This place does a lot of stuff but I am only giving a review for their window tinting. I took my brand new Tesla Model 3 there to get my windows tinted and long story short they cannot do a full rear Tesla window only half of the window, the cuts they made for the corners on the door windows were horrible in my opinion, and the front window was tinted but left marks in the tent that can be annoying for visibility. At the end of the job they also left shavings from the tint in my car and soap on the outside of my car. I took it back a second time and it still was not to my satisfaction. The worst thing to me is that the manager tried to make me feel like I was a perfectionist, but just didn't want to take accountability for work that was not professional. Now he wasn't rude but just couldn't admit that there were a lot of mistakes with the finished product. I don't know about other vehicles, but as far as a Tesla I could not recommend this place for window tinting.

Once more, this place has delivered! Alan, who is the owner is always there taking care of the customers with his crew! 2008 was my first time at the shop. And I’ve stayed there ever since. They’ve worked on all my cars, like 6 so far lol. Plus the friends I have recommended. From wheel and tires, to cat back exhaust systems, stereo upgrades, subwoofer installation, window tints, car alarms, coilovers, HID kits, LEDs, emblem blackouts, etc. Just the few things they have done in my cars lol. Work is always done excellent! Just make sure you give enough time for them to work on your vehicle, sometimes things come up and things may not go as plan, but they always deliver! Thank you guys!

I was looking all over Chula Vista , National City, and San Diego for a reasonable price for window tint and alarm until I found true customs with the best prices. I took my 2002 Camry and I’m loving it. My girlfriend got a new car(Hyundai Sonata) and I had to bring it here for a window tint. Alan gave me a package deal for my car and discount on my girlfriends car. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!! Totally recommend!

0 Stars Alan the owner is nice but thats it. There very friendly because they want your money if they mess up they dont want to take responsibility and when you ask your money back for something they never provide they just go around blaming them selfs but not responding the right way. Customer service is bad they miss-lead you give you different dates just to make you happy but they don’t really know when things will arrive. Also they want to take 35% to restock something they dont have and make you sign papers for you not to write bad reviews Buy it online bring it to them for install you get it cheaper or same price and better warranty on product. Also they drink BEERS on the garage where they work on the cars so be careful they do it during working hrs i notice. Pay cash you dont get tax. And the tint is not as great i did it 2 weeks ago and im starting to have bubbles on it.

Like many others, I dreamed of getting my card modded and customized but did not know where to go or start. With so many shops in the area it can be a little overwhelming on a choice to go. Let me tell you that True Customs is the way to go. Abel and his crew offer a wide variety of services at a fair cost. Abel is the person that helped me and made it super simple for me. I came to him for new rims, new wheels, and a new exhaust and he helped me out quickly and efficiently. Abel helped me select the proper items to make sure it would be the biggest bang for my buck and always melts my best interest in mind. I highly recommend this shop and I will definitely be back to mod my suspension and add some coilovers. Thanks so much for making my experience easy and hassle free.

The tint job I got on my other car 3 years ago is still intact without a single bubble or air pocket. He was also respectful and professionally knowledgeable.

I’m truly am impressed by this shop and it’s owner. After dealing with other shops in the area l that are all connected one way or another, and carry the same ideology, I came across Abel and his shop True Customs. It’s nice to know that there’s still people out here that actually do what they say their gonna do! I got my windows tinted here and price was competitive, but the service was above and beyond, on some next level kinda stuff. I would highly recommend Abel for all your custom needs! I had my window tint taken off on my vehicle , it was getting too bubbly and was not able to see from the back window . I got a quote, and the quote was honored . It didn't take too long to have the work done. The work was great and professionally done .

They’ve always for a great job. only once did we experience an issue with the quality. But, we called them up and they fixed it immediately. No hassle, no excuses. We came in and they fixed the issue, so their service is top notch! Everyone we have worked with is knowledgeable and informative.
