We were told to try the Slippery Mermaid across the street, and there was over an hour wait for the super tiny location. We spotted this across the street and decided to give it a try. You know how they always say things happen for a reason, well this was definitely one of those times! Our server was really nice and very patient with us while we decided exactly what we wanted. She even asked me if I wanted to try Yum Yum sauce on my fried rice telling me it would "enhance my dining experience" and it definitely did, I'm now completely sold on it! She also brought us a couple different dressings for our salad and asked our opinions on which we liked best at the end. Our food came out hot, fresh and very good! My daughter's soup had a fly in it, which kind of stunk, but I know there's nothing they can really do to keep one from flying into the soup once it's in the bowl. We also seen several people drive from across the street to come over. There's a lot of seating inside, prices are great for the area and the food is really good. We will definitely hit this place up again when we are in the area. UPDATE- We were in the area again and wound up visiting for 3 different meals. Service was incredible every time! We were surprised to have a robot bring our food out, but was still checked on by our server. This place will continue to be one of our "must" stops when in the area!

Well what can I say. My picky eating kids ages 15 and 16 said this was one of the best restaurants they have every been too. Our sushi and surf and turf was fantastic. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Our party of 9 had zero complaints. We are from Michigan and wish we had a place like this up north. Our hostess was very attentive and funny and outgoing. Thank you for my wife's special chopsticks. (Lol) please keep up the good food and service we will be back in a couple years. Thank you

I ordered the Sushi Deluxe and sashimi deluxe And the Tuku . Everything was really good. Matt and Kim and my server Kristine were amazing hosts I had an amazing experience I will definitely be back again.

This restaurant was great...a slight five minute wait to be seated but was fully expect by the full parking lot...friendly knowledgeable staff made our dining 🍽 experience even more enjoyable. The Gyuro soup I could have eaten it just as a meal but I had two Crazy Japanese sushi rolls along side which were superb. Ashley had a Avocado and Cucumber roll with chicken stir fry noodles which I kept stealing a bite or 2,3,4. I had a Coke but Ashley said the Purple Rain was great 👍 👌 and yes it was i had a sip from each one of them... Will highly recommend this establishment for a great meal.

We ordered hibachi and sushi. The sushi was good but the inside of the tuna lover roll was overly dry. Hibachi however was not as good and closer to poor. Rice was plain fried rice. Vegetables were not cooked enough and close to raw. But the biggest issue was the cook on the meats. All steaks were ordered medium rare and came out closer to well done. But the biggest offended of the overcook was the scallops. They were insanely over done to the point the outsides were leathery. I would expect more from a hibachi place that is as expensive as here.

Everything was exceptionally delicious, except for the Miso soup it was God awful. You probably shouldn't offer that, you ought to offer something else anything else instead of that. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Went two nights in a row, 2nd night took kids. Loved it. Everyone was extremely friendly. Hibachi show was awesome. Food is very good and drinks are top notch. Definately would recommend.

Family of 5 arrived around 5:15 pm on a Monday evening and got seated immediately. Everyone loved their food! Got the combination fried rice, chicken fried rice, and pineapple chicken bento box. The chicken soup was delicious too! Served our food by a funny little robot which made for a good laugh! Overall good experience!

I visited this restaurant only because the others were closed. We wanted to order sushi, but they couldn't guarantee it would be made on time. We had to choose other dishes instead. The steamed gyoza and shumai were of average quality, poorly cooked and tasted store-bought. The bento box was decent, and the poke bowl was almost great. The ambiance was average, with sticky tables and dirty floors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and our food here! It was delicious and the chef was very talented and entertaining. Fried rice was some of the best I've had; also loved that we got noodles too. We were celebrating our son's 15th birthday while on vacation here and they made it very special. We were happy to also bring home our yummy leftovers!

Me and my son had a quick lunch lunch date today before I picked up his little siblings. We have been here plenty times before with no complaints. BUT TODAY, our server Christy was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet from start to finish. If y'all go eat here, ask for her! You won't be disappointed! Thank you Christy! 😊

My bento box arrived with hot rice but cold shrimp teriyaki. I asked for a reheat and they microwaved the entire box including the slice of fresh watermelon. I actually don't mind the microwave since that means I won't have to wait for new plate, but why leave the watermelon? Anyway, I didn't want new slice of melon and kept eating my food. I didn't finish it because it wasn't even really tasty. I may return to try different dishes. My friend had sushi, which she enjoyed very much.

The food was really good. The robot bringing out the meal was an amusing touch. Every server greeted us and made sure we enjoyed our meal.

The staff at Samurai work hard to provide a top notch experience. The food and services were Amazing, and I especially enjoyed the amount of care the Chefs took that were 'performing" for children! Instead of catering to just the adults, the Chefs made their cooking show kid understandable and even did jokes for some of the kids to figure out.

We had a really nice time, the food was amazing. Some of the best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had, and the sushi was delicious! The staff was great, very polite and accommodating. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Samurai is one of the BEST Japanese Steakhouse & Hibachi Restaurants in the Emerald Coast and at affordable price $. All food is fresh, staff is friendly & well training, clean place, with an Indonesian Sushi Chef that is creative and knowledgeable. The owner of Samurai is always welcoming when she is there. We take our family and friends whom are visiting and always is being a great experience for all. 5✨️

We had a fair experience & food was good. Waitress was nice, but did not understand much English. We ate in the front. The last time we ate in Hibachi area we were very disappointed. We were not able to sit comfortably & were spread apart (family) but sat very close to each other. This time was my daughters birthday. They sent a boat (or fish) made out of Pineapple & oranges. It was quite clever. I took pictures of some of the food, but was an after thought & most of food was gone...
