Stunning food and produce market with queues of locals lining up to get their hands on the top quality goods. So many delicacies in offer that it was hard not to buy or try everything. Welcome warmth during winter to escape the cold of the outdoors and it was also no where as busy as the Christmas markets

An absolute MUST when in Frankfurt! I just happened to be in Frankfurt on a Saturday and discovered this gem. It’s only open in Thursday’s and Saturday’s. It’s like a cross between a farmers market and a food festival. Everything here was so fresh and delicious. Everyone said to try the Apple wine but I personally didn’t find it that amazing since it was quite sour. Definitely come here on an empty stomach since there are so many amazing different foods to try!

Great place to buy fresh products to take home or to consume on the spot. There are also many possibilities to have a drink, a snack and meet local people here. Make sure you try a wine from the region, fresh fruit juice or delicious mushrooms or typical German sausage. Fresh meat, cheese and fish are also available. Beware: many places are cash only!

It gets pretty boring after you visited a couple of times though it is a good place to buy some quality (but also pricier) produces (vegies, meats, cheeses, fruits, honey, fresh juices, jams, pickles, etc.), from local or regional farmers or to enjoy a glass of Riesling, Sekt or the like from regional winemakers or to taste some German street foods. It is a representative example of German farmers' market. They are open only twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays. It appears to be quite a popular place for seniors and retirees to hang around with a drink and some food.

A lovely morning market with lots of trucks selling vegetables, traditional German food, pastries, and drinks. It's easily accessible from the train. Crowds start forming at about 10.30am. I had the Rindswurst and Grilled Pork Steak and both were great-tasting, with their hotness perfect for the cold weather. Apple wine with elderflower was great too. Do walk around the whole market first as it's pretty small - before deciding on where to eat. Prices are on the low side!

Nice to browse but we had the lousiest bratwurst of the trip here and if you’re Asian don’t bother buying anything from the guy selling honey/soaps to avoid an unpleasant experience!

A farmer market which is only opened on Thu and Sat. I’m here on Thu, so not a lot of stalls. I think there should be more things on Sat. All the goods look super fresh until I wanna buy everything back (but realisticly, I can’t). There are also a few good German wine stalls here and it’s super cheap!

This is a surprisingly nice farmer's market right in the middle of the city. I had a great "bio" bratwurst, and it was ambrosia. I then had a nice reisling wine, and wished I still had the sausage to go with it. Worth a trip.

Good selection of florist, vege and meat. But not an attraction for tourist. Maybe if you are walking from zeil too far it is worth a visit. Try the fish sandwich. Its good.

Every Thursday and Saturday on of the best farmer markets of the region takes place at Konstablerwache. Be early to avoid the crowds of tourists looking for a snack or a glass of wine. Great selection of local produce, cheese, meats and fish. Don’t judge about the location in the city center.

Good for takeaway and buying fresh edibles. Maybe a bit too crowded to eat-in. The service tends to be slower than restaurants. Make sure you get there early and keep your party under 4 people. tables are very small in the second floor.

We really only go to the market to get the honey waffles, which are very good. Good atmosphere on a sunny day with lots of people having a glass of wine or a sausage whilst doing their shopping.

Love this farm market!! Where you can have all kinds of sausage/Schnitzel/Porkchop and so on. Besides that, there r several wine stand there for you to taste their collection. Besides wine, you can have fresh Apfelwein which you can have a glass or even fill in ur water bottle! Don't miss the place, if you are seeking a local food and beverage!!

Started our trip in Frankfurt at this market for breakfast and then came back 10 days later for the exact same thing! It was so good. It’s been running since ‘89 and it’s only the weekends. There’s a deutsch bank atm beside it if you need cash. There’s literally something for everyone in here. The wurst were so tasty and the green sauce at the middle stall was to die for. There’s apfelwein galore in here and it’s filled with locals so you know it’s good

I only went to eat some food but the vegetables and cheeses looked very good quality! We also had some sausages, fried potatoes with green sauce, beer, wine and a waffle! I recommend trying it all

The place to be on Thursdays and Saturdays when you want to grab fresh, local products and have a drink among locals. The different sellers have very good, mainly local, products, like fuits, vegetables, cheeses, meat, etc. Best place to get, for example, beef from a farm in Trebur (north-eastern corner). Besides the groceries, having a glass of wine, apple wine, or beer is important. All drinks are from wineries and breweries from the region, of the highest quality, and for a reasonable price. Try the dark beer from the brewery in the center (mainly available in the winter months until spring) or the Sommercuvee from Rolander (south-eastern corner).

Great plan for a Saturday in frankfurt. Packed with people and you must expect queuing for food and drinks but definitely worth it!
