First thing to know about visiting this place - just pick the right time to go there. As an architecture fan, or as a visitor with some religious purposes you might not appreciate to be there with a bunch of accidental bike tourists with childrens and dogs inside of this really small chapel. So avoid public German holidays. Also from my experience, it's totally possible to get there without car or bike. Just be prepared to walk around 1,5 hours one way and be sure take everything like water and food, there's nothing around on this way.

Great place which is 100% accessible by car, even though Google or some random people online will tell you otherwise

Fantastic place to visit! Small chapel in the middle of a field designed by Peter Zumthor well worth the journey. No photography allowed inside. It's a spiritual place.

A very special, minimalistic, quite space and place to come to your peace of mind, regardless your religion (or even if you don’t have one).

Remarkably austere and spiritual architectural space set in an overwhelmingly beautiful natural setting.

Interesting chapel in the middle of a field. A block of concrete with some holes on the side and a big one on the top to let light in.

Beautiful and serene place, unique in its design

A unique chapel in the middle of the field. There's a crazy but somehow harmonious contrast between its interior and exterior. When it's raining it acquires a very special and a bit mystical vibe inside.

Magical & mystical place. The walk to get here is part of experience and increases the expectation. You will not be disappointed. Truly great 'in situ' architecture that makes you uqiet and reflective. Magnificent!

Very beautiful chapel. It was special and I had never seen anything like it before. The parking was a bit far away.
