Very nice location. Lots of bar, pub, restaurant 10 minute by walk. Also tram line 12 on the door, M1 near by 5 min. Nice and clean, wc & shower common. Also there is common kitchen. Floor a little bit noisey, cause its wood i guess buts its okey for me. İf you are looking for silince, street is a little bit noisy at weekends. İ like it i'll be there again. Peace.

A very cosy, hipster-y place. For a very reasonable price you get a nice, small room, shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen, which you can use so long as the front desk is open (they close it when they leave). A lovely bonus - past guests like to leave some foodstuffs for 'communal' usage - such as for example a giant jar of Nutella we found and happily partook in during our visit. You can also get free maps, books, games, tea and conversation. A lovely place altogether, in a lovely location.

Für den Preis eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft. Ich fühle mich hier bei jeden Besuch wohl und sicher. Die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer geht für mich für den Preis in Ordnung - man kann eben nicht alles haben für den kleinen Taler :) Badezimmer werden oft gereinigt und sind daher immer angenehm zu nutzen. Die Mitarbeitenden waren jedes Mal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich komme immer gerne wieder.

Ich habe ein Zimmer für meine Eltern gebucht, die bei uns zu Besuch waren. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und der Empfang war sehr freundlich bzw. haben wir viel gelacht. So macht unterkommen Spaß. Gerne empfehle ich Euch jeder Zeit weiter.

Happy with how cosy the private rooms are, I think the bathrooms were also excellent. Beds comfy, everything really clean. Location is wonderful. Only thing I will say is that the floors are really creaky meaning that I got woken up a few times by people walking around outside, and there's a lot of noise from the street outside. Otherwise a brilliant experience and will be happy to return

Not good for light sleepers, you can hear the train running and people talking outside even when windows closed; moreover, the floor makes noise when anyone walks. But overall a great place to stay, great location, clean bed supplies, functional bathroom and basically everything a person needs for staying a few days. Will visit again if I ever come back to Berlin.

Unfortunately not the best hostel experience, which I made here. The rooms do not have any heaters, so that you might freeze. The reception is only occupied until 6 pm. Another big disadvantage is, is that there is just one power outlet within the whole room. The garbage in the kitchen was not disposed by time so that the container were overfilled. In total there are too little restrooms/shower cabins for the whole floor. Would probably prefer another place to sleep next time.

Each time we visit Berlin, we keep coming back to the Old Town Hostel. The location is great, all sorts of facilities and wonderful restaurants at your doorstep. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and clean, the kitchen is so very convenient. Quality-price ratio is excellent.

Great location, easily accessible, not far away from the city centre, cleanliness was not absolutely up to the mark, I would've preferred cleaner sheets. A bit outside our budget for a hostel (we were on a student budget) but still would recommend the place for sure. :)

Great location close to Schönhausse Alee S+U with good access to central Berlin. The hostel is basic but very clean and comfortable at reasonable prices with really friendly staff.

Very nice location. The rooms are fine although a bit thin-walled. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was also quite accomodating.

Old building not renovated, the room was gloomy and the hotel is really noisy (you can hear every single step). Only positive points: the location is good and the bathrooms and toilets are clean. Definitely too expensive for what it is!

I'm staying here for a month and the people here are very nice and even if the kitchen its small you will find it easy to cook.Normal prices and close to Alexander platz but there is slow wifi and no laundry

Pretty great. Location, ease of access, and quality of room was beyond reproach. The staff are multi-lingual, relaxed and attentive. Breakfast room is a DIY affair with a large communal fridge. There is a cute dining area and a small living room. The atmosphere is very nice and you could do.a lot worse in Berlin. The prices were reasonable and the room was very clean.

The stay was lovely. Over all expectations. The rooms were clean and had white, clean bedsheets. The bathrooms was clean too, and there was more than enough of them, meaning we never had to wait in line. It is a nice neighbourhood, and not far from Alexander Platz, museums and other places of interest. However, what really made our stay was the staff. He was so helpful and nice. Always in a good mood. He even helped us with the confirmation to the next hostel. We really recommend this place, and if we go to Berlin again, this is where we’ll stay. Great value for money.

Everything was very clean. There was enough towels for 3 people and the kitchen was equipped in all the needed cutlery and tea. Great localisation for this price.

Great hostel in Berlin. The room and bathroom were clean and the neighbourhood is not as busy as the centre. We really appreciate joint kitchen and sitting room, which were really nice!

I walked in this place while looking for a sign bed. But only they don't have forms at all but also the receptionist didn't know where one of the next sbahn is and didn't even bother to Google to help me (my phone was dead) and sent me the wrong direction. shame

Very nice hostel in a very good location in Berlin. Short walking distance to metro. The staff was nice and helpful. This place is quiet and clean. Higly recommended!

We had a really good time here. You can find the essential things necessary to a not demanding traveler. Nice and cozy. I'd suggest this hostel to young people.

We have just checked out. Hostel is nice, clean room, good facility, many toilets and bathroom. In the room should have a lighter lamp. Kitchen is good to cook your local food. Love this hostel and will comeback

Unser Aufenthalt im Old Town Hostel war super. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Lage ist Klasse. Sollte ich nochmal nach Berlin reisen werde ich sicherlich wiederkommen.
