The Anglican church in Bathurst is the church of St John the Evangelist, it is a church with a long and interesting history. The worshippers at this church are mainly from the village of Bathurst and the surrounding farming community. What a beautiful historic building with the most beautiful gardens. The premises are well taken care of. Very friendly staff who were busy cleaning graves and looking after the gardens very well. I'm a big fan of historical places, and this are one of the 1st church buildings in Bathurst. it's peaceful and quiet and well worth the visit when in Bathurst. Parking are secure and entrance to the premises are very good. No wheelchair access tho. Just loved the visit!!!

What a beautiful piece of history. This church has the oldest tomb stones I have ever seen. The building is still in excellent condition and the property is well maintained. It’s comforting to see historical buildings like this still taken care of. Well done and thank you to everyone who has contributed to the upkeep for this national monument.
