Bad experience! Though it was saying there was free parking spots, we entered, the parking was full and we had to pay 4 euros only to get out (in less than 10min). Many other people there were having the same problem. We asked for help by the exit gate but the person in the intercom didn't speak English, unfortunately.

The promenade is full of life, and a nice place to walk through and just see what's going on around you. This is a lovely walk alongside the river and adjacent to the Old Town where you can continue for a couple of miles at your leisure right down to the harbour. A pleasant stroll along the rhine past the old town and down towards the rhine tower and the attractive modern buildings in the nearby wharf. The trees along the route are intriguing as it must be a huge effort to trim of all new growth each year when there are literally hundreds of trees.

These deep car parks are dotted all over Düsseldorf. Unobtrusive and accessed directly off the road, they exist behind normal street facades to create parking throughout the city. Car parking is necessary for people to live and work in built-up areas. It is clear that they work, as ordinary people do live and work in German cities.

Always enough space, convenient that it is right in the center. Also cool that you drive in from the tunnel next to Rheine river. What I do not like is that even though there are toilets there, you need to go up to the outside entrance and ask the guard for the key, then go down, use the toilet and bring back the key. Quite a cumbersome procedure! Due to that, some men use the parking space as a toilet (was a witness 🙈). Hence, not all corners smell good. Only cheap if you have the Contipark card.

You get there from the tunnel under the city centre. Follow sign "Rheinufer" and do not trust Google map you do not need to make a turn if you are going from south (you will be able to turn right while you are going from bottom). In comparison with other Contipark parking this one has a modern elevator and no peeing smell.

the parling is located in a central area the price is a bit on the expensive side but if you plan to come often there is an option to bet a discount card for this one and the rest of the parking places by the parent company, i do recommend it highly

Well-located parking garage to get to the old town of Düsseldorf. However, the first parking level is mainly allocated to long-term parkers. If you are in a hurry, you should head to the next parking level immediately. Some parking bays are very narrow, especially if you drive wider cars.

Amazing location but really expensive, I had to pay 12 euros at the end of the night which caught me by surprise but I guess that when it comes to location and cost you can't have one without the other! There are three levels to choose from and there were several spaces to choose from even though I went there on a busy night. While in the tunnel you might not have GPS signal, so Do not miss the underground entrance!

It would be nice if the much-praised P-Card would work: After entry-exit and billing worked until now, suddenly, for no apparent reason, the message "card invalid" appears at the entrance! Numerous emails to the operating company remain unanswered. I have rarely experienced such shoddy "customer service" as I did from this juice shop!!!!!

The elevator buttons were at -1. So you had to go through the entire parking garage to the other side with a stroller. The parking spaces are very narrow, not suitable for SUVs and if you have to carry your child in the seat, it becomes difficult.

Had problems on the exit due to circumstances not caused by me. The employee behind the loudspeaker was able to open the barrier for me very quickly and easily. That's how service works! Absolutely recommended.

It's terrible in this parking garage with an electric car. You drive in... you don't find any signs where you can park or charge your electric car. Then you finally found the two options and they are occupied... what's outrageous is that you still have to pay for a whole hour of parking... terrible experience!!!

Very narrow parking garage. Although it was full, it was indicated that there were still over 100 places available. So you were forced to wait 30 minutes in the entrance tunnel. Proximity to the old town is perfect.

Very good opportunity to park directly in (or under) the city. It can't get any closer. You parked your vehicle dry, warm or in the shade. With the Contipark card (free via the website) you pay a maximum of €10 per day (as of 2023). However, points are deducted here for the often narrow parking spaces. They no longer fit the current dimensions of the vehicles.

Floor P1 looks free and is marked as free, but the free spaces are all half-blocked by other cars or something else and are too narrow. Photo documentation is available Exit to enter was not allowed. Layers are not connected There are also regular technical problems Lawyer post to follow. Avoid!!!

The Altstadt Rheinufer car park is located very centrally in the old town, but you can only get in via the Rheinufer tunnel and when you exit you have to pay attention to where you want to go, there is the north or south exit! I only went in because the public transport in Düsseldorf was on strike again and couldn't cancel my appointment. Relatively clean parking garage, 3 elevators to the exit. Points are deducted for the fact that the costs and parking time are unfortunately only billed by the hour. It's a shame that it's not billed by minutes - or at least every quarter of an hour! That means you have to pay a hefty 8 euros for 1 hour and 5 minutes of parking. (Always 4 euros per hour!) In NL they are more advanced and more accommodating with minute billing, so changing cars would be quicker and more efficient, most customers would then probably stay there longer to make it happen Worth it given the very high parking fees!

The location is perfect, signs to drive/park should be better highlighted and only few parking spaces are available for general public

TO EXPENSIEVE, 20.50 euro for 5 hours and 8 minutes. Parking is to small for SUV cars.
