I never really post negative comments. but, i have to. I have been traveling throughout the world, i was lucky to ski in most of the biggest ski resort in the world, i'm not gonna lie, 115$ for a day pass at whitewater is a scam. compared to RED close by and their installation the road isn't paved all the way, how do you get an ambulance up and down fast ? no service, how do you meet up with your family/friend/other. not mentioning the security if you need to call for help? i do agree that it's cool to have a little resort in such remote place, though, we should all go down to the ground, we are talking about 3 lifts, very slow often having to queue in line. Oh and most of the slopes are LITERALLY the exact same face of the mountain but 3 trees away from each other. How can you claim it to have that many slopes/piste when you are mostly going in the trees and that cost you nothing to maintain. ski is a business i am very familiar with it. those prices do not reflect the quality of the resort let's please stay humble. i'm a bit disappointed. sorry if the words are hard

I guess some who live in mountains, remain a little out of touch with reality. Much appreciation to Whitewater Mountain for their concerns for people's safety. Some people confuse freedom of choice with "segregation". You are free to decide to be vaccinated or not...just like Whitewater management can choose to run their business safely. Go or not. Your segregation is self-imposed.

Great ski hill in such an amazing little community. Powder was unbelievable. Small town vibe, with that big mountain feel. Came for the powder, stayed for the good times and happy people. 10/10 will return.

Some of the best Resort powder you can find in BC, I recommend WH20 to anyone who enjoys a small town ski hill that is still focused on skiing and not charging ridiculous prices. Unlike other resorts in the Kootenays WH20 has not become a β€œcorporate” hill solely focused on making money.

On the wrong side of history. This company is choosing to take part in segregation and discrimination. They will be held accountable for the choices they are making.

An incredible local gem, Whitewater has super friendly feeling, like your at a small town festival. I wasn't able to get to the whole hill: there are three chairs, one was open because it was very early in the season. However, the lift tickets were discounted because of this. Chairs are fast, and staff are super friendly. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back when all the runs are open!

This was my first time at white water and it was pretty decent. The food on the other hand was exceptional! The snow is decent due to the relatively high elevation however was pretty skied out due to the lack of snow leading up to us doing our day trip, however if there is a powder day and a good snow base is present this would be a fun hill to spend the whole day and have a blast! All in all a good trip and the ticket price was not outrageous.

What an awesome little hidden gem of a hill, we LOVED Whitewater! They are a smaller resort with big terrain slowly building up their lifts to high-speed and other developments. As it stands, it is an authentic ski resort with one good, solid, rustic lodge containing all of the services you might need. Excellent parking system, attendants out there helping neatly line everyone up. The lifts are quick and easy to access, the ticket prices are excellent, a really pretty spot in a secluded valley of the mountains, and well-planned use of the very diverse terrain. The shallower slope to the east is used mainly for beginners with mostly green runs, and gentle blue runs with some simple glades for people to build their skills. The big ridge to the west has awesome front and backside skiing just for blue and black skiers. We loved the back and spent almost our entire day there. Beautiful, deep powder, fun tree glades that competent blue skiers can handle and enjoy, and a cute little lodge with a wood-burning stove and some lunch items near the back-side lift line. Apparently last year they only had portable washrooms and a food truck, so they are developing the backside bit by bit! The food was alright here, not amazing, but in fairness it is a really tiny kitchen. We didn't try the main lodge's food, which is supposedly excellent and under the guidance of a master chef. We will absolutely be back to Whitewater, one of our favourite hills to date!

Great skiing. The chair lifts have seen better days but overall a very nice experience. Terrific food at the lodge.

It's absolutely amazing. Food in the lodge is well priced and delicious! The mountains a blast to ride whichever side you pick!

We love skiing here! It's a lovely little lodge that feels more like an epic backcountry lodge. We've never seen the guestrooms but I imagine they're quaint and cosy. The terrain is fun with lots of glades and fun drops. Some slack country and touring to be had as well!

Small, friendly lots of great skiing for more advanced skiers. We liked it as not fancy or so crazy busy with mad lines. Low key vibe.

Great skiing! I took a tumble on the hill and ski patrol were amazing. Thank you to Ben and the other lovely fella with the mustache for taking me down the mountain on a sled and for looking after me so well!

Hidden gem of a hill. Fun terrain for only three lifts. Rustic vibes, never had to wait in line for too long. Not too many groomed runs, not good for a beginner but excellent for anyone that has some experience.

The positives- Fun slopes. No line up. Great people. Negatives- Terrible signage to show the runs. Where are they? Really! Huge dips, or hidden jumps on a blue run that is a ski out and it was merging suddenly with another run. Really! The lodge smells like a bag of stinky boys soiled socks. The carpet was gross!

Awesome little ski resort. Only has 3 chairs but they access and impressive amount of terrain. The snow is light and fluffy and slack country there is great. Highly recommend trying the food at the day lodge, not your standard resort food

Old school feel, great terrain but needs chair upgrades

The skiing is great. We were there in late December and it was really good snow. The terrain is really fun with lots of natural jumps. The lodge is nice. There's good food and a microwave if you brought your open lunch. There's also a place to store you stuff for the day if you don't want to carry around a backpack. Buying the lift ticket was quite slow. Not sure why. So if you're antsy, show up a bit earlier to get your lift ticket.

I had heard good things... Ended up being extremely impressed with the terrain, lodge, lifts, and especially the food. Really world class food at this resort. And the snow was crazy. We have about 60cm right when we got there, which made for some great skiing. The best part was probably how reasonable the crowds and lines were.

We spent two weeks skiing here. Staff were amazing. The terrain both groomed and off piste are varied and plentiful. Food in the cafe is restaurant quality and plenty of variety and options for varied dietary requirements. I cannot rate the field the staff and the whole experience highly enough.

Excellent resort to get the legs ready for Kootnay back country! Have not hit the backside of Whitewater yet, but it is rumored to be pretty amazing.
