Sooo nice place and I am really amazed that if this church is that much big, how big is the biggest church in Germany. Eyecatching buildings and great atmosphere. It has different church building in this place.

Its a good place to take the kids out or to just spend time. Its a combination between Historical and modern. There is many Restaurants in the area and mostly crowded.

The place I like most in Erfurt. Festivals, social engagements takes place over there. A very big open space beside historical cathedrals and old houses other side. The place lays in the city center.

The Domplatz in Erfurt is beautiful and legendary. If you're in town, definitely visit the place and the dome itself. There is always something going on at the marketplace.

The Dom is a must see. Walking East from the Dom to the fish market is beautiful

Beautiful big Cathedral and big plaza for the events and any occasions. It's pity, I couldn't go inside the church cuz it's late, and closed. But the environment is beautiful.

The cathedral connects Domplatz to Domberg through a 70-step staircase, alongside two former collegiate churches. Notable elements include a towering Gothic choir, Romanesque tower, and late Gothic western hall. The cathedral succeeded an earlier sacred structure commissioned by Rome in 724 and established by Bishop Boniface in 742 for the Erfurt diocese.

Found it to be super lively full of stalls with all kinds of things. Was great for a nice little snack while wandering round the city.

Erfurt is my favorite city to go. And Domplatz is the place nobody should miss. The city of Erfurt is brilliant, and having a tour towards the Dom, the Domplatz is the cherry on the topping 😊

It is a large greatly designed catholic cathedral, the largest in Thuringen. There are concerts and exhibitions organized within the cathedral. Very popular place to visit by tourists.
