Dreischluchtenwanderung war wunderschön. Wetter optimal. Pech hatte ich beim loslaufen da hatte ich eine singende Schulklasse vor mir, aber in deren Alter wäre ich vermutlich auch so unterwegs gewesen. Abstandhalten und die Schlucht entdecken. Leider nur eine Wasseramsel gesehen aber kein Bild bekommen. Hat sich gelohnt. Festes Schuhwerk sollte schon sein.

Die Wutachschlucht ist ein extrem beeindruckendes Natur-Spektakel im Schwarzwald und ein Must-See für Wander-Fans! Sehr toller Blick unterwegs auf wunderschöne und vielfältige Natur, unglaubliche Felsformationen, Wasserfall, mehrere Steigungen mit toller Aussicht über die gesamte Schlucht. Einfach genial! Die Wanderwege sind großteils gut ausgebaut, durch umgestürzte Bäume allerdings teils abenteuerlich, eine Holzbrücke war auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Einige Stellen zudem anspruchsvoll und nicht gerade ungefährlich aufgrund von Höhe und Absturzgefahr. Tiere und Kinder würde ich hier nicht mitnehmen, aber ist wie immer jedem selbst überlassen. Sehr gut besucht, es kommen viele Touristen entgegen, man muss an einigen Stellen warten um sich gegenseitig passieren lassen zu können. Der Zugang zur Schlucht ist an mehreren Stellen möglich, es gibt verschiedene Parkplätze für Touristen. Was ich auch noch anmerken möchte ist das man schon gute Kondition haben sollte, die Wege sind teils anspruchsvoll und steil, zudem lang. Wer hier Hilfe braucht kann unter Umständen an Stellen feststecken an denen man 1 oder sogar 2 Stunden brauchen würde um dort hin zu kommen. Wir sind insgesamt über 5 Stunden gewandert an dem Tag und haben nicht mal die gesamte Schlucht geschafft, es ist nur an wenigen Stellen möglich aus der Schlucht zu kommen, daher sollte ein Besuch gut geplant sein und nicht zu spät erfolgen!

The Wutach River is a great stage for hikes and offers beautiful scenery for the eyes. Make sure to select a hike that follows the river closely to avoid public roads (I dislike asphalt during hikes and if you're not careful you can spend a lot of time on these in this area), this will allow you to make the most of the wonderful flora in the area. Don't forget to dress properly (good hiking shoes of category B at least are especially welcome) and bring enough water, as some of the hikes can be quite challenging.

Wunderschön, wir haben zwei schluchten bzw. Klamm bewandert und einen panorama Pfad gewählt. Die erste klamm war die Lotenbachklamm, die war echt schön und leicht zu wandern. Danach sind wir weiter über einen Panoramaweg, der sich ebenfalls lohnt, mit traumhaft schönem Blick. Danach sind wir die Wutachschlucht gewandert, die etwas anspruchsvoller war. Am Ende waren wir direkt an einer Gaststätte wo wir eingekehrt sind. Die Rundtour hat ca. 3 Stunden in Anspruch genommen.

The information we found was very confusing and we weren't sure if it's a good idea for our group (ages 5 to 80). We started at Schattenmühle, an entry with information sign. There are endless paths you can take different lengths and difficulty. It is possible to start with one and continue to another. There is a bus that goes through the parking zones along the gorge so you can enjoy the hike and then take the bus back. We were planning on doing path number 5, which is an eight km circular one, from Schattenmühle to Lotenbachklamm then to Boll, Tiefentall and back. However, we started at the opposite direction and after 1.4 km we got to the next parking. Since we were a big group with snow walkers we decided to take the bus to Boll (skip about 3km of hiking) and continue from there to ehem. Bad Boll, and back to Schattenmühle. It was great decision. We hiked for 5 km all together, and it took us about 5 hours, coinciding the 5 and 80 years old, the stops we did at the river, we were happy. The path can be slippery but usually not to difficult to pass. The parts we did were mostly on the shade so it wasn't too hot, and there are real gems alone the way. Bring enough water!

Worth doing this trail! We went for the loop and it was very nice!

Nice walk did a few km on it, actually about 15 km walk and enjoyed it really well, was a pleasant visit and the right conditions to walk.

Die Wutachschlucht lässt sich gut durchwandern, mit einigen Steigungen. Aber es lohnt sich. Wir waren 14 km unterwegs unt haben ca. 4 1/2 Std. gebraucht. Etwas Proviant und genug zu trinken ist wichtig.

Um diese Jahreszeit absolut zu empfehlen (Ende April) noch nicht soviel Betrieb in der Schlucht. Mit viel Glück sieht man Feuersalamander!! Gutes Schuhwerk nicht vergessen!!! Wenn es geregnet hat sehr viele Matsch und glatte Stellen!!

Ein wunderbarer Ort um zu wandern und die Natur zu genießen. Um alles zu sehen und zu bewundern braucht man viel Zeit. Die Wege sind oft sehr schmal, steil und schwer zu begehen.

Beautiful place with great hiking options. Unfortunately it is usually quite busy and some hikers seem to not respect nature as you see here and there trash laying on the ground. Please guy's when you go for a walk or hike in nature make sure you leave everything as it should be and don't litter. This ensures that our kids and grand kids can enjoy lovely places like the Wutachschlucht.

Trek? With children? This is the place to be. The trek is quite away from the river itself although you can go close to the river on several locations. Standard path's ascent and descents are not that steep. After a long trek time to wind down and do the debrief at Schattenmühle restaurant

Excellent hiking direction, the way through the gorge is about 13 km one way, there are buses connected to the corresponding parking lots. Beware the path in the middle of the gorge is quite steep and climbs pretty high above the water.

Wir sind an der Schattenmühle gestartet und sind bis zum ehem.Bad Boll gelaufen. Ca 4km hin und diese dann auch zurück. Der Weg ist nicht zu unterschätzen. Festes Schuhwerk von Vorteil. Uns hats gefallen... vielleicht suchen wir uns noch mal eine andere Route aus.

Die Wutachschlucht ist eines der Highlights im Schwarzwald. Mit dem Wohnmobil ist es schwierig einen guten Ausgangspunkt zu finden. Auch sind nur die Hauptwanderwege gut ausgeschildert, was für uns ein Problem darstellte und wir uns zu guter letzt noch richtig verlaufen haben. Auch muss man ein wenig Kondition mitbringen, da die Wege Schmal und gut besucht sind, wodurch man nicht so schnell voran gekommen ist.

I like this gorge because it's relaxible. Water streaming always nearby. The husband at the end of the trail. Sometimes you take your eyes up and you see the wrecks wall and it's amazing

It’s a very rewarding hike for how easy it is! There isn’t a lot of elevation and we did see many families with kids and even dogs, but at the same time it’s an exciting trail, very naturey, beautiful views, cliffs surrounding you and several waterfalls. It’s not a strenuous trail but I would definitely recommend hiking shoes as it can be VERY slippery and the terrain is quite uneven.

Excellent hike! We started at Schattenmuhle parking lot and followed the trail and signs to Wutachmuhle that traverses the length of the gorge. This direction is also easier as the elevation descends. Once at the end, we grabbed a small bite while waiting for the 7344 bus to take us back to the lot. It took us 4hrs to cover 14km.
