It is a very nice and beautiful Modern Airport. A drive through the Chichele Forest is breathtaking. After the toll gates coming from Kitwe it's about 4 km turn to your left in a tarred road somewhere into Chichele forest follow up the road 🛣️🛣️, coming from Ndola Central Business District, get to Kitwe Road, drive with caution and with extra care the road can be busy at times with heavy trucks carrying copper, goods, dangerous goods heading into Congo DR. Along your drive you have an opportunity to view Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Zesco training Sch, newly build flats on the opposite, Twapia meaning "we are burnt" Township. Keep right in the inner lane you don't want to bypass or miss the turn to your right at the junction into Chichele forest leading you to the airport. at Avic you are able to see a view of the beautiful Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe international Airport, Standard, Morden, smart+, there's shops, both domestic and international derpature lounges, a prayer room, book shops, restauran, snack bars, liquor open stores, cafeteria, information desk. Staff are always welcoming and friendly, customer service is good 👍👍👍. Airport staff, airlines staff very good customer service always ready to go an extra mile. We have an uncompleted transit hotel within the Airport Premises, if traveling out of Zambia, international or regional flights please go upstairs, you can actually drive right at the entrance into the check-in document verification counters. Still on international flights yes, Please get to the airport 3 hours before your flight departures, say your flight ✈️✈️✈️ leaves at 13:10hrs be at the Airport as early as 10:00hrs Incase you are doing your last minute errands for home or your trip the latest you can be at counters check-in is 11:30hrs just in case they are ques at counters you bit the time of closures by 12:00hrs, 13:10hrs the flight should be 🛫🛫 airborne. So we have Air Tanzania, Ethiopian Airlines, Airlink to JNB South Africa, Kenya Airways, Proflight to JNB South Africa. enjoy your Flight ✈️✈️ out. Domestic flights Check - in is down stairs Proflight to Lusaka, MNS Mansa on certain days, Zambia Airways to Lusaka, also Solwezi certain days. Please be at Airport as early as, an hour Thirty minutes before your flight departures 🛫🛫🛫🛫 airborne, you don't want to be late, 30mins to departure time the counters close for pre - departure documentions, All flights have offices right within the airport for ticketing for last minute changes on your travels, tickets, upgrades and operations. Except for Kenya Airways, their ticketing office is at Rekays shopping complex right in Ndola town. The road to the Airport is being done and upgraded yeah 👍👍👍

Big upgrade from the one within town...looks well organised too!

Much much better than the previous one, it would be even better if it is located closer to Kitwe, which is the second largest city in the country.

The reception was great, found friendly soldiers at the gate. The bar is very spacious and neat too. Though I didn’t taste the food but the place is nice.

This was my first time being at the Ndola airport since it was built. The thing that impressed me the most was how organized everything seemingly was. Well labeled and thought out. It was easy to get to my gate and move from one point to the next… and the added bonus for me were the aesthetics design wise.

This is the a very beautiful airport and one of the best in Zambia if not the best

If u see current，u definitely will not want to go back to past. Hope the international plane will land ASAP.

Please, Can Somebody Tell "Google Maps" That This Airport Has Moved Addresses?! The "Copperbelt International Airport" On Their Map Is Now Named "Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport" & The Old Address Is Now Named The "Peter Zuze Air Force Base"!

Lovely infrastructure, still relatively new though lacking in atmosphere presently - functional. The road leading up to the airport is not yet fully tarred, which unfortunately takes away from the experience of using the airport

I have a serious concern and I know alot of other people experience this. BEGGING by NAC employees at the airport is very uncomfortable. They literally will follow you asking for money without shame. There's one man in particular who is a thorn called Mr Ken. Kindly look into this matter because its embarrassing and quite irritating to be honest. I am a frequent traveller and I dread going to the airport because I'll be forced to part with money. Pay your employees as NAC please

The airport building is OK on the inside but the roads heading there are terrible. May improve in future as there's a lot of construction going all over the place.

Nice and clean. Except the scarlet oak coffee place. It can take more than an hour for getting a capuccino. Seriously!
