Old school old shop with good options of ice cream and milkshakes. The vibe is classic and the place is chill. People are nice and considerate.

After having lunch we passed by here and the "homemade ice cream " piqued my interest. This is a nice quaint ice cream shop. They had my favorite ice cream of all flavors, Super Hero aka Superman, here.....BUT I stumbled upon the Banana Pudding ice cream. I asked for a sample before deciding against my favorite. And when I tasted it, I felt like a piece of my soul drifted up to heaven. So, I opted for 2 scoops (being greedy) in a waffle cone. I don't know how they successfully combined ice cream and banana pudding but they did so seamlessly. There are either frozen bananas or banana chips in the ice cream that threw me off at first (because I didn't know what I was biting into), but adds to the texture. This ice cream alone gives this place 5 🌟 's. I will be back!

Friendly and amazing. The workers were great and so willing to serve. The homemade soda was great, ice cream was amazing and worth following the favorite spots in Nashville.

Got an ice cream soda and it was pretty good. I'd come again. House: wasn't the cleanest of places but I've definitely eaten at worse. Could use a good mopping and some general upkeep. Table I sat at looked clean but ended up with chocolate all over my phone case. C+/B- Service: very friendly and fast. A Food: got a black cherry ice cream soda. The soda was old fashioned pull and the ice cream was homemade. The ice cream was excellent! B+ Price: i think the price was low compared to other places. A

Amazing ice cream with a huge selection of unique flavors. Got the fudge covered chocolate cookies, nutter butter, mint white choc chip, banana pudding Everything was homemade and they add a lot of textures in every flavor. The fudge covered cookie was the biggest highlight with huge chunks of cookie/fudgey cake? Pro tip 1; grab a single scoop with two flavors. BEST ice cream place I have EVER been to and I have been to a LOT (all over the US). I chose superhero & chocolate chip cookie dough and it was the best decision. The texture was the perfect "creamy" texture and it melted in my mouth. It was so soft and "the flavors were melting on my tongue!" I finished every bit of it and I was telling all of my friends how I keep thinking about the moment I chose it and was eating it. Also, the employees were very friendly! 100/10 would come back!

Homemade ice cream & coffee bar right off 2nd near Broadway. You can enjoy nearby shops & restaurants, stop in for some great ice cream and you can find metored parking along the streets or parking lots and garages nearby.

This place has some great ice cream, recommend you try the caramel one and the blueberry cheesecake one. It definitely should be on a waffle cone.

Delicious ice cream that is made in store, not purchased from mass-produced ice cream manufacturers. The staff are great and the portion sizes and prices are awesome.

This is good ice cream. Everyone has what they like so I would not know if these flavors are for you. But. The ice cream is creamy and tasted good. We got coffee, Tennessee fudge, cookies and cream, and nutter butter. All great flavors. The coffee could be a bit more coffee flavor. I wouldn't bead at that. Also, the double scoop is huge! They're generous with their portions. The bad thing was, their ice cream is softer so it melts fast. And the other is the waffle cones get soggy quick too and the ice cream leaks out the bottom so get plenty of napkins!

What a great ice cream shop. We had the Chocolate Overload and the White Chocolate Banana Cream flavors (scoops and milkshakes), and they were both delicious. You can immediately tell that the ice cream is made fresh, not mass produced. So glad we discovered Mike's. You won't be disappointed!

The people working there were so nice. We had the banana pudding and blueberry cheese cake in a cup and red velvet and nutter butter in a cone. The ice cream was fresh and so delicious. Price is not bad for how much you are served. We are definitely coming back when in town.

Insanely DELICIOUS! Never in my life have I thought an empty ice cream cup would make me sad! The staff is super sweet and their suggestion was spot on (butter cookie!). Drop everything you’re doing and go treat yourself to some homemade happiness!

Such fabulous flavors! It was so hard to choose from their creative and well thought out flavor combinations. I finally decided on the sea salt caramel and was blown away!! SO FREAKING TASTY! Unlike some caramel flavors, this one never got overwhelming in sweetness and stayed refreshing from beginning to end. Definitely a great place to stop. It also offered a little respite from the rush of downtown as it was tucked away from the more lively night life of the main drag. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely coming back here when I’m in Nashville.

Stopped here for refreshments while exploring downtown Nashville. Had two scoops of orange sherbet in a waffle cone and a bottle of water. A bit on the pricey side, but it hit the spot so well that I didn't mind. Staff was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed sitting at the window with my ice cream and watching the world go by.

Mike's Ice Cream and coffee bar, serves the best frozen cappuccino that Nashville has to offer. Conveniently located off of Broadway, so you are never too far from all that's going on. Open late, with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from, and T-Shirt sold for a nice souvenir.

Amazing icecream. They have some great flavors and you can choose what you want on your floats. Pretty crowded this should tell you how great this place is We took the icecream and stood just outside listening to the great music from the Taco Bell next door. Will definitely be back

Great service! Ice cream was delicious 😋and coffee was fresh and hot. Definitely plan on coming back. It's a small place. Not a lot of seating. Otherall I really liked it. Prices were fair.

Advertised as home made, it is really like home made. Good ice cream. We tried the salted caramel and strawberry cheese cake, both were delicious.

What the doctor ordered. Was in desperate need of some ice cream and Mike's delivered. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were what I'd expect for its location and is higher than it's competitors in other areas of town. Cool ice cream shop just often the beaten path.

The ice cream here was spectacular. So rich and creamy. We got the chocolate and peanut butter as well as the berry cornbread ice cream. Just wow, wish I could’ve tried more flavours before we left the city. 100% recommend, and the location is poppin’ at night
