UPDATE:
after
I
have
posted
my
review,
Ben's
Jungle
contacted
me,
apologizing
for
the
issues
encountered
and
offering
a
compensation.
Originally
when
I
contacted
them
about
the
damaged
plants
I
did
not
yet
discover
the
pests,
so
the
shop
couldn't
adress
this
problem
then.
After
reading
my
review
they
reached
out,
agreed
there
were
issues,
and
sent
me
two
beautiful
plants
for
free
as
a
compensation.
The
new
plants
both
look
great
and
are
not
like
the
first
batch
I
received,
and
one
is
way
larger
than
what
I
ordered
originally
(I
ordered
a
baby
one
and
now
recieved
a
very
full
adult
plant
in
an
13-ish
cm
pot).
I
found
remains
of
a
caterpillar
cocoon
on
one
of
the
leaves
of
the
new
plants,
but
the
leaves
do
not
seem
to
be
chomped
on
by
any
insects.
I
have
added
new
pictures
now,
the
new
plants
are
a
calathea
white
fusion
and
a
beauty
star.
I
suggest
when
you
see
a
problem
with
your
plants
received
from
here
you
insist
on
solving
it,
even
if
the
seller
doesn't
initially
agree
anything
is
wrong.
A
few
weeks
later
now,
the
thrips
from
the
first
delivery
managed
to
spread
to
many
of
my
other
plants,
despite
my
best
efforts
to
prevent
this.
I
lost
several
plants
I
loved
and
spent
years
taking
care
of
and
many
more
are
struggling.
No
free
replacement
plants
can
be
enough
to
cover
this
and
I
now
wish
I
never
bought
anything
from
this
shop,
despite
their
good
customer
service.
Original
review:
Never
again.
I
ordered
6
plants
from
here.
They
arrived
after
5
days,
well
packed,
but
in
bad
condition
and
turned
out
to
be
infested
with
pests.
One
plant
(that
costed
35
euros)
had
4
leaves
upon
arrival,
of
which
only
one
was
not
severely
deformed
or
damaged.
There
were
holes
all
over
the
leaves
and
about
2
cm
of
each
leaf
were
completely
dry
and
dead.
I
got
20%
refund
off
this
plant
when
I
contacted
the
seller,
but
unfortunately
plant
that
damaged
is
not
something
you
want
to
use
as
a
decoration,
but
have
to
hope
it
will
survive
at
all...
Another
plant
was
pretty
leggy
indicating
it
didn't
have
enough
light
in
the
nursery.
All
of
its
leaves
were
also
mildly
deformed
and
had
multiple
holes
and
scraches,
as
well
as
dry
edges,
not
making
a
healthy
look.
The
sellers
comment
on
it
was
that
it
looks
great
and
no
plant
is
perfect
in
nature.
Two
more
smaller
plants
had
multiple
dameged
spots
and
scratches
on
all
leaves
as
well,
although
I
wasn't
bothered
by
it
at
first
since
I
deliberately
bought
them
in
baby
size
and
I
can
cut
these
leaves
off
in
a
few
years
when
they
grow
larger
(something
that
you
do
not
expect
to
have
to
do
when
buying
adult
plants,
as
the
first
two).
Later
I
discovered
that
all
six
plants
were
infested
with
pests!
Not
even
one
type,
that
could
come
with
one
plant
and
then
spread,
but
two
different
(that
I
saw
so
far)
One
plant
had
scales,
the
other
5
-
thrips.
Overall,
it
looks
to
me
like
this
shop
doesn't
take
good
care
of
their
plants
so
that
they
all
get
damaged
(sure,
no
plant
is
perfect,
but
I
have
never
received
this
amount
of
defective
plants
from
any
other
plant
shop),
does
not
care
for
plants
health
so
the
pests
remain
untreated
and
sent
to
customers
(perhaps
both
problems
are
caused
by
overcrowding?
Could
be
that
they
try
to
grow
too
many
plants
for
the
space
they
have,
so
the
neighboring
pots
cut
leaves,
pests
spread
instantly,
plants
compete
for
light
etc).
This
is
definitely
not
the
place
where
I'd
like
to
get
my
plants
from
and
not
a
shop
I
will
support
or
recommend.
