Beautiful spacious place near the seashore. Sunrise can be seen at the seashore adjacent to this place. Lot of shady trees and open space. Homely veg food available. Plumbing maintenance needed to be done. Affordable room tariff. Peacocks and Chickens can be seen wandering. Birds sounds heard early in morning.

Best experience. Located an apt location. Next to the beach and proximate to the temple. Walking distance to temple. Good food and good ambience and good staff and good service. All in all very good service Prices are fixed, there is a 20% discount for senior citizens. May avail the benefit if you are travelling with your parents

We stayed at this place for two nights in the month of May. Our prime objective was to visit Rameshwaram temple and this place is at a walkable distance from the temple. We booked non A/c room with extra bed as the A/c rooms were all booked. The room was spacious and comfortable with ample natural light coming in. Though the building was old the room and toilet are clean and well maintained. We had a jackpot with the room's balcony directly facing the sea. The view was spectacular. We also enjoyed the sunrise right from our balcony. The front desk staff are available for help and guidance at any time. You can ask them for any information regarding the nearby places to visit or get the contact number of some good local guides. Two minus points: The windows do not have mosquito net. We left the window open in the night to let some breeze come in, as the fan alone was not helping us in those summer nights. We got attacked by mosquitoes throughout the night. They provide complementary breakfast, but the quality of food is not that great. So five stars for location, 1 star less for rooms.

Absolutely not worth it. Stay elsewhere if you can. The service is just so, so bad. I had ants in my room and had to pretty much beg them to do something about it. After two days of sleeping in a bed with ante they finally offered a different room.

We booked this hotel online for our budget trip to Rameswaram. It offered breakfast as part of the deal, which sounded good. However, we were disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. There were many small black bugs on the floor. We decided to change hotels the next day. We found another one and the same price range that had a much better room, but no breakfast included.

Its very near to temple. Neat and Clean room with sea facing balcony which we liked it. Room and balcony was spacious but Bathroom was not good. We faced challanges for room service and house keeping. Restaurant is good and we liked food. There are very limited pure veg restaurant in Rameshwaram so we liked hotel's restaurant.

Toilets need be renovated though clean enough and hotel thereof needs further expansion with attracting customers and there needs looked after properly. maybe lack of customers could be their cause of concern during lean periods. But expensive as at the moment. Reception staff and attendants were active within minutes Thanking them. Mst consider reducing prices at lean periods.

Only best thing in this Hotel is the location as it is close to the Indian Ocean and to the Rameswaram Main Temple. Following is my experience: 1. We stayed in a 3 Bed family AC room. 2. The balcony door was not having any lock. And when I asked about it they just said that since it is Government property it is totally safe. Not sure how many families would buy that because we were scared to leave luggage, mobile phones, laptops or other expensive stuff at hotel room. Taking risk is an additional headache. 3. No handwash was provided to maintain proper hygiene, however soap was provide. 4. The inter-com was not working and even after requesting at least 3 times, no one came to fix it. 5. The hotel cafeteria is pure veg which is perfectly fine, but I could not find quality food and service. 6. There was no room service at all for anything, even food. 7.Once you checked in you are on your own.

The best property in the entire area. Very close to most of sight seeing and even sea facing. But the rooms badly needs maintenance. There was no room service and the restaurant had limited menu as well as fixed timing. Food served was good. They have large land that could be developed. Government should seriously look in to their properties.

I stayed there with my family for 4 days, it was a pleasant experience. This place is at a walkable distance from Agni Theertam. It is sea facing with gorgeous view from balcony and has a plenty of parking space. The restaurant is inside the complex, food was tasty. Even though the place is old, the toilet/ bathroom was clean and well maintained. Staff was courteous. Overall experience was satisfactory.

Very close to the temple and easy to walk. Located beside the ocean. Rooms are neat and clean. Restaurant in the hotel is limited to time. There is kids play area. No need to worry about parking vehicles there is a plenty of place here. There are no restaurants nearby this hotel this is the only problem.

Every TTDC hotel is at great location but service😩😩😩 !! What is this??? I stayed here with my 1 yr old daughter and asked them for mosquito liquid at the time of check-in, and they are able to give me at 7 pm only. Location of the property is very good but no cleanness. And kindly donot expect any cleaness anywhere in TTDC Hotels. Book TTDC Hotels only for location.

The hotel location is memorable. This property is quite spacious and well ventilated. The construction is also quite new. The best part is it’s sea facing. The only drawback is the maintenance of washrooms and poor room service. The taps were not working properly. No toiletries were provided and drinking water is not upto mark; but these can be overlooked, as the location is superb.

    1. Location of hotel near to Rameshwaram temple, which is convenient for the tourists. 2. Management and maintenance of hotel is average. 3. Dinning area required more cleanliness as mosquito and fly were all around. Food options were also limited. 4. Should be avoided.

Nice location near sea shore. One can contact over phone to find out the availability as most of the times the online portal shows non availability of the rooms for the reasons known to the management. Morning breakfast is complimentary and buffet type. Nice ambience. Little bit away from the temple. Serene atmosphere. One can combine pilgrimage and leisure travel and relax for two to three days.

The Hotel rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The only downside is the eating options. Since it is a Tamil Nadu Tourism-run place, there are many tourists coming here. However, the restaurant is not built to accommodate a lot of people at once, and so, it takes a lot of time for your order to actually reach you. Other than that, no complaints. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Rameshwaram.

It was nice 3xperience here. This hotel is owned by TTDC. You can book rooms here through ttdc website. It's close to the temple(around 600m ) and it's easy to access. Rooms are clean. There is a restaurant here. And it's a class restaurant. So price will be a bit high than outside as one would expect . But food is good. Staff were helpful. Breakfast is free for those who is staying there. Outsiders can also buy foods and drinks. Food is vegetarian.

Government owned property near by temple with clean and natural atmosphere near the near the Bay of Bengal, a decent and clean rooms with all basic amenities. Since it is pilgrimage place this level of stay is more than enough. Regarding food only buffet type for breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided the foods are only vegetarian and simple, tasty and good for stomach varieties are served. As pilgrim one can stay here.

It's a huge property and very close to the temple, this place is just few meters from Agni Theertam. Rooms are spacious and neatly maintained, toilets were clean and sanitized for our stay. There is a restaurant in the premise, breakfast was part of the stay but had limited options. However the food was decent enough. Don't expect a 5 star experience but it's a humble and moderate place to stay. Very convineantly located and just next to the beach and access to the water

Spacious property by the sea. Has 3 buildings n a restaurant serving veg food. We booked online. Make sure to call them with reservation number to confirm the same & inform check-in time. Reception and general staff are helpful. Rooms are good, toiletries are provided, drinking water aqua guard is on place. Only the bathrooms could be more cleaner. Walkable distance from Agni teertham n East entry of the temple for a normal person

Cheap and best hotel. Rooms are clean, bathroom was clean. Very near to Agni-Theertham, and maybe a 5-10 minute walk to the temple. Nearby is also the bus-stop where you can catch buses to go to the main bus-stand and catch outstation buses.
