I love their southern hospitality and food! Their Sunday brunches are my over all favorite! They make you feel right at home:)

This is my favorite childhood restaurant. Apparently, they still make the tiny breakfast biscuits, but the lady who makes them was out sick. I had the chicken and waffles. Mind you, it was hot wings and waffles, a combination I never even thought was possible. And it was amazing! Just the right amount of heat combined with sweetness. I plan to return for the Sunday brunch buffet. Love this place.

If bland had a restaurant outside of a nursing home...this place would be the flagship. Chef's? Not even Marie Calenders would keep them on a payroll to peel carrots for a pot pie. Biggest disappointment in thanksgiving food ever served. Absolutely not worth the money. Thank God McDonalds was open. At least I get what I pay for there!

To start with the good: The dining room is pretty and the dishes were clean. They give you free mini biscuits. Now for everything else: -The waitstaff: passable politeness, but generally uninformed, forgetful, and inattentive. -The food: Middling at best. The servings are fine, but the food isn't worth the price. My party of four got the eggs benedict (undercooked with cold hollandaise), the triple decker club (just came with bread and meat, nothing else), the chicken salad sandwich, and a cheeseburger. When asked about their food, everyone gave about the same response: an unsatisfied "it's alright". -The Bathrooms: not too bad. A little grungy and over-stocked. -The wait: the real reason for the single star. We waited about an ENTIRE HOUR for our food after ordering. The restaurant was pretty full but not bustling. Everything seemed to take at least twice as long as it should have. It didn't seem to be a problem for just us, as we were watching the other tables take the same amount of time. Not at all worth the money. Skip and go straight to the tour if that's why you're around.

We stopped in for Sunday lunch. All smiles turned to frowns as we filled our plates, looked great but, Mississippi famous fried chicken was over cooked and nothing but wings an overcooked legs , the shrimp and noodles would have been great, had they been warm. I belive all of the menu items must have been photo shop, I would not recommend this place. Larry Belcher traveling thru looking for great food but not at the Carriage House Restaurant Added note it was quite pricey.

Been here in 2016 was awesome came back in 2021Thanksgiving buffet both times the food not as good as 2016... And the service was poor at best seemed like we were unwelcomed! So much for southern hospitality especially when on vacation. New owners since 2016? Because in 2016 the people I thought were owners were over welcoming.

What a wonderful experience. Every part was top-notch, great food, great service, and you can't beat the atmosphere. This place comes highly recommended and is one of our best memories on our vacation.

I had really high hopes attending The Carriage House. I heard great things about this place but was rather disappointed upon being seated. Right away I was served with a chipped glass of ice water. It wouldn't have been such a major issue if it was delivered with a straw to sip on. My impression was that this was to be considered a higher-end restaurant and the service was beyond excellent. My visit consisted of neither quality. I ordered a Mint Jolee and yet another chipped glass. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and was not satisfied by the size of the dish. I was with my significant other's family and they had complaints as well. They returned their Mint Jolee cocktail. The busser was well dressed but almost looked like he crawled out of a mine shaft. If he would have shaved or trimmed his facial hair I would have no complaints about it. The menu was priced way too high for the service provided. I'm not sure if I will return but may stop in to see if thing are better on my next trip down. As of now I cannot and will not recommend going to this location.

The service these young waiters showed me was impeccable!! Kind and knowledgeable!! I wish I could say the same for the food and drink. Meal was served Luke warm at best!! Chicken was so dry that I had to drink water with it to swallow!! Bloody Mary was not seasoned at all!! Not the carriage house from 15 yrs ago!!!

Chicken salad sandwich was an egg salad, but was told it was chicken. Entree salad was same size as salad with sandwich, soup, salad special, $10 and served in a saucer size plate. Food was tasteless and over priced.

Menu reads hamburger is house made. Waitress said the burger patty is actually not made in-house. Salad came with ample old and wilted lettuce. The ranch dressing was clearly an institutional product. The biscuits were oddly small (about diameter of a .50 cent piece) dense, old, stoggy, and gummy. They were uncooked and with a doughy collapsed center. The butter was served in a sauce cup with a ring of old melted butter showing it had previously melted and been rechilled. It appears dirty and tasted like a dirty cooler. The catfish was undercooked (raw) and not fresh, crumbling into a slimy puddle. I dont believe it is catfish, and it appears to be the texture and look of swai trying to be passed off as catfish. The fish was still frozen when breaded, thus the breading separating when fried. All the frozen water melting in the frier steamed the breading off. This chef failed at the simplest skills in frying anything. I could not imagine trying their fried chicken. Undercooked foreign fish leads merely to a liver fluke; under cooked chicken can lead to the ER. The tartare sauce, or what they call tartare sauce, is obviously made in-house with either buttermilk or sour cream and resembling nothing like traditional tartare sauce. The only way it is discernable as house-made is because it is so unusually bad that there is no way a commercial producer could ever obtain a distribution deal trting to sell it to restaurants--not in 100 years! No cocktails were available for brunch despite receiving a drink list with the menu. Flies were buzzing around the table, I even killed some with a napkin. See photos. The dining room is old, dated, and musty. The waitress was kind, but the chef looked like a slob. He was on the front-house floor speaking with another guest when we arrived. He appeared to take little pride in his own appearance, so I was not surprised that there was no pride in the food. This place was recommended by a coworker who used to be a member of the garden club. I have to question her judgment on everything she does now. No, seriously, it's one of the worst meals we have ever been served, anywhere in the world. Definitely in the top 5 worst.

Best fried chicken in Louisiana. They have excellent staff, great menu, awesome little biscuits, great desserts and a beautiful venue. If in Natchez, Ms need to stop there for lunch. Reservations may be required.

Best brunch in Natchez! This is actually one of the best brunches I’ve had anywhere! Great variety of breakfast and lunch foods! Tasty mimosas and a nice atmosphere. Wonderful staff. I love the pictures and history that has been preserved there. This is another must-try spot in Natchez. A true “hidden” gem!

Spent a lot of time making up my list of places to go today. This place was supposed to be for an early dinner - unfortunately they are still living in fear of COVID when everything else has already opened back up, so they are only open one day a week and I didn't realize it. A lot of money being lost considering a dozen people stopped by looking for a place to eat and to do the Stanton House tour next door and neither were available.

This was the worst food imaginable and then service was awful. Maybe they were having a bad day? We were a group of 30 people when we got there it seemed they had no idea we were coming. We were sat all over the dining room (not together) and then some people got their food asap and others waited 30/40 mins. The fried chicken was DRY!!! The catfish was dry and had not flavor. Then they said they were bringing dessert as we were about to leave for our tour of the main house. They ran so behind we hardly made it to our tour. Also when served water the glasses were dirty, silverware was dirty. I had food and lip stick on my cup and my fork had lip marks. My mom's glass Also had food stuck to it.

This is just the most quintessential Southern dining experience imaginable! The atmosphere is lovely: it feels like you’ve stepped back into the glamor of the 1950’s. It’s hard to find a dining experience that feels special, but this place fits the bill! The chef greeted us personally and welcomed us not only to his establishment, but to the city. He gave suggestions on what we had to do and see while there. I enjoyed the oysters, and they were divine! My friend got the chicken livers (fried) and my other friend the tomato aspic (how wonderfully vintage) and fried chicken. All of it was just utterly delicious! For us, this is a must see/eat destination when in Natchez!

The carriage house has become one of my favorite restaurants in Natchez. Delicious food, impeccable service and delightful atmosphere. Hats off to the Continental Cook and Carriage House.

I was in natchaz over the weekend for fall pilgrimage (my first time❤️The❤️❤️) The Carriage house was recommended to me by a friend and just had to give it a try and i was so happy and pleased i did ❤️❤️❤️ I ordered the in house burger and WOW.. thick, juicy and amazing the right amount of drippings down the arm lol 😅😅😅 The salad was served on a COLD PLATE... Thank you very much... Nothing puts a damper on a dining experience like eating salad on a hot/warm or room temperature plate.. so thank you carriage house for paying attention to that detail A very wonderful and kind gentleman came from the back ( forgive me for not remembering your name) to make sure we were pleased with our food... It's not everyday or everywhere you get that type of service... So thank you All in all my Natchaz Mississippi experience was an amazing one and the carriage house restaurant made it even better Hope to visit again soon 😊

Prices too high for the amt of food we got. Fried Chicken and biscuits were good.

Elegant looking restaurant with white table cloths, serving expensive frozen, canned food. Pre-breaded chicken fried steak, the mushy green beans had to come from a can, the cook had to cut into my hamburger steak to check the temperature before they sent it out and it was still rare. Covered in canned gravy. The waitress was the best part of out experience.

Love the lunch ! Tomato aspic, tiny biscuits & mayhaw jelly, fried green tomato appetizer w seafood. Known for fried chicken but I usually opt for fish. Nice atmosphere behind Stanton Hall one of the old homes , open for tours. I like browsing the gift shop for heirloom sterling silver pieces. Lots of Garden Club , Pilgrimage history here.

Wasn't impressed. Their menu has changed in the past couple years and it is very limited in choices. They seem understaffed. We used to come here and loved the experience. Now, with the change in menu and hours they are open, we probably won't come here again.
