This restaurant is near the apartment we stayed in while vacationing in Nerja, Spain. It is in a strip of 4 restaurants next to a beautiful plaza overlooking the Mediterranean and Playa Torrecilla. It is Italian cuisine and is VERY good. Excellent starters and main courses, and also a nice list of cocktails and wines. The service was top notch. You should definitely make a reservation. They get very busy! It is well worth it to eat here!

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good service, delicious food and perfect drinks and reasonable prices. Here you have you need to have a pleasant dinner in a restaurant. We enjoyed a lot. The starter “grilled provolone cheese” was superb.

Had dinner at this restaurant tonight - superb meal. We had slow cooked beef and sea bass followed by two excellent desserts. If in Nerja, do not miss La Bottega - amazing food, reasonable prices and very helpful staff.

First visit to La Bottega was in 2018. It is in my mind one of the best restaurants in Nerja. The food has consistent good quality, the staff is attentive and lovely.

Had to book ahead, it's a very popular restaurant and for good reason! Amazing food and service, a really special place. Starter, main and shared the dessert. Lovely Albarino wine. Waiter was excellent, friendly and good humoured. Love the Provolone cheese starter with rosemary, simple but very tasty. My partner had the Gambas, which were excellent. Lovely mains Sea Bream and Bass fresh and cooked perfectly. Must visit!

We always have a great time at La Bottega. The food is amazing, the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is just right even when the restaurant is busy. The menu has something for everyone including vegans and vegetarians, and there’s an impressive wine list with plenty of choice. Highly recommend!

A great dining experience👏. Food was delicious-we had the Pil Pil prawns, croquettes, and the seafood soup for Starters. The beef fillet, and the special Wagyu plate were amazing. We finished with the Tiramisu and Tarta Manzana. And the red Sangria was generous with fruits.

Our first time visiting this restaurant after being recommended to us by family and it did not disappoint. The food, service and atmosphere are all exceptional. In particular we loved the croquettes and tuna. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of Albariño. The staff were lovely and attentive. Overall, loved our experience here and will definitely come back!

Attentive staff, lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced and thr most amazing, fresh tasty food. We ate here 2 out of 3 nights but need to book in advance. 1st night we shared and selection of starters and 2nd night I had the special....beef cheeks tagliatelle...It was gorgeous....would also recommend the goats cheese and pear salad 🥗

We stayed in Nerja for 5 weeks from February into late March 2022 and had the pleasure of dining here twice. Hands down, it’s a phenomenal dining experience! The food, wine, service, location and facility is top notch. I was offered a delicious wine from Galicia called The Orange Revolution. It was delicious …excellent recommendation! The servings are perfect and I cannot describe the deliciousness….you have to try it for yourself. The truffle mushroom pasta is to die for! See you next winter but for 8 weeks and more lunches at La Bottega!

We had a fabulous family dinner while the sun went down. Couldn't be happier with the service, extremely knowledgeable waiters and very friendly with great banter! The food was amazing, starters are very large, recommend sharing 1 between 2 if having a main as well. All meals were top class, tasty and presented really nicely. Highly recommend the 'silencio' red wine - recommended by our amazing waiter and did not disappoint. Cocktails were also really well presented and so well made. We will go again before we leave !

Really nice restaurant , staff friendly . Served tapas of tuna and mayo vol au vent . Partner had steak with potatoes, daughter had tagliatelle with mushroom and truffle sauce, I chose the slow cooked pulled beef in red wine sauce. Dessert I had catalan cream and partner and daughter chose crumble with custard. All the food was presented beautifully, all tasted delicious couldn't have asked for better. Definitely go back.

Stunning food. So worth it if you are in Nerja. Be sure to book in advance. Our waiter was so fun and attentive! I didn't catch his name but he worked in Dublin before and had some Irish phrases for us! 👏 We will definitely be returning.

Delicious dishes. Not your typical Italian. I was surprised by the items in the menu. They not only offer the typical Italian sauces (carbonara, bolognesa, etc), but also others created in house. I especially liked the pasta with boar meat...yummy! The waiter was super kind and the place had a calm, chill atmosphere.

I still love to think back about La Bottega. It’s probably the nicest restaurant there is in Nerja. A great location - close to the sea. Super friendly waiters and most importantly amazing food! We ordered a vegetarian burger and got a free starter on top. The burger itself was very good but also very big! What really got our attention was the starter we shared - the crostini with 3 dips. The bread was roasted and so delicious. The hummus and guacamole were so good and also there was a lot, we finished the dips without bread. We would 100% come back all the time.

Absolutely lovely place! Staff are really friendly and helpful and THE FOOD is just wow! So delicious and definitely the best place we ate while we were in Nerja! you will not regret coming here!

Best restaurant that we have visited in Nerja. I had an Angus Entrecôte, my wife had a Caesar Salad and we shared a side dish with grilled bread with Humus, Tomato Salsa and Guacamole. All was absolutely perfect. We will definitely come again. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely incredible place, the food wine and service we just perfect. We had the lobster starter, and wild boar pasta, and fresh calamari. Each dish was perfectly cooked and the quality was out of this world. Thanks to the chef and amazing staff!

10/10 food and service. Can never fault. The lobster special pasta was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. Cocktails are also fabulous. We were never made to feel rushed out, nothing was too much! Our waiter was attentive and knew everything about the menu. A must try restaurant!

I had the best seafood soup here, it was packed with flavour and sea food. I also had a 10oz Wagyu 48 day dry aged striploin. I will be back here again

Really good food, went there with high expectations but wasn't as good as could have been. Goats cheese salad was excellent, Calamari was ok. Had the pork with home made chimichurri, pork was cooked great but chimichurri had no sharpness and used dried herbs with left a woody texture. Staff very attentive and pleasant. Wine was very good. Lovely dining room, nearly on the street with good atmosphere. Clean toilets.
