More of a get drunk spot with ok food than a nice restaurant or wine bar. Still - unlike other spots in Cochem - a small (bottled) local wine selection was available. Flammkuchen appeared to be convenience product. No credit cards. Service was friendly but didn’t appear to be experienced. Some staff were neither fluent in German or English. Not an authentic experience.
Good Atmosphäre. Great Decoration. The food was good. We order schnitzel. The meat was freshly made but the only potatoes on the plate with a ready made sauce. The price was not so good. But the plate on my photos with the 1 potato 🥔 the price was 12.90€. the service was friendly most of the time from the girl. I don't think it is a place for locals.
The place is fun and the food tasty! Our server was quick and kind and had us eating in no time! Even though the decor is over the top (which I enjoy) the vibe was moody and comfortable, especially when they turned off the bright lights and we ate under dim (but you can still see!) lighting.
Location is good, it is just across to the river. We ordered something like pizza but a thinner. i dont remember its name but taste was ok. Atmosphere is really good we liked it and personel was also polite. However, we found it a bit expensive. We gave 9 euro for a bottle of still water!!
We went here because I really wanted Sweinehaxe and they had this. I am not an Haxe expert, but I think a German would give it 2 stars haha. But for me it was okey, they don't have good Haxe around here in any restaurant. Prices are nice though and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere inside... 20€ for a Haxe, 12€ for a Schnitzel.
Quick service, not pleasant however. The food was good, not great! The beer was cold and the vibe rowdy. I liked it, but wouldn’t pick it if I had other options
The atmosphere and location was very nice. The servers were very attentive. The food was very good, usually I’m very picky with steaks and the one I got here was amazing. I think is overpriced for the portions but besides that.. I didn’t had any complains. We are a family with a toddler and we had been turned away because some restaurants are not kid friendly, but I really appreciate how we were treated today.
We ordered steak, flammkuchen and a beer and ice tea. Only the beer, ice tea and flammkuchen were given. Flammkuchen was alright. But after waiting 45 minutes, the 2 waitresses were ignoring us constantly, the steak was apparently not on the order and one of the waitress ignored my friend while saying what we ordered. They even asked some American guys a table further what they had ordered while it was paid. We immediately paid (were not helped or asked how it was by the waitress) and immediately left. She didn't even say goodbye or anything.... If service could have been a 0 I would have done that. Never trust this place for service or actually getting second drinks or food.....
