Rare natural beauty suiting best for the Flamingos for the visit during seasons having natural environment and geographical features. To be explored fully for tourist attraction. But it was seasonal.

Hidden beauty of Navi Mumbai, this place is less spoken about but provides the best view of different migratory birds and especially the Flamingoes. There are many trails you can walk and explore. Sunrise is genuinely beautiful and picturesque. Lot of mosquitoes, so either come in full clothes or carry a pack of Odomos with you. Being in the midst of dense of mangroves cover is such a peaceful experience and the best part is a walkway built in between the mangroves that lights up during the sunrise. At the end of the walkway, you can see the vast creek and the pink gathering of Flamingoes just painting this vast canvas elegantly. Best to reach early morning to avoid the crowd, as you will get the place all to your self to explore and do your photography.

While the hot weather is becoming unbearable day by day, Mumbaikars had a beautiful sight to distract them from the scorching summer. Like every year, migratory birds have flocked to Maharashtra, and a video of flamingos at Navi Mumbai Creek has surfaced online. This time of the year is marked in every tourist's calendar as well as residents so that they do not miss out on the breathtaking sight of the delicate flamingos.

Flamingos come here usually during high tide. Road to this place is newly done with a nice parking for 7/8 cars. Sea water feeding this lake/ wetland is controlled by weir at one end and leave is usually maintained to that of high tide. Birds can not feed on shivadi mud flats during high tide and come here generally to snooze during that period. If you time it properly (wrt high tide time) you can see flocks gliding in, circling and landing gracefully in this lake

Before getting in ensure parking car. Dont park cars on main road. Overall good place for bird watching. Need to check status of low tide or high tide. Different species of bird as per season and tide timing. All internal road are good to walk only.

The important place of Chanakya was previously open to access but as of December 2023 it is restricted to outsiders.

The place is not managed, maintained properly. A good place to see birds but does not have basic facilities like a proper place for multiple people for a view, no restrooms...

It is really nice to explore the nature and it is mesmerizing to watch the birds making noise and some group of flamingos makes landing in group wise as well as they fly away in groups ....One group at a time....Worth watching it....
