A pleasant café on the road between Heidelberg and Nürnberg

Great rest stop with charging stations for E-cars 🚗 Besides the modern and spacious seating inside with a variety of light food options and bakery items, it also offers by far the best restrooms I have seen on German roads - no charge! 😉

I enjoyed the atmosphere here, very delicious baking and perfect customer service as the staff welcoming customers in very kind way. You get plenty of options, so check the menu in advance. I highly recommend.

Despite having a reservation, it is needed to wait a long queue (almost an hour on a Sunday morning). Staff is incredible helpful and nice, and portions are really generous.

We stopped here by coincidence in order to avoid the storm that was building up above the Autobahn and man did we make the right choice! Plenty of parking spaces, e-chargers, The cakes are great, bread is beautiful! And whoever designed this place deserves a Nobel prize for architecture (if it'd exist).
