We came to live in the entrance next to this wonderful bar/restaurant in Nerja. Don't be fooled by its small size, the food and service are very good. We ate Escaplope Milanese and it was the best we ate in Nerja, it was high quality and cooked to a high standard. Unfortunately, we have to wait until September before we get to meet "Maggie" and her husband who runs the place again, then there will be more lunches and dinners.

We very much enjoy the food and hospitality at this small, husband and wife, Italian bar restaurant. My favourite (so far) is the Pasta Siciliana, made with bucatini - a flavourful and generous serving, very tasty and satisfying ๐Ÿคค The namesake dish, ossobuco, requires notice and it is definitely on our must try list for the near future. Lovely people, fantastic food, we can highly recommend this perfect little jewel ๐Ÿค—

Just off the Main Street of touristy restaurants in downtown Nerja, this place is delicious and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The Ossobuco was amazing with the saffron risotto maybe being the best risotto I have ever had. Burrata salad and limoncello dessert were great as well.

Fantastic service, so welcoming and friendly. The food was top quality and I would highly recommend this restaurant. I had the veal with mushrooms and my wife had a pasta dish. Great home cooked feel to the food

My wife and I ate at L'ossobuco often over our 3 month winter stay. It was a new arrival since our last visit and turned out to be a a wonderful find . A proper family run authentic Italian restaurant with arround 12 / 14 covers inside. It was also adjacent to our apartment so morning coffee or a nightcap were also quite: frequent ' ๐Ÿ˜‰ Maggie is front of house and a more welcoming and friendly personality you will not meet. She speaks several languages and loves to chat. I feel we became real friends. Vincenzo is the chef. The Pasta is fresh, the ingredients are freshly prepared and his results are mouthwatering. My wife and I cannot recommend this little gem enough and we wish Maggie and Vincenzo every success. You could do much worse than book L:ossobuco.

We always loved authentic Italian food, simple local and fresh local produce, prepared to order. We ate in so many different places in Italy, from the North to the South, including Sicily and every region offered some fantastic food and was always made with pride. Vincenzo and his wife Maggie openend this little Italian gem in Nerja and we believe that real Italian food lovers should just book a table and taste Vincenzoโ€™s honest Italian, homemade food and enjoy Maggieโ€™s personal service. Nothing coming out of his kitchen is of the often average, even low quality โ€œtouristโ€ food we see served everywhere in Nerja. His food is made with the love and passion it deserves and we know from Italy. His risotto Ossobucu, a signature dish is to die for ( make sure to pre order it) His scalopini, homemade pastas, polenta and gnocchi are to die for. Besides one other Italian restaurant we love this little gem and itโ€™s owners quickly became our favorites. We live in the area for 14 years and kissed many frogs in Nerja. This restaurant is definitely not one of them. Try and hopefully love it like we do. โค๏ธThey should call it a restaurant not a bar because it deserves the label!

Delicious classical Italian dishes from all the regions! Great wines. The best of all are the extremely friendly and social owners who create a perfect atmosphere. Would highly recommend to go here! (My Italian partner loved the food as well, a true taste of home)

Ate here tonight, had the tagliatelle with prawns, it was one of the tastiest dishes I've had in a long time. The Burrata was a lovely starter and the tiramisu was delicious. Friendly service as well. Thank you!

This was the best meal that we have had in Nerja, (and weโ€™ve had lots). The osso buco is just superb. Itโ€™s worth the half hour wait while they cook the risotto. The service was very good and very friendly. We booked on the way out for same. We returned 2 weeks later and the osso buco was as perfect as on the first visit. This is Italian home cooking at itโ€™s best, and very good value for money. Unfortunately we now have to go home so it will be a while before we can return, but, Maggy you can be assured we will, and we will do our best to spread the word. Thanks to you both for a great eating experience and for your wonderful service and attention to detail. You deserve to do well.
