Nice craft beer and cool environment with in and outdoor seats. On Sundays the atmosphere is great.

Great small brewery with standard German pils, Kellerbier, and Hefeweizen. The beer is good and the location is nice. Plenty of seating indoor and in the summer there is a nice outdoor seating area with sand. We enjoy many different kinds of beer so after a few beers it is time to move to a brewery with a bigger selection. That said, if you are happy with traditional German beer you may find this place good enough to stay longer. We found the staff uninterested and, seemingly, bored so we didn’t like how we were treated by the staff. There are many great breweries in Friedrichshain so Privatbrauerei Schalander should think about improving their service in our opinion.

Nice location and outside space in the summer. That being said, we left with a bitter taste as the staff and owner were unprofessional, treating us without a minimum level of customer respect (no answer when asking for something, then just replying "nein" multiple times in a row when asked if there is an issue with us).

The latest sunspot in RAW and really good beers. Nice brewery and ok prices for being more than just a bar. The ever present smell of Flammkuchen makes you super hungry, so either have one or eat before you go!

Beer is tasty (brewed in-house), and both the inside and the Garten are super nice. One of our favorite spots to grab a pint after bouldering and watch the sun set.

Visited here on brewery tour and was so good we had to come back to get more. Super fresh beer!!
