Espresso has very smooth, mild and creamy taste and bitter after taste. Aroma stays long after in mouth. And very cozy relaxed place.

We visited the outdoor equipment store close to this place. We decided to get some fresh beans grinded for our aeropress. They made it happen even though it didn’t seem like an every day request for them. Really liked atmosphere in this street corner (we were able to enjoy our tee and coffee on the street).

Coffees are great but cakes are pretty plain. The service is also very nice, and spoke English when I visited there. Only cash is accepted.

This cafe just encapsulates the coziness that Freiburg can offer you any time of the year. Great espresso based drinks, even the Americano has a great filter-coffee like consistency. Ideal to have quick or extended coffee sessions with friends during sommer by the porch. Also very suitable for rainy day blues inside with the stove. Cash payment is not possible. Pro tip: go visit the owner's other cafe (cafe bedda) in Vauban for even more

A favorite of the many cafés in Freiburg. Their coffee is great and the staff are very friendly. Usually it's pretty crowded but you can always find a spot.
