not too busy. This place could be a lot better.

we were in a hillside cabin for three days from June 27-30. The area was perfect we spent one day at the water park , next day went exploring the area. Only complaint is the cabins with the lofts has no air conditioning and with the temps being in the 90 s had all the air conditioners running full blast all day long. I brought a fan but was not able to plug in so we went to a dollar store and got a extension cord . It helped but still warm , think maybe a small airconditioner could be installed in a loft. Other than that it is a great deal with the discount if you stay there on the water park tickets. Thank you Doyles from Florida

Such a nice family getaway whether for a short weekend or for the entire week. I've been here several times over the years & always have a great time. Big comfy bed in private bedroom plus large fold out couches, spacious bathroom, full kitchen & dinning room area.

Adult Swim Night. Super fun BUT...not enough food or drink vendors. The lines were so long. At least 30 minute wait to buy a beer, water or food. That's not good. The event was only 4hrs and spending 38 minets in line was upsetting. Also, not enough lounge chairs. Folks had towels everywhere trying to sit. Also, leaving at 9:50pm the lights didn't work in the parking lot so it was pure dark getting to our cars. Awesome event but these issues should be addressed for next time.

Decided to get season passes and spend the afternoon at the water park. Gotta say the park is nice and fireworks were amazing, although fairly short. Here is the rub. Fireworks started around 8:30 p.m. The park closed concessions at 7 p.m., except a pizza shop and Lakeside Grill. It resulted in hundreds of people converging on these eateries all at once. Took an hour and a half to get food. I barely sat down when fireworks began. Others were still waiting. Need all eateries to remain open to accommodate your guests. Also, when exiting later I was forced to depart in opposite direction of where I needed to go. Very frustrating to be sent off like that. Lots of people and vehicles moving about in parking lot all at once. Felt a bit unsafe, but took my time. My observations are likely unique to this event.

The campground is clean and beautiful right on the lake. We enjoyed our stay was originally 5 nights but stayed 7 and they were very accommodating! The shuttle service was certainly the way to go - very easy to be dropped off and picked up at many locations. Kayla was the best - (she wasn’t leaving us lost in the Opryland area.). She is a dedicated worker that’s for sure! Overall we would stay here again .

This place is always great fun! Lines not too long. It's not too spread out. About the right amount of attractions. Although have only gone twice this year due to distance, I'm still glad I bought season tickets on sale for fam of 4. This time was able to take 3 kids friends along for free admission. Def worth purchasing again! Love this place!

Small water park, good for kids and families. The park includes, wave pool, a small lazy river, some water tube slides, and kiddie areas. Now as far as food options; the park has pizza, chicken tenders, chips, funnel cakes, dip n dots, cheese burgers and French fries. If you're looking for good food I'd say theirs is definitely not a good option. Food priced range in the 10 dollar range. Cleanliness of the park is just ok, it is definitely dated and there are areas that need to be attended to and cleaned or painted. Bring your own towels they do not provide any for their guests. Lockers are available for rental. Cabanas are limited and if you don't book one in advance you're out of luck. But there are a few shaded picnic tables at the entrance of the park. Other than that the entire park is open and out in the sun with limited shade. The beach area is small with a large lake water inflatable playground area. Overall we were a family of 5 and had a blast with two small children.

We went to the water park, not lodging. Overall the water park was good. The food options weren't the greatest, considering the prices I expected the fries to be hot and sandwiches to be decent. The restrooms were very gross. Not only unclean (which I can look past when a place is super busy) but in complete disrepair. The toilets were broken, pieces missing and some were inoperable. The soap dispenser was missing pieces and you had to reach in and push on the insides to get soap. One would think with the admission fees that are charged, it would be in much better shape. We were entertaining friends from Germany and it was a little embarrassing.

This place is amazing. Great friendly staff. They have the water park right next door, dog friendly, Tree Park adventure park with obstacles and zip lines which was a blast. J who was or guide put it over the top, really made it a great experience for my family. They have a marina within walking distance to rent boats and jet skies to take out on the lake. There is also a shuttle that takes you downtown Nashville also which is great for easy access to everything you can do in Nashville. Really looking forward to our next stay at Nashville Shores.

Family 4th of July trip. Had a wonderful time in the campground. We reserved a spot right on the lake, kids enjoyed fishing. We also spent several days at the water park. Great way to cool off during a hot July day. Staff at the general store are very friendly, and the shuttle to downtown Nashville was great.

Took my grandchildren for the day. We had a great time in the wave pool and the lazy river. The lines for the slides we very long. The lines would have been faster if they didn't wait so long in-between people. I don't understand why they didn't send the next person down when they cleared the bottom of the slide. Also the one slide had rafts that fit five people but they would send 2 riders down, just fill the raft up to make the line go faster. We did have a fun day and the park was clean and the staff was friendly. Be sure to wear water shoes because the cement is very hot and burns your feet just from walking from the lounge chairs to the water.

  • 3/5 Justin S. 9 months ago on Google
Visited the water park only, Probably a 3.5, not bad. The funnel ride was really fun. Nice wave pool with a huge TV that plays music videos, loved that. Not the cleanest, most beach chairs were disgusting. I would recommend it for sports teams in town looking for something to do. Def wouldn't make an out of town trip.

We didn't stay on property so can't rate the property. But 5 stars on the water park and staff!! We had a blast. We had three generations here. And all age groups had an awesome time. Staff is very friendly. And make your visit fun and memorable. They have several slides to choose from. Both raft and body slides. The lazy river is long and fun. Wave pool has a giant video screen that entertains you in-between waves with music videos n more. We cannot comment enough on how friendly the staff are. Wherever you go they are engaging.

This is a very nice RV park. It’s pricey but has some nice features. The staff was very friendly. The roads are in good shape. Easy access off of the highway. The sites are paved and didn’t require any leveling of the RV. The lakeside views are beautiful. Our site was clean. However…Firewood is way overpriced. The fire pits need to be replaced. The cabins are okay. Also overpriced. Very nice layout but needed deep cleaning…cobwebs, dusty blinds, dead bugs, and poor amenities (broken coffee pot, mismatched flatware, barely enough personal care items for 6 people). The common areas throughout the park need some upkeep.

  • 3/5 Carol C. 2 years ago on Google
Once again this reinforces the question, “ what makes an RV park a resort”?. The spots were very close together, exception of “new” area on the same side as the water slides. Would have been very disappointed if I had expected to use the “amenities” nothing was open during the week. We were treated to an unexpected fire work display on Saturday evening which was very nice. The lake was pretty but viewing it through a chain link fence list some of its appeal. Wouldn’t return.

Far and away the best water park in town. Just try and go on a weekday or early because on a summer day you'll get maybe 3 rides in by the time the day is gone. We went last week and were able to ride everything and some even more then once. It's just a better experience when there isn't so many people you can't even find room to walk. Food is crazy expensive also.

  • 1/5 Jamie L. 2 years ago on Google
Greeted by a mediocre staff person didn't give a good vibe...it was continued once we found our "premium lakefront view" for which we paid dearly. DON'T BOTHER requesting that as the "premium lakefront view" was along a chain link fence in the water which was about 3-4' from your site. NOT PREMIUM IN MY BOOK. NO AMENITIES that you are expecting...no pool to swim in, the water park you are excited about going to is CLOSED (which is NOT mentioned on the website or told to you at check in) and only open on Saturday & Sunday. DISAPPOINTED is an understatement. NO WI-FI EITHER. The sites are VERY CLOSE to one another and the dog park is less than desirable. We should have been refunded at least half of the money we paid as this was NOT a premium site whatsoever. I would suggest skipping this place. We will NOT return or recommend.

Season Pass is the way to go if local! Yes there are quick times and over a hour for refill or food. But you can keep a cooler and go in and out. Everything is pretty high like any other theme place you go. For the little kids they will have fun and there’s things to do as adults. I always have children so I don’t get to do most of the 9 water rides they have. And not only the water park but you can rent jet ski or go climb on the other side in the rope trees. Nashville shores is only water so that adventure is for another day! Some women I’ve noticed wear the thong I personally think if kids are allowed then you need to cover your bottom. As a season passed I’ve only seen a handful so it isn’t to big of a problem. Sometimes there aren’t any lockers for the season pass members a busy day I’ve had to carry for 2 children and myself. All lockers were sold out. But all in all. It’s a great place to bring your family and have some fun memories made here.
