Firstly, the scenery is incredible!!! Siting outside with the water next to you, boats passing you, feels like you're in a movie. The views are incredible. When I visited, it was during the Fifa world cup so the atmosphere was really good with all the soccer supporters. The staff was friendly and kind when I switched seats, my waitress was really understanding. I ordered the chicken wings and chocolate mousse cake, it was phenomenal to say the least. So good!!! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience

Great spot and lovely views from the deck of the Kowie River. Inside, nice and comfortable with big screen TVs and leather coaches.

Really enjoyed our early supper here. We had the nachos pizza (without chicken) and stuffed butternut. Both meals were really good, especially the nachos pizza, which was quite unique. We sat outside under the shaded area and had amazing views of the houses on the water and rowing teams practicing. Really great ambiance around sunset. Our waiter Dean was excellent, friendly, and very attentive. Pricing was also very reasonable.

The go to place in Port Alfred if you want to try their impressive range of craft beers - they have a lot - and are available to order off a tasting board so you can pick your favourite. The view is 5/5, weather dependent though if you want to sit and watch the boozy boat cruises go by. If you enjoy people watching, this is the place for you. Decor is modern and comfortable, bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. The only disappointment was the food. Boy was I eager to dig in when my seafood platter came, as it looked mouth watering. That’s where it ends folks. The prawns were over cooked and tasteless. The fish was undercooked. The mussels were in a weird sort of salt brine (if I wanted that I would have gone to pick n pay and gotten a tin) The calamari was okay, but honestly the best thing on the plate was the chips. My dad had a burger and he said it was pretty good but then again he eats anything.

A very relaxing spot from day to night. Super nice view of the water. Not expensive either,if you're on a budget. (Pitty I didn't take pictures of my food) My partner is still obsessed over that "FOKOF" beer🍺 πŸ“ŒDeffs recommend

Great restaurant. Prices are good but not value for money. Their pizzas were really nice and they have some very good specials almost everyday. The staff were very friendly and food came out quickly and was very tasty !

I was really disappointed with the food at Tash's. When I placed my fish and chips order, I made a point of asking what fish it was and whether it was fresh fish. She assured me that it was. My fish was not fresh. The flesh was not flakey and white, but dense, off white and dry. If she had been honest, I would have ordered something else instead. I resented paying for my meal that was misrepresented. The outlook and position of Tash's is fantastic, but do not order the fish.

I felt the large room with an extra large bar lacked the intimate atmosphere that is conducive to people interacting and sharing lives, but having said that the bar was really well stocked. We had dogs and were allowed to sit on the deck with them providing they were on a leash, as we spend our lives hunting down pet-friendly establishments this was great. The deck overlooked the marino, vΓ©ry peaceful. The comfortable lounge suites on the deck that replaced your usual wooden table and chairs, were a welcome change from traditional bar restaurants. We just had a drink, a bit slow to serve but the menu looked inviting and the prices were fair. Next time.

Beautiful views all round, service was great and food excellent. Had breakfast and lunch both meals were great. Everything is made from scratch so freshness and flavour is great. I will definitely be back for more.

Honestly it's a very nice place especially for Port Alfred. I won't lie though all the cocktail wasn't as interesting as I would have liked they blended the mint and I felt like I needed to be strained but there was another cocktail that my cousin that the time had that was pretty good. And after waiting about 40 minutes the Food came and I didn't have a chance to actually take a photo because my battery was flat and I was extremely hungry. Definitely something to try if you're in the area and looking for a place in Port Alfred there aren't that many restaurants that would be considered nice but it's definitely more of a sports bar.

Service is slow...I recommend that you don't go hungry or be in a rush to get somewhere. Breakfast is good, great pub music with lovely view of Kowie river.

Amazing Atmosphere, my husband and I loved that they had so many different games you could pick from to play, we played dominoes while waiting for our food as a starter we had the blue cheese escargot it was absolutely fantastic! For mains my husband had the chicken schnitzel with veg, it was scrumptious apart from the chicken being a little dry so next time we will ask for a little more sauce. I had the Bacon and Prawn salad so tasty. The service was so so good we are very impressed and will be reoccurring customers.

First time we've been back in 2 years. Phenomenal improvement in service and atmosphere. Well done to management. All food looked great. We had burgers. Highly recommended. Good variety of tap beers all reasonably priced .

Rather slow service. I ordered a cappuccino and received a latte. The faded sign out front kinda sums it up. The upside, though, is the pleasant waterfront setting.

Stunning setting and I imagine that when it's full it must have quite a vibe. But the staff were utterly disinterested. We barely got a welcome, got told we could choose a table and in fairness did then get a menu after about 10 minutes. But fifteen minutes later we decided to leave... there were some tables enjoying themselves and the food sounded good though not cheap, but the staff playing on their cell phones at the reception (as we left) confirmed why we hadn't seen service, and barely noticed us go. We'll try it again sometime maybe, but not out of season.

Great place to have drinks in port alfred! The waiters are really friendly and make the stay magnificent. Really amazing place to have a cocktail in the evening. Also nice to come during the day and enjoy some of their snacks and just enjoy the view of the kowie river. Love coming here and the waiters are always checking if you’re good and have everything you desire. They also have games available for a fun night! Love coming back

We arrived just as the restaurant opened, the eggs bene was so delicious. Our kids loved the milkshakes, comfortable coaches and we all enjoyed the view.

Gosh, supper left a lot to be desired for. After trying most if the items on the sea food menu, I can most definitely say that the chef would benefit from a trip to Durban. The build you own board idea is so enticing but execution was such a let down

Well located restaurant. The interior design is lacking and the food, although appealing in appearance, was not well prepared. My fish was undercooked, so it was sent back to be cooked to completion. It took a while for the food to be returned so we decided to leave. As we were leaving the food arrived in a take away container. It took so long because they had prepared a new piece of fish, but this one was very oily (which we only discovered having arrived home). As we were driving away, someone came out and asked for our number so that we could be given a food voucher as compensation, however, we never received it. I think that it was a once off situation. I get the impression that they can do so much better, but that they had an off day. Management should just be a bit more on top of things so that mistakes are dealt with swiftly and professionally. PS: I did receive the food voucher later the next day.

Went during the week when it wasn't busy and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Our waitress was kind, prompt and attentive. The surf and turf is an excellent, well rounded meal, the steak was a nice thick cut and the calamari was tender and crispy. The view over the Harbour was enjoyable and pleasant. Overall it Tash's is a good spot, especially for a lazy dog when it isn't busy, with excellent food and a wide selection of cocktails/shooters/wine etc.
