Been here 3 nights out of 5 already this week. They have been very accommodating with menu translation and general conversation. The service and food is great. The beer is as always in Germany fantastic!

Even in Hamburg there aren't too many places which offers such variety of craft beer and tasty food. The service is friendly and open to your suggestions. Definitely a favourite.

Favorite bar in Norderstedt, great beer, great Tapas. Paul best Server. Nuff said.

Face it, Germans and jokes are not always a good combination. Being a proper German restaurant this place doesn't joke about two cornerstones of Germany: Beer and Pork!! They are serious and you'll know it as soon as you taste their food. I had a perfect pale ale, and a brilliant pork dish. Really, this place does serve excellent meals, at very reasonable prices. Tasty, balanced, .. it was excellent. Highly recommended!

It's a great place to stay for a few (more) beers. It's clever to reserve a table in advance, cos otherwise it's difficult to get one at the late evening. The homemade beers tastes very good, and so do the others as well. If you're hungry, the menu will offer also salads, spare ribs, burger etc. The prices are OK, therefore the service personal (the Boss in particular, such a lovely guy) is good, friendly and polite.

Great place with a huge choice of craft beers, some of which are their own brew and are actually rather nice! I had the Niederhofen Pils (own brew) and enjoyed it! Table service is great and the staff are all multilingual.

This a go-to place whenever you are within the Norderstedt area. The place can get crowded early into the night, but that only speaks how good this place is. The pommes frites are really good (must be sweet potatoes) and the pizza. I'd do away from the tapas, but that's just me (that now defunct Portuguese restaurant in Hamburg really did set the bar high for tapas). Excellent beer selection, of course.

I recently visited Hamburg and stumbled upon this gem of a bar. This place had it all - a fantastic selection of beers, delicious food, and a great atmosphere that made for a perfect night out. Upon entering the bar, I was struck by the rustic decor and cozy ambiance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and my party was quickly seated and handed menus. The beer selection was impressive, with an extensive list of craft beers from local breweries as well as international favorites. I tried the house beer, which was great and it was so good that I had to order a second. But the beer was only half the story: the food was equally outstanding. The menu featured classic German dishes with a modern twist, and each dish was expertly prepared and presented. I ordered the pork schnitzel, which was crispy and flavorful, and the accompanying sides were perfectly cooked and seasoned. One of the best things about the place was the atmosphere: it was laid-back and convivial, with a mix of locals and tourists enjoying their meals and drinks. Even though the bar was busy, the noise level was never overwhelming, and my party was able to have a pleasant conversation throughout the night. In summary, if you're looking for a great bar and restaurant in Hamburg that has it all - fantastic beer, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere - then this is the place for you. It's definitely worth a visit, and I'm already planning my next trip back.

Very friendly and professional staff and some of the best beer I've had yet.

Well worth the trip out to Norderstedt. The place was booked out but we were able to get a seat at the bar. The food was first class. Other people's plates were very tempting too The beers were good.
