There are absolutely no direction boards or landmarks per say for guidance. You will have to ask the locals and figure your way out. There are multiple ways to enter the waterfall area. Some people might offer guidance but you can ignore that. The roads are decent. I wish the tourism department had kept proper boards and still ensure it's not spoilt by tourists. Beautiful place nevertheless. 😊

This is a Serine Forest area. This place is a land of Endemic and Endangered Wildlife of Western Ghats. This falls under Kollengode Forest Range of Nenmara Forest division. This place is not recommended for Family members or nature lovers as it is not a place of paradise. This place is used by anti-social people and found all kind of anti social Activities like alcoholism and associated activities. No control over this. Resulting death of many people. Forest, Police,Excise departments has to work here jointly to make it a Eco-friendly Tourism destination.

Not a good place at all. I recommend better not to go there. It's inside forest area. There are warning boards installed by forest department banning trespassing. Some people came with liqour, which is obviously wrong in a place like that. No parking area. The road is also pathetic.

Ecstatic to visit here on hot day and cool yourself in the waterfall. Beautiful place to chill with less crowd.

Really its one of beautyfull spot in Palakkad. Collengode village already famous in natural site seeing. We went at morning really it's inside the forest no sun light very cold area we can go inside Waterfall and take bath low depth so kids also can play. Car parking pay and food will get fresh village style meals. Veg I will prefer.. It's good site at least visit once in a life..

A place where you can enjoy the full beauty of Palakkad... Paddy fields spread out as far as the eye can see... Mantops... Roads bordered by blackberries... The delightful sight of Sahya...
