Went in for a cocktail this evening (01/01/23). My partner and I sat outside as we had our dog with us. I went in and got the menu and went back in to place our order. One staff member walked straight past me and ignored me clearly waiting for assistance. Another lady came and took my order, I went back out to wait and 20mins later we walked out because they had spent 10 minutes serving other people (the same table of both staff) and then they started cleaning and there was no sign of our drinks.

The hotel spa is very small, the parking lot is, well, just a piece of abandoned land away from the hotel, and the breakfast was understaffed. The rooms are ok. It doesn't deserve the 4 star hotel rating.

Great location, helpful staff. I downgraded because the spa was closed for renovation, which should have been stated on their website before booking. The beds were pretty hard, pillows too soft

Great location. Away from the crazy busy area of Nazare but close enough to walk to the great locations. Food was perfect. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

After beeing here in Portugal for almost 2.5 weeks this was probably my least favorite hotel. The rooms were good, the views were good, pool and beach nearby, breakfast included, pool table to play, many resturants near by, and the list goes on. The bathrooms are a joke here constantly holding on to the dirty sink button to get water flowing or else it shuts off right away. Toilet paper comes in napkin form, square sheets. We asked for a third bed to be made and 3+ hours later they still never made it. We found hairs in our food as well. We found a dead bird by the pool. I can name a couple other things but you get the picture. If you are coming to Nazaré for a couple days then it's fine but if your staying for a week or two definitely look somewhere else. It's not all that bad of a hotel but could definitely use some fixes.

Good views, nice pool, breakfast included, and so on. Upscale charge on using pool table, drinks, etc. Our bed was not made when asked, dead birds near pool, it's not the greatest hotel in area but does the job.

The staff are amazing here! The hotel is old and needs new carpet badly. It also sits on a hill and had NO parking nor is it for those who have a disability. Stair entrance without rails. They don't state that in their advertisement, so you're literally pulling your suitcase up a hill on cobblestone.

Price for room durning off season is reasonable. Some of the staff have been friendly, others would make me refrain from booking ever again. The food in the restaurant has been great, the food at breakfast has been average

Room was ok, spa is not well equipped, not really setup as relaxing, very hot in the area and not well organized, not soap in shower area or water. Building needs repair, carpet. Beds are hard, not comfortable at all. Staff were responsive to requests. I would not stay here again.

Our room had a gorgeous view over the pool toward the beach and the fort. Arriving during high season in August means the pool and breakfast areas were filled with children and families. Last minute massage bookings were not possible due to availability. The advertised free parking is street parking and, although we needed to occasionally circle, we were always able to find a space. The walk to the beach is 10-15 minutes. Our room had a comfy bed, good water pressure and nice air conditioning. Thanks for a nice stay.

I liked the presentations very much that the octopus shrimp squid is being made into a presentation of its very nice shapes other than that, the appetizers that come extra on the table should not be extra price in my opinion, except for these the taste is nice I went out alone and ate myself and I think you can choose it alone with your friends

Nice hotel with fantastic view over Nazaré and it’s beaches. It’s very quite with a great breakfast. Walk down to Nazaré center takes 20min -

This is nowhere close to a 4 star hotel. The room is old, crumbling and dated. The AC spits out dust, the shower leaks, the dinner service (and just service in general) is over priced/under whelming and parking is about 200 meters away uphill over cobblestone street. I would not have a problem with these things if the hotel is rated 2 stars but not as a 4 star. The best parts of the hotel are the views. Unfortunately, I stayed in 6 different hotels during my time in Portugal and this was by far my worst experience.

A minimum hotel. Everything that is offered is at the bare minimum. One small bottle of water. Paper cups. No air conditioning. Room is small but clean. A two star hotel. The front desk person was super nice. Lastly the hotel is 18 minutes walk to the beach. Coming back is all up hill.

Had a great stay for 3 nights. Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and efficient. Good breakfast. Very clean. Spacious room with a great view. Good hotel for chilling by the pool with views of the beach. Only downside was that the hotel is a little dated, and I had a bad Mojito. Be prepared for a big climb back from the town. Not reasons not to stay. Would recommend.

Thank you Miramar for a great stay! We stayed there for 2 nights and it was amazing! We had one of the apartments- It was spacious for 2 adults/2kids (8 & 11 years old), clean, comfortable and we had all basic necessities. The balcony was AMAZING with a beautiful view of the city and the ocean!! There is no parking at the hotel but it was easy to find. You do need to drive down the hill to access all restaurants/ boardwalk and beach. Was perfect for me and my family and I recommend it! We will definitely be back!

We were given a room with no sea view, just a disappointing view to the next building. I didn't feel welcome there, although the staff were nice enough. The room could be cleaner. Nice bathroom. The spa is good. Overall, a rather mediocre accommodation.

It's not on the center but it's not difficult to get there. Parking can be tricky, but you should be ok (if it's not high season, at least). The room was nice and the staff is very friendly. The spa was relaxing and has a bunch of water features. But it's not a very big space, so on the summer time I think it can get pretty packed. There is also a pool table and the lady at the front desk is awesome! If I ever come back to Nazaré, I know where I'll be staying!

Booked our stay here to enjoy the indoor pool, (winter time) however when we arrived we were informed that pregnant ladies cannot even enter the indoor swimming area because of the high temperatures. I'm glad they are looking out for their guests safety but There is no information about this on their website about this.. we wouldn't have gone there had we known. Also don't forget to bring your swim cap in Portugal. The room was okay. Carpets had lots of stains. There is a super bright light on the air conditioner that lit the whole room during the night. Finding parking nearby is a bit tricky at night. You would have to walk a bit to get to any points of interest without a car. Breakfast was nice with a great view. Staff was friendly.

At a first glance the hotel looks nice and cozy, however I'll let you know the review of one night there (in March). 1. The main lights of our room (113) didn't work, we had to find our way with the bedside lamps; 2. The air conditioner was fixed at 20C, and I swear we've tried everything, but no way to set it to a different temperature; 3. Despite the AC being at a relatively low temperature, the room was extremely hot. I guess it has electric radiant heating under the carpet, and no way to turn it off; 4. There's absolutely no parking around or at the hotel facilities; 5. And the most surprising one... We woke up surrounded by Nazaré's wildlife. Our bed, bedside table and floor were crowded with ants. Yes, ants! I don't know where they came from, but a closer inspection revealed that the carpet had a full community of them. Maybe in summer you guys have better luck. Above all, avoid room 113!

Rooms that need a hudge renovation. But nice if you want to stay in Nazaré to be always outside.

Very nice hotel, bit hard beds because they are new. 2 swimming pools. From the rooms and Balcony you have a beautiful view. The minifridge is not cooling well. The restaurant is spacious and breakfast is good. In the evening the restaurant serves steaks which are good but not all options might be available when there are few people in the hotel.
