Außergewöhnlich leckeres Essen. Gut gewürzt aber nicht scharf. Schnell geliefert und heiss. Für Leute ohne Erfahrung auch sehr zu empfehlen. Man kann draußen sitzen - aber auch im kleinen Restaurant. Zu den Bildern: ich hatte eine Kartoffel mit 2 Beilagen und einen Honig Ingwer Tee. 5,20€ + 3,80€. Also auch Preislich absolut super. Gerne komme ich wieder. This Afghan restaurant offers many vegan options! For that reason I give it 4 stars! The taste was good; I ordered the Nan with vegan fillings. Additionally I ordered the Afghan Samosas which for my taste; were a bit too greasy. The cherry mint lemonade was great! This restaurant is well visited, I recommend you make an reservation. For parking purposes you have a central parking garage about 1 minute away from the restaurant.

Its away from the main action, but its a genuinely stunning view and experience. Enjoy your trip!

Früher waren wir hier sehr regelmäßig Kumpir essen - es gab hier die leckerste Kumpir von Wiesbaden. Die Tage waren wir Mal wieder hier und es hat sich nichts daran geändert, außer die Preise ein wenig, diese sind aber immernoch OK. Das Essen war sehr lecker und alle waren mehr als satt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Waffel gehört zu meinen Lieblingslokalen in der City und ich bin Gast der ersten Stunde dort. Herzliche Gastgeber, Service schnell, freundlich, sehr gut. Die hausgemachten Limonaden schmecken erfrischend, manchmal einen kleinen Tick zu süß 😉 Bei dem Wetter habe ich Gurke-Minze gewählt, perfekt. Das Essen ist frisch, für jeden, auch Veggis etwas dabei. Super Auswahl von diversen Leckereien, sodass ich mich nie entscheiden kann und meistens die Variante Reis mit Allem bestelle. Mein absoluter Favorit sind die Okraschoten, die liebe ich einfach. Dazu gibt es einen scharfen Dipp und eine Joghurtvariante. Ich mische beides zum Reis, yammi 😋 Bisher wurde ich noch nie enttäuscht und somit kann ich das Lokal aus Überzeugung absolut empfehlen!

We were at the Cafe opposite of "die waffel" but they belong together. Salad was seriously old. When I told the waiter that the salad is old and even brown from being old he didn't really do anything about it. Samosa is good, not spicy but rather flavoured. Again it was not fresh- it is warmed up and you can see it being quickly warmed up. Indian samosas in comparison are always freshly made. Nan with minced meat and peas was delicious! Waffles were good. Coffee is over-roasted and unpleasantly bitter. Personnel is very friendly. Many families with kids. The cafe has a shaby Berlin style which is quite nice for an old-fashioned Wiesbaden. But it has Wiesbaden prices for a shabby place

🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 The quantity and quality of the food is amazing, and such friendly service. I am not living in Wiesbaden, only visiting, and I feel so lucky to have eaten here. We had one of the rice dishes and the kumpir (both vegan). I will dream about eating this food again. Highly recommend!

Love the food, especially since they added vegan options like plant-based cheese as well as plant-based sour cream for Kumpir. One of the waiters was being a bit silly bordering rude to my friend for no reason, however. Very unfortunate. He also misunderstood my plant-based coffee order, but did offer a replacement as soon as he realised it. If it hadn’t been for the weird behaviour towards my friend, this restaurant with delicious and extremely affordable food would have easily gotten 5 stars from me.

Good place for a quick and tasty meal. No matter if you want sometihing sweet or salty here you'll find something! The waffels are very good and all fresh as well as the potatoes, which you can order however you want them. No long time to wait. Tipp: Taste the homemade tea!!!!

This place doesn't disappoint. The portions are quite generous especially if you order their rice dishes. If you're indecisive like me, go for the everything plate instead of limiting yourself to two sides. The plates also come with a green spicy sauce and yogurt. You could also opt for a bowl of their herbed yogurt which gives the rice and sides an extra bit of flavour. The dish itself was very flavourful as it had a nice mix of proteins and veggies in different textures. I also tried their Shari Chai which was nice but I felt it was a little diluted with the milk. Their mint tea seems to be the crowd favourite from the other tables. The set up at this restaurant is a bit odd as you'll probably go to their waffle store front, but directly across from them is an expanded part of their restaurant so there is ample seating. The atmosphere is quite cozy and is fairly popular for lunch on weekends so it's ideal to make a reservation especially if you have a party of 4 or more. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely come back as this place gives you your bang for your buck.

This place is always full, very well, visit 😊. So if you want to be there in the evening, make sure you make reservations. I always order the same dishes, and it never disappointed me 😃🤤

The place is very generic. Food is definitely microwaved. We heard the microwave door open and close and the timer beeping. The food was blah. Not tasteless but not tasty. The drinks were good. The ambience is basic. Nothing special at all. Will not come back.

Good meal, food was warm and fresh, Service was good too, the waiter didnt really understand English, he tried to explain what he could, there was something he couldn't explain, so he went and got a sample for us.

The Kumpir are phenomenal. Also, I didn't have to wait very long for my (to-go) order, even though there were a fair number of guests before me.

That was the most delicious and amazing food I have eaten in Germany so far. The mixture of tastes, portion size, service quality and location were excellent. You should definitely try all Reisegerichte in the menu, because each tastes its own way, which makes you enjoy the boost of flavours.

We had very good Kumpir after a long time. My son enjoyed the Rice dish also which was very aromatic and loaded with flavours. Its a pity that we discovered this restaurant only this year. Kudos to the team!

It's actually the other restaurant opposite that I wanted to review. Kumpir is owned by the same company that owns Die Waffel but they serve baked potatoes with the most delicious toppings. I had aubergine with lentil cream, loads of stringy cheese and salad. It was delicious. The lemonade was refreshing and my friend had a trauben schorle. The staff were friendly and courteous.
