Went skiing today with my family had had some of my best runs ever until the Grey chair broke down and left us stuck for over an hour. We lost half of our ski day and only received a $10 voucher. Not super impressed with paying full price for 4 runs and little to no compensation. The ski patrol was so great and helpful so 2 stars for that.

Best place I ever snowboarded at. Can’t say enough. 2 bedroom condo. Heated floor full kitchen hot tub on balcony steam shower. Nicely decorated. Lift tickets are affordable. The mountain is mostly glades and wooded back country, but there’s something for everyone. Not a lot of people. Small base area. But there’s over 4000 acres to ski at. 3 full mountains and one severed by 10 dollar cat skiing. It’s not a big corporate ski area. People are so friendly. And then there’s the Canadian exchange rate. Use the free snow host program. They’ll take you up for a couple of hours and show you the area by ability.

The snowboarding was super rad! Amazing snow and variety of runs. Not crowded but the lifts run slow. Takes 2 to get to the top of a couple of peaks (20-30min from base to summit). Would be awesome if they had a high speed lift or gondola. The hours are shorter than any other resort I've been to by at least an hour. Bummed because I wanted to keep shredding.

Staff is mega friendly and everyone has a very relaxed attitude on the hill. Great terrain, lots to enjoy for all ages and abilities. Interesting out of bounds areas to explore.

We had a fabulous time! The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and there are a lot of different trails to choose from of all different levels. I do wish the lifts were a bit faster, but other than that this place is perfect! Little to no lines and lots of time I was the only person on a run! Parking was easy.

Nice hotel overall, but there is a lot of construction going on around it right now. There is also very little parking and the parking that is available is basically on gravel and rocks. If you want to park underground they want $20.00 a day which is ridiculous given what is going on outside.

This mountain is an absolute dream we stayed at red for a week. Rossland is a beautiful little town also. the only down fall I would have to say with the hill is food options at the resort. Some vegan options would be great, you don't always want to cook after a long day of skiing. I posted a few we made in our condo

Nice resort but the chairs are horrible! They are all fixed grip chairs so they don’t slow down when loading or unloading and then they take sooo long to get to the top. It feels like I’m spending more time on lifts than actually skiing. Otherwise, there’s good terrain, diverse runs, so not bad at all.

A lot of space for everybody to spread out overall not a very busy hill in high season. Accommodations are reasonable in the village, and Rossland is 10 minutes away with all amenities. The cat skiing for 10$ per ride on top of your lift ticket is nice addition that you can’t get at most other mountains. Unfortunately it was a low snow fall season in Jan 2019 and the temperature was above 0 in the sun so it didn’t make for ideal conditions. Would love to return when there’s more snow.

Exceeded my expectations! Great skiing, great food and beverages, and very welcoming facilities for skiing. Loved the trails for fatbiking and hiking traveling from Red Resort to Rossland.

Red Mountain is one of the Top 10 Ski Resorts for a very good reason. There are lots of fun, long runs and chairlifts for every level of skiing/snowboarding. You get an amazing view once you're at the top of the mountains. The staff is great and always have smiles on their faces. The lodge is cozy and warm, and has mouth-watering food. There is also a shop at the resort with awesome merchandise. And, there is multiple cozy hotels that come with fireplaces and hot tubs. Can't wait until skiing season starts! ⛷❄

Love this hill. Some much acreage. Lifts and staff are slow but who cares, part of the experience. We landed on a Pow day so it's hard to ski all day and hard to complain when you're getting freshies all day long.

My home ski hill for over 30yrs now. Fantastic mountains, can ski 360 on 2 of them. Can get busy if a powder day but everyone disperses quite quickly.

We had new snow and a great mid week trip to red mountain. Lifts are slow but that means limited people trashing your fresh powder. Great tree skiing.

Awesome mountains! Something for everyone. Final week of the season the snow conditions held. Soft but very skiable. Upper mountain the snow was perfect for cruising. Great on mountain options for breaks and lunch. Very friendly place. Helpful guests providing advice on where to ski next. Can't wait for our next trip here.

Great Mountain, wonderful staff. The skiable area is massive for a mountain that maintains it's "old school feel". Lots of advanced and steep terrain which can be hard to find. Don't miss out on "The Rafters" bar upstairs for some cool apre ski experience

Fantastic resort. Great terrain. Cat to take you out further. Quiet resort, so dont expect to party much if that's what you're looking for. Only downside are the lifts a bit slow. I can't wait to go back though.

Awesome mountain with so much terrain to pick from and very quiet. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Not many lifts - 5 chairs of the non detachable variety.. But it gives you access to large variety of runs esp if into skiing trees. Not so much for the beginner plenty for intermediate esp for advanced/expert skier. Accommodation at the lift area or 4 - 5 km down the hill at Rossland with free shuttle each half hour am pm then hourly during the day.

Awesome for summer hiking. The trail to the top of red mountain is well marked, well maintained and diverse. It starts in tall, dense forest and progresses through stages and peekaboo views to the summit with panoramic views. In July the wildflowers are amazing! The trails are also mountain bike trails, seemingly a well-respected sharing.

👍👍 Take the tour, it is well worth it if you are looking to gain some knowledge of the area. Would be helpful to read some quick notes on the founding of Trail and Rossland, but not necessary. 2 to 4 hours min depending on your curiosity. The tour includes a gold pan sluse for your enjoyment. Real gol...
