Free admission. Very easy to get to from Berlin Hbf. Large concentration camp, very informative on both the employees and detainees, and some engaging videos, storylines, and case studies. Worth the trip. I recommend to go in the Morning to beat the crowd!

Touching place filled with emotions, free entry.

Not a pleasant place to be in. But it grounds you. Lends perspective to your life. The physical buildings and mementos often didn't move me, even though I wanted to be. But the audio visual guides, and peoples' testimonials did.

If you saw and liked the movie “The Boy and the Striped Pajamas” you need to visit this place.

The Soviet part of the Sachsenhausen camp has a unique story of its own, and must not be forgotten when visiting. The cross resembling the mass grave site nearby provides a haunting reminder to visitors.

Historical place!

Must visit once for a clear perspective on life.

Sachsenhausen is known more for the murders of Jews and eastern European victims. However however there was also a mas murder of Soviet POW's here, in equally appalling circumstances. This sombre monument stands in the middle of the concentration camp, and should be visited when coming here.
