The view from the room of the sunset was great. That was the nicest thing about the place. The front desk was not so helpful or cordial. It was alright for one night but I didn't extend the room.

Services are worst and the food is terrifying the best thing is the clean room and bathroom go for the hotel better then another hotels but don't buy food from them, eat outside local food

We stayed at this hotel for one night and had an amazing experience. The hotel staff was accommodating and gave us a family suite, instead of two separate rooms. The food service was excellent and prompt. The following day we had guests over, and the staff was kind enough to clean the rooms and help us set it up. The staff was not just professional but also very caring. The rooms were in excellent condition. Would highly recommend to others as well. As a bonus, the hotel's decor makes will give the guests excellent chance to click insta-worthy pictures.

Rooms are neatly maintained, Service is good. Near to most of the city attractions like Rock Garden, Sukhana lake etc. Overall pleasant stay.

rooms are very comfortable, location perfectly near to rock garden sukhana lake n many things around 3 to 8 klms, just one they have to notice that they don't have any ventilation in toilet, so if someone uesd the toilet then smell all over the room.

We were late for our check-in at the hotel and were tired with all the travel and delayed flights but the staff at front desk was very efficient and prompt in accelerating the check-in. The gentleman Sanjay accommodated all the requirements and helped us with the check in. The additional amenities asked were also promptly delivered. The room was fabulous- nice decor, super comfy, clean and tidy with a fully stacked mini bar, clean and cozy bathrooms and a nice king sized bed. The breakfast buffet was satiating and delicious at the same time. The staff was extremely courteous, prompt and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again whenever I can.

Best hotel in tricity it's next to PGI and PEC. We spend 3 nights with family. Awesome hospitality budget hotel. Front office staff very cooperative and helpful.All the services are available including food, laundry etc. Room was clean including bed sheets and pillow covers which attracts most post entry.

Very good hotel. People are very good Services are also up to mark Even though the location is somewhat deep inside chandigarh in the village known as nayagaon but yeah not that far away. It's just 6-8 minutes drive from PGI sector 15. All staff is cooperative Food is good Budget friendly hotel Buffet option is also there. Price can be negotiable, depending how you deal with the receptionist. Rest, overall a good experience

Not so Hygenic rooms.. Had trouble with House flies & Mosquitoes in the room when we checked in.. Saw the same environment in other rooms too. Hence we were feared to even try the Complementary breakfast there. No Hot water available.. Room service guy (Goldie) was pathetic. Otherwise spacious rooms. Can be much better.

I have never visited this hotel but the outer look of this hotel is really amazing, it looks very costly, second thing it falls on my way to home.

1 star for the rooms the staff is horrible. the location of the hotel is also not that great. it is surrounded by a very filthy market around it and IT IS NOT IN CHANDIGARH so please don't book if you are planning to visit Chandigarh. the people at the reception are horrible. you can't order food from outside and they will not keep any hot water kettle in your room and if you call for tea before 8 am, they won't serve you and upon asking they shout at you and say these are the rules we can't help it. food is also pathetic so all in all I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. so this is in reply to the owner. 1. Even after such an horrible experience we tipped your staff who was helped us to unload and load our luggages , both during check in and check out. 2. the person at the reception deserves that behaviour we had towards him because he doesn't understand how to deal with customers. I explained him that my parents are diabetic and needs to take their medication at 7 am and need to eat something with it. if the hotel can't do this, you all need to shut it down. 3. for the towel point, I won't say any because I don't need to defend myself , but you can go on as you don't have any points to defend yourself.

Not so good.. smelly blanket. Claustrophobic rooms. Also bed with breakfast, they played it well … one dish per person is your breakfast. Location is good, rest all is below average.

Overall the staff was good but one person who was at the reception was extremely rude. Did not know how to speak at all. Any interaction I had with him would boil my blood. The rooms were OK - nothing like a 3 star hotel like they call themselves. I've stayed at cheaper hotels that have better and cleaner rooms. The good reviews on this one aren't true - I went by them to make the booking. Big mistake. Response to the owner's reply: How come your hotel reviews for everyone who has negative comments for your hotel are the same? Honestly, big mistake giving you even 2 stars - learn to accept faults and learn from it to grow. Such shallow behaviour from the owner is not expected. Hope you will learn :)

Worst service ever The room was not cleaned even though we checked in late evening. They did not even call us for checking enquiry. Service guys made us cry as they were not replying and waited us for several minuses. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The utmost worst experience in all ways. Room was full of honeybees and insects and also wasrhoom is in pathetic condition. Atleast tap is not in proper working condition. Very very bad service too. Location is also too bad and road to reach hotel is also very bad. Only positive thing is it is just 4km from rock garden, sukhana lake etc.

Had a great experience. Saw some bad reviews just a day before coming to Chandigarh and I was a little hesitant thinking whether I have booked the right hotel or not. However, as soon as I entered the room, I realised that I've booked the right place. Thank you Hotel The Yellow for making my stay memorable.

I stayed here for a week. Situated 45 min by road from a chandigarh airport. Rooms are not so big.But ok for 1-2 people stay. You will not get complimentary breakfast,you have to book room with breakfast. It cost me around 1500 rs per day. Safe for solo woman travel.You will get auto from hotel easily. To travel around city you can book ola ,uber also. Near places from this are Rock garden, sukhna lake.Food is good.view outside hotel is not much great but ok to stay. Daily room service staff clean your room. They don't provide you toothbrush, toothpaste, soap .Even for water you have to ask them every time. Rate is little bit higher than other ordinary hotel. We spoken with local auto and cab people they also said at cheaper rate you will get same facilities in other hotels. So if you are planning for chandigarh try other hotel if you are getting at lesser price. Yes even we know thr r different types room. But rooms r smaller as compared to price. Yes I called for toothbrush and paste kit but the person on call said you have to pay for it.Hotel owner should look after this.Even in my package written free mineral water .once they said me that I have to pay for it.

The rooms are clean, hygenic, affordable. The hotel has own parking space.. and services are also good. I have been staying at this hotel for last 4 years and i have stayed for more than 10 times. It's my go to hotel whenever i come to chandigarh. The owners are extremely polite and nice..they take responsibility for every possible mistake the hotel staff could make. Food is also good if you make them clear what exactly you want in your food. On average my experience has always been good and convinient. I'll surely reccommend you this hotel if you are looking for good facilities in your budget.

Nothing like the pictures! Rude staff, dirty room (literally had to change our bed sheets a couple of times until she finally found a clean bed sheet for us, which also had many holes). All the rooms around us had some sort of loud party inside the room late at night (didn't seem like bad luck). Room sizes are good. But this is more of a use and go hotel for unmarried couples, not recommended for familes.
