Maaya Bar & Lounge

This was totally surprising for us, somehow we dint know this exists and we have never been here. This was our first time and the best experience. Everything we tried was at it's best. Fish were fresh, curry tested better than other hotels of Mangalore itself, Thai green curry was yummy, majjige Dosa was new for us and we loved it. This is undoubtedly the place to have the best food. But yes, you need to have patience, as they cook fresh

In my observation, usually the restaurants that serve non veg food doesn't serve nice Veg food. But the food here is very very tasty, especially one must try Veg Kasturi Dry, Thai Curry, and Spicy Guava mocktail. The staff here are very friendly. Must visit place if you are looking for tasty delicious food with your family and friends. The ambience is also very good and interiors are very aesthetic.

I really can say this is one of the best restaurant opened in Shimoga. They served best dishes. I tried Manchow soup and I was not really expecting that great taste. It's a must try. Paneer Tikka was also fine and roti curry were delicious too. The mocktails were served beautifully filled with deliciousness. We'll try the cocktail menu in my next visit. Staff are very well behaved and people friendly and wait time is also not long.

Food was very tasty and good quantity. The service was too good. Expensive dishes though. Had Neer Dosa, prawn ghee roast, chicken Pulimanch, fresh juices, silver rava fry.

A must-visit place! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They took such good care of us, and I highly recommend this place to anyone. The ambience, food, and service are truly the best in Shimoga compared to other restaurants. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team — you helped us so much, especially by assisting with our baby so we could enjoy our meal comfortably. It was heartwarming to experience such lovely and thoughtful service. So grateful to have met such wonderful people in Shimoga!

Overall , can give it 5/5 for its ambience , food and stuff .. we travelled all the way from Bangalore for official work and had booked a nearby place where we found a surprise . Service was perfect.. majjige dose is special

Had a really good experience at Maya Restaurant. The ambience is cozy, warm, and very relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. The food was well-prepared and flavourful, with everything tasting just right. Overall, a comfortable place to chill, enjoy good food, and spend quality time with friends. Tried chicken tikka & tandoori, chicken biryani, lemon chicken, and ended with gulab jamun + ice cream — everything was apt, perfect place to chill and booze. Definitely worth visiting!

Food okay, not that great. Service excellent. Ambiance super to hang out. Music is enjoyable, but being in karnataka, please play kannada Musician Middle. I ordered long island ice tea cost : 450. I'm very much disappointed they only mixed coke, nothing else in that... but must visit place. Please improve...²

My experience at Maaya bar and lounge was absolutely delightful! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who ensured we had a comfortable dining experience throughout. The ambiance was charming and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends and family. The food served was flavourful and definitely recommend the dragon chicken and chicken ghee roast.
