Amazing ambiance and great food … though a bit expensive but fully worth it … 3rd time already 😀

This is a very nice place in Dusseldorf. It serves as a restaurant and hotel. The staff were very good. The appetizer plates are great. I like this place.

One of the most delicious oriental food i have eaten in the last years. Picked the first menu and there the chicken. Just insane how tasty all mezes and the dishes were. Service is friendly and competent. We had a small confusion with the orders but later the staff really tried to understand and solve the problem. Definitely a recommendation for oriental food in Düsseldorf. PS: The main dish is not so big, so make sure to pick the menu if you have an appetite :)

Really loved the ambience. Great food and drinks. We were there for the Sunday brunch which included coffee. The food was great and cooked to perfection. Chicken roast was the best, crisp on the outside and juicy inside. Hummus and peta really tasted good. Must try was the lamb rice, served along with a sauce and curry. In the end, we were served with some deserts and baklava. End of fantastic brunch for only 18€.

For me, the numerous appetizers were the highlight of the evening. The selection of wines should also be highlighted. This together with the pleasant oriental atmosphere, makes a visit to Arabesque a delightful experience. Of course, the attentive and fast service should not be missing.

We, a part of 8, got there at 19.15 (reservation time). Asked a waiter to please come take our order after waiting for 30 minutes. Vorspeisen / Appetizers came at 20.30 and only half of our order. Other Appetizers came 20 minutes later. Main dish/Hauptgericht came at 21.30 after telling the waiter that if our food doesn't come in the next 10 minutes, we are out of here. We ordered 3 chicken dishes as well out of which 2 were raw and had to be returned. Desserts were supposed to be for 3 people (3 orders) but was only served for 2 (2 orders). By that time, everyone was in the party felt like not arguing since we were tired, frustrated and just plainly fed-up. So, we got up, paid our bill and left at 22.15. In short: Never again since it is a rip off. Paid 43 euros per person for a 3 course dinner which honestly left most of us hungry afterwards. 2 stars given only because of ambience, belly dancing and friendliness of the manager. Stay away.

Great food and superb service We went there on a Friday night and were very positively surprised. The food, especially the mixed Starters, were delicious as was the main course. We decided to add two bottles of Lebanese Wine to our order which a perfect combination. When we wanted to make small changes to the Menu, the staff was very accommodating to our wishes. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

We went there for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant it was was amazing, the decoration was top class and food was also good. Full stars for the location, suitable place for big gathering and the versatility of staters was awesome. You must go there one time to have great Halal steaks and pulled lamb meat.

First experience was dinner on a busy night, the food and the service was to the highest of standards. taste and presentation were flawless. We had a set menu of appetizers, main dish and dessert and it didn’t disappoint. Second experience was the Sunday brunch. It was a buffet, the food was tasty however the quantity of some of the basic appetizers was disappointing. Running out of food half way through a brunch is not what you would expect. The dessert was cold and obviously left over from days before which was really disappointing. The main dishes were all great and tasty though! Would still go back and definitely recommend it !!

Nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Starter with various tastes was surprising. Main menu not special, tastes simple, a bit lacking and no side dishes - so a very poor food decoration. Dessert only one baklava for 7,50euro :) and it is of very cheap quality, too much of sugar and no butter. Tip: At least give one quality tasty baklava for that price. The tea tasted like hot water. Unfortunately no belly dancing show, which I expected on Saturday evening. No music until 10:30 PM, so you only hear echoes of people talking. That was annoying and a mood killer.

I was invited by a German friend to have my friend's son birthday party in this famous restaurant. So we had suggested ordering wine and TWO BIG plates of meat with rice and another plate of chicken with rice. The yucky thing we found in both dishes some rest of long, skinny fishbone mixed in with our rice. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was and tasted great. Do yourself a favor and get a Gin Basil smash. I do have to take a star out of the Service because we did waited a lot for someone to take our order and get our food, but they did explained that it was because of understaffing and also had a big group that day. So it’s understandable.

We went there with a big group. Food is too pricy for little portion. We waited 2 hours . Starters are middle of taste and qualtiy. When you agree on drink flat rates, ask what is included, because not much is. Steak ordered medium+, got medium rare, but service not even willing to offer a new one. Overall: I wouldn’t go there again!!! Karawane in Essen is by far better!!!!! The only thing good is the ambience….

The food and the menu options are very nice and unique. The service and atmosphere are really nice and went above expectations! The only downside is that parking is not as easy as it seems to be from the description on the website...it is possible to find parking options on the streets around but you need to be ready for a short walk to get to the restaurant. All in all, definitely worth a visit and I plan to come back 😀

High prices with very low quantity. Look at the picture. That's the amount of food they give in "main" dish.

A great warm atmosphere. Very beautifully decorated, north african/arabic style restaurant. If you want yo detach from the stressed life of work in the city, it's worth to try this place. They have great quality of food and a big selection of delicious appetizers. There is not many vegeterian options as the main dish. The staff are very very nice and professional. I just think they should have more staff since it is a rather big restaurant with a lot of guests most of the time. If you go there as a group, I would suggest that you order less appetizers so you can also enjoy the main dish.

The reception very nice, but not the service. We asked to change our menus from German to English, they forgot about us after 10 minutes, I reminded another waiter. I ordered water, lemonade, an alcoholic drink, they came after the meal (30 minutes), even then I reminded the waiter about the drinks. the waiters do not communicate with each other, or at least that is our impression. Served chaotically
