On the one hand there is the comfortable route with different heights of barrier-free terrain of 2.5 km in length in the middle of the countryside. The path leads directly along the water and has numerous natural entrances into the lake, which is very clean. The parking lot is free and you can always find a place for your car, even with heavy traffic. The number of visitors is very dependent on the day, time and weather and varies greatly. There is a barbecue area and lots of benches. You can mostly find joggers, dog owners and families with children. Depending on the season, anglers can also be found there, so keep your eyes open and be considerate. The lake is an ideal destination for dog owners. Lots of space, lots of green, lots of water, lots of conspecifics. The only disadvantage: due to the sometimes irresponsible other dog owners, you have to grow a thick coat. This beautiful idyll is therefore not for very young, insecure or fragile dogs. Also unpleasant is the rubbish that the party people leave there on the weekend ... Unfortunately, the old boathouse with jetty was demolished last year (see photo) and the new one just doesn't have the same charm, understandable but a shame. Der Weg führt direkt am Wasser entlang und hat zahlreiche naturbelassene Einstiege in den See, der sehr sauber ist. Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos und man findet auch bei starker Frequentierung immer ein Plätzchen für's Auto. Der Besucherandrang ist sehr abhängig von Tag, Uhrzeit und Wetter und schwankt stark. Es gibt einen Grillplatz und viele Bänke. Anzutreffen sind zumeist Jogger, Hundehalter und Familien mit Kindern. Saisonabhängig sind auch Angler dort anzutreffen, also entsprechend die Augen aufhalten und Rücksicht nehmen. Für Hundehalter ist der See als Ausflugsziel ideal. Viel Platz, viel Grün, viel Wasser, viele Artgenossen. Einziger Nachteil: aufgrund zum Teil verantwortungsloser anderer Hundehalter muss man sich ein dickes Fell wachsen lassen. Dieses schöne Idyll ist daher nichts für sehr junge, unsichere oder zerbrechliche Hunde. Unangenehm ist auch der Müll, den das Partyvolk am Wochenende dort hinterlässt... Leider wurde im vergangenen Jahr das alte Bootshaus mit Steg abgerissen (siehe Foto) und das neue hat einfach nicht den gleichen Charme, verständlich aber schade.
