It's a sweet place that offers quite authentic Japanese food at decent prices. All the dishes were delicious. We loved particularly the BBQ Eel and Miso aubergine. The staffs here are also super friendly and helpful. I asked if I could keep the Fuji themed coaster. They were so nice and let me keep it. if you want to eat there, reserve a table in advance. The place is popular and gets packed soon.

The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was very friendly, and since we went on holiday some staff members were even dressed up. Nice atmosphere too. Book in advance though! The place is popular.

Our favorite Japanese restaurant im DUS. Went there quite often before and since living in the area. Never been disappointed!! Interior is nothing special but service and food is really good. Menu covers some classics and is not too big. We usually order a couple of dishes and share. Drinks are also fine and priced similar to other Japanese restaurants in the area. Prices are in general similar to other Japanese venues in Dusseldorf. While some ppl might consider them a little steep, imho they are fair and the experience is totally worth it.

Easily the best Izakaya 🏮 in Düsseldorf! This is 💯 legit Japanese bar and proper food. I don’t understand why people line up at “ramen” places 😂😂😂 Recommendations: Unagi 🐠, Miso Aubergine 🍆 Okonomiyaki 🥞and Umeshu 🍶 Best staff also 🥰

Düsseldorf is also known as a Japanese town having the biggest population of Japanese in Europe. Having this history there are several Japanese restaurant options quite authentic. We tried one of these and was quite good. It is close to f the downtown quite small and compact. Everything was perfect except for some foul smell inside the restaurant like the one of the drain, not sure if it was specific today, which they need to fix. The food was quite good and the service was good as well.

A good restaurant in Düsseldorf. I like the wine the most. At the first sip, you may not like it but the taste after that was sweet. No words of mine can describe the feeling.

In the middle of ‘Japan town’ and with important neighbours it is not easy. But it is the only spot to taste proper Okonomiyaki. So it is about if you like this kind of Japanese omelette. I do and I think it was superb. Tofu steak and Aubergine were also very good. Short holiday in Japan. Price more affordable than other places, service very friendly. And the waiting queue is shorter because the dishes are a bit more special. Huge selection of sake and shochu but it was lunchtime so did not try. Kirin on tap perfectly cooled 🙃😀😀

Fantastic ramen and okonomiyaki. We also had gyoza and it was very tasty. A bit pricy but worth the mind blowing flavours. Very warm and nicely decorated place.

Very typical place, you really feel like you're in Japan. Authentic dishes with good quality. The waiting queue is long and they don't seem to fill up the available places right away, which seems strange if you're waiting to get in.

We had to stay in the queue for around 5 min which is okay, the place is quite popular. The food was delicious, it was five of us and everyone was amazed! I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have tasty japanese food!

Amazing food, and easy to order too much to eat… including the enormous Kirin beer (0,5L). We had the Takoyaki Kushi which was véry soft and delicious, the Gyoza which was also amazing, the Buta Yakisoba with amazing pork and fried noodles (not the crispy kind, but the firm ones), and Nanban Tartar Okonomiyaki with crispy chicken and a fluffy soft bottom. 2 big dishes and 2 small ones, together with 2 large beers, were véry filling for two people who are relatively big eaters… but more than worth it. Speaking of worth it, the price was also quite doable considering the amount and quality of food you get :)

First time trying Okonomiyaki and it was very interesting and tasty. Order a bunch of appetizers and they were delicious, especially the chicken. Was impressed by the service and the attention to detail, e.g the wet towel was a very nice touch. The dessert was amazing as well. Definitely going back to try more dishes.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant over a few years and it has always been of high quality. Recently visited for dinner and was sad to see the limited menu (because of staff shortage etc after lockdown) but glad to see it was busy and rightly so with its lovely service and quality food 😊

Decoration that takes you to Japan. Nice and quick service. Short menu but full of good dishes (okonomiyaki is a must). And price very adjusted. So: go and enjoy

We had Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki and Edamame and it was so delicious! The service is so polite and attentive. I came back to this place after a long time and it was still as great, if not better. The restaurant has Japanese interior and it's very welcoming and cozy. One tip: make a reservation beforehand as it's super popular and therefore always full. Recommended!!

They reduced the options in the menu a little but now they added Yakisoba, and it is great. Okonomiyaki or Yakisoba may be too much for one person, so I recommend to share if possible. You can add some toppings (like kimchi, eggs) from the menu. They also have a great selection of sake, if you're interested. To bad that they don't make french fries anymore :(

This is a real Japanese food! These are all great and friendly staff. I’m from Japan but I can feel the Japan vibes there even if you’re in Germany. There is always busy and people are waiting on the line so I recommend you to make a reservation. They speak German/ English/ Japanese.

While not cheap, it tasted great. We were really happy with the okonomiyaki we got. Haven't tried the ramen there.

A great opportunity to try an Osaka classic, okonomiyaki, a type of savoury pancake. There were several options, all delicious and presented brilliantly. The starters were also good, the gyoza and octopus balls were particularly good. Service was rather slow at times and we had trouble getting the attention of the staff to order more drinks and deserts.

Very delicious okonomiyaki and takoyaki! Too bad they don't have yakitori

It's was the 2nd time that we have been here and it was again, really good. I totally recommend you to make a reservation otherwise you can wait at least 30minutes to get a table. We had different dishes and all of them were good. What I especially can recommend and the Yaki Udon, the chicken karage and the eggplant.

The duck soup ramen is worth a try, portions are a bit small though. Desert is also pretty good. The grilled tofu and beef isn’t as good as I expected

  • 4/5 Svetlana B. 2 years ago on Google
The food is good, the portions are a bit smaller than expected (in the restaurant next door ramen is twice as big). The ordered green tea was served by glass, not a pot :(.

A real feel of Japan. Service was great and the food topped it. Must go to place to try okonomiyaki. Second time I visit already ☺️

The mushroom tofu steak is super salty.... But the Japanese Pancake is really nice.

There is an atmosphere as like being in Japan. Its a Izakaya bar style and above all, the quality of foods are so good. And staff are all kind 😊
