Opened during the pandemic, Elegy Coffee is a small cafe in East Nashville with a few seats outside and a walk-up window for takeout coffee. Inside, is a small space with friendly baristas and plants decorating the walls. They brew Seattle's Arrowhead Coffee and have a full coffee menu. I tried their burnt honey latte and wow. It combined the usual flavors of a latte with a few unique tones. I highly recommend it!

Super cute and trendy coffee shop on Gallatin in East Nashville. Love the indoor vibe with all the plants. Full bodied espresso. Plenty of parking in the rear and a fun greenery wall cool for taking taking pictures in the "alley"/in between buildings. You can order indoor, or through the walk up window. Giving 4 stars mostly due to the fact that there is zero indoor seating (there is a lot of outside seating however...), but drink prices also tend to be on the expensive side.

Hip spot with excellent, creatively designed drinks. Enjoyed the Speculoos latte. Would certainly recommend to those in search of good espresso and relaxed atmosphere.

Went on a hot Saturday afternoon and got the Honey Bunches of Cold Brew and it was fabulous. My husband loved his coffee so much we bought a bag of beans to take home! You gotta drop in for a take out coffee soon!

Coffee was good, more bitter than sweet in the latte I ordered which was good. Pastries were also interesting. Location is a little out of the way but also kinda cozy that way.

Elegy has delicious espresso. We also enjoyed a cortado with oatmilk. We came to this original location because I reached out prior & they said it would have the best selection of vegan treats. They were right! Everything croissant & cinnamon pop tart were wonderful. The space allows for ordering inside or at a walk up window. Some seating outside which we enjoyed since it was a gorgeous sunny morning.

Loved the coffee and the breakfast burrito was to die for! Just wished they had an option for not only take away packing, since we did tell them we intended to eat it there and they just wrapped it in foil in a small paper bag so it was really hard to cut and then eat and have nothing to eat it on 😵 i noticed that 70-80% of people were enjoying their coffee and food on the tables in front of the shop so please work on having both options there so people can eat comfortably and takeaway is not the only option.

The coffee drinks and food are so good, and the people are so friendly! I love the honey bear and now the pumpkin honey bear! The witching hour is delicious as well as the breakfast burrito! There is a small inside area, but I have only ordered at the outside window and sat at the tables outside!

Elegy coffee is a bit pricey, but I think it’s definitely worth it. I had a vanilla latte with oat milk that blew several other coffees shops lattes out of the water. I also had a bacon and egg sandwich on an everything bagel that was super tasty. The look and feel of the coffee shop was also super cool and cozy, but the absence of indoor seating was disappointing. I understand why as it is a very much grab and go kind of shop with their quick service and even a walk up window, but the coziness of Elegy made me want to hang a while. They did have ample outdoor seating for those warmer days. Definitely recommend Elegy for a quick coffee and breakfast grab.

It’s an easy spot to miss driving down the road, but don’t. I literally do not write reviews and I took a sip of my latte and said “they just never miss. It’s enough for me to write a review”. Their lattes are always the perfect texture. Perfect temp. Good flavor. Innovative seasonal drinks. Not a place to sit down and drink your coffee though. It’s a grab and go spot.

I really love their coffee but I also really appreciate their non-coffee options. My husband is a caffeine addict where as I can't have any caffeine after 11am. So i really love that I can come here with him in the afternoon and have something other than an herbal tea. We recently stopped in and I got their watermelon lemonade and 100% recommend that beverage. In the past I've gotten their hot apple cider as well, which I think is seasonal, and that's one of my all time favorites.

Not only one of the best coffees in Nashville, but one of the best I’ve ever had in all my travels. Highly recommend getting a vanilla burnt honey latte. Absolutely unreal. Oh, and the vibe of this place is amazing as well. Great all around.

This place had some of the best coffee I have had in the last years. The bagel was solid with delicious cream cheese. Definitely will return!

Passing through on our drive back to Texas and gave this place a try and glad we did! The atmosphere was amazing with the way the plants flow and the set up of the shop. I got the Honey bear cold brew and it was great! Also have some cool merch on the inside so would absolutely recommend stopping by.

Thankfully I went on a sunny day that was neither too hot nor too cold. We sat outside and ordered some iced coffee's, a vegetarian burrito with sweet potato, a great sauce and egg, and my partner ordered a crisp egg and bacon croissant. Everything from the ambiance to the food was good and a perfect quantity. I would say if you're a big breakfast eater to buy 2 burritos or 2 croissants. Great location for a morning date, catching up with friends, trying a new coffee location/explore or event taking some mural pictures for your instagram. Those are 2 of the murals right beside the location.

Excellent coffee shop with housemade syrups, specialty lattes with smooth, unique flavors. They have merch available, plants, and pastries as well. There is a patio area out front and free parking in the back.

We moved here from Seattle and are really really picky with coffee. This place is AMAZING! So so so good. I don’t normally go for sweet coffee drinks but the black & white is heaven in a cup. Perfectly balanced. Dangerous though as it’s slightly addicting and I’m craving them all the time.

This is without a doubt my favorite coffee in Nashville. Don't get me wrong, there are several wonderful local coffee shops in town, but this is the best. Absolutely must try the burnt honey latte.

Got coffee first take away a few times in visit here. There is an outdoor and indoor place to order. It’s right along a main road in east Nashville. The latte was good. Ice coffee was excellent. They only do one size hot coffee which was a bit weird. Pricing is on par with trending coffee shops. No indoor seating. I think the iced coffee was around 5.50 and the latte 6. I would return here

Absolute gem of a coffee shop in East Nashville! Nice pastry selection, and both the hot and iced coffee is super flavorful. I’m normally just a black coffee guy but I’ll admit I was a big fan of the honey bunches of cold brew. The staff are all super friendly, and there are plenty of outdoor tables (no indoor seating)

We came into town from CA and needed to find good coffee ASAP, and we did!! Got an oat milk latte with an extra shot (four total!!) and it was incredible. And normally it’s pretty hard to make a latte stand out from other coffee shops, but the espresso had an unbelievable flavor - it was really unique and delicious!!

Elegy!! WOW!! Tripped and found this place! A true blessing in disguise …. This place has a great social buzz and the staff makes you feel like a REAL guest! With attention to detail this place rivals my hometown coffee persona up in the great PNW .. Secret menu hint: The Badda Bing (It’ll Change Your Taste Buds Forever)!!

Guys and Gals and humans of all persuasions in between!! This is the quint essential calming coffee shop. Tucked right off Trinity Lane and Gallatin Pike you would think it chaotic, but the smells and atmosphere instantly relax the mind and soul. Not to mention the amazing coffee and gourmet snacks. Do yourself a favor. Simply go there and try it. I'll be back tomorrow for more coffee and probably a couple merch items.

We stopped by for coffee this morning and were unable to get our order taken. We stood outside the Coffee To Go window next to a menu and an open window with a tablet (ostensibly one for taking orders) - there was a worker standing there who made eye contact with us, then shut the window. So we continued waiting. The window opened again, she glared at us, then moved the tablet back and shut the window. The window opened again. And then shut again, accompanied by another glare. People were queued up behind us to have their orders taken. People who had walked into the shop were having their orders taken, so I’m imagining there’s simply an issue of unclear signage, but regardless, rather than just opening and closing the windows and glaring, it would have been helpful to say, “are you waiting to order? Please come inside!” After about 5 minutes, we left. I can only imagine that the queue of people behind us are either still there, gathering dust, or perhaps someone was finally kind enough to communicate the proper flow of commerce.
