Very unprofessional and underhanded. Caught a employee in my room twice. Every time we left come back she making a bee line out. I asked what she was doing. She said we can enter a room anytime I said I don't think so. Than today at 10 am my wife and I are getting things back in suitcase and dressing when door flies open. It's the front desk. No knock no call my wife standing there with her breast out. Lady s goes 10 am check out . So I kindly show her on the website 4pm check in and 11am check out. All the help seem to live there also so seems they are casing the guest to steal from. Bad business.

Understanding different chains cater to different customer types with motel 6 being family oriented or for the solo traveler it gives you exactly what's required. Depending on bookings you may be able to okay for mini fridge or microwave or both. Some might have neither. Most of the locations I've visited have a pool and rooms come equipped with A/C and cable TV along with enough outlets to charge your devices. A plus for this location is the proximity of all the stores that are just across either street. They do ask for a deposit but you do get it back. Noisy. The room had an outside light that shined all night into the room. While the hotel was not full, my room was in a dark corner. I attempted to switch rooms however it was cost-prohibitive. After a long day of traveling in the car, through rush hour holiday traffic - it was one more hassle to negotiate a better fitting room. The water pressure wasn't strong enough for me to wash my hair either. It's like camping with an indoor bathroom. Positives: The night staff, maintenance, and the cleaning lady were friendly. It's pet friendly and the location was a good fit for the most part. This is my experience. Maybe yours will be different.

We lucked out and finding this motel during Memorial Day Weekend. By the time we laid down I was sound asleep. Was in a pretty decent area of town so wasn’t too much to worry about. Would stay again if and when my family comes back to the area.

Worst motel and worst experience in my life. Floor and bed are dirty. Dog hair everywhere, under the sheets there's a lot of dog hair and dirt we couldn't sleep cuz we were sneezing all night beds got a lot of pee stain if they looks like house just fix the beds without cleaning them up. Not recommended.

Motel 6 National City from the manager Liz to the staffs Brende & Itati are awesome & amazing people. They have helped me a lot in carrying my luggages upstairs. I had eight luggages and I wasn’t able to do it due to a health condition. The room is very clean. The service is really good. Don’t believe anyone is saying that they will break in your car and steal your belongings. My car is BMW 2022 and was full of 8 luggages that I kept at motel 6 for 4 nights & 4 days, no one broke in or stole my belongings. They do have cameras everywhere. I don’t know about other locations, but this location in National City is safe. The prices are way affordable comparing other Motels/Hotels in the “Very Expensive San Diego County.”

Just wanted to give a shoutout to the Liz the General Manager. When I arrived exhausted, a few hours before check-in, she was able to get me into a room before the stated reservation time so I could rest from a long day of traveling. It was a huge help and and not something she needed to do, but it was no big deal for Liz. Liz and the team also saved me a huge headache. In my rush to leave, I managed to forget to put my laptop in my bag. I hadn't even noticed it was missing yet when I received a call from Liz letting me know she had it and would keep it safe for me until I could come back to pick it up.! The room and location are nothing special, but the service was top notch! I can't thank Liz and her team enough for their incredible hospitality.

Over priced, heater don't work, & they moved me 3 times all 3 didn't work & didn't give my $ back

Room smelt musty, and the rooms have roaches. Black mold was another issue; as well as some AC units do not work, resulting in rooms hotter than the outside.

I couldn't get any of the hotels on hotel circle nor any Airbnb to allow us to check in early I guess place is assume that people only travel and arrive to destinations around 1:00pm to 3:00pm not 1:00 a.m motel 6 was very helpful they got us into a very nice room very accommodating very clean

My mother and I stayed for two nights for work. They took 25 dollars of our 50$ deposit after insisting on paying in cash when we arrived. Our towels were dirty they said. The office is literally stealing money from each guest from their deposit before they are able to leave. Absolutely a disgusting place of business, and anyone looking to get robbed, this is the place to stay.

This Motel 6 is small and in a nice area, quiet and calm at night and lots of restaurants and CVS pharmacy nearby. I stayed 12 days. I had a king bed and the room was clean and comfortable. I liked the microwave and refrigerator. It costs $2 in quarters for the washer and $2 for the dryer. The housekeepers are hard working as are office staff Itati and Liz. They are all wonderful. Itati was especially helpful. I would definitely stay again.

It's really peaceful, wasn't disturbed at all and the room was spacious. Would stay there again if need be.

Girls in the office are extremely friendly. Not happy that the fridge and phone didn't work. Walking distance to a great selection of food and shopping choices. Overall, it's a nice place to stay and will probably make a regular stay while working in the area.

Unequaled customer service at this location. All of the staff is friendly and willing to assist any time of the day or night. Great place to stay.

The floors are dirty, your house keepers did not do a thorough job cleaning.
