Japanese food you will get at homes. Very nice place if youd like japanese food not being sushi or ramen.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf! The staff is super friendly and attentive. The waiting time is around 15 minutes, but they'll give you some soup as an appetizer. The food is really good! Period! The portion sizes are more than enough for a single person, and they also have dishes to share. The prices are also reasonable compared to other restaurants. Would definitely go again!

Our very first time eating in Little Tokyo neighborhood. We were not disappointed at all. The service in eatTOKYO was superb. The waitress was really kind and very attentive to us. In any case you need to be patient and go there thinking you will most probably have to queue up.

We came for dinner at the end of the dinner service but despite this fact the team working there were very helpful and patient as we went though the 100 page menu. Food was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

This is a real authentic Japanese food restaurant. I loved it. All the menu items we had was fresh, and tasted delicious. I had eel bento and it was one of the best eel I have ever had, you can tell they know how to handle seafood. Everything came up pretty fast. Inside of the restaurant is pretty tight the tables are close to each other. Duesseldorf has great Japanese restaurants and this is one of them. Will definitely visit again if I'm back in town.

The atmosphere was nice and I dined outdoors. The takoyaki was a bit too soft and the octopus piece was tiny. I ordered the katsudon and wasn't too pleased with the flavor as well as the katsu was super soggy. Overall not a bad experience, the food just didn't resonate with me.

With a dining room full of patrons, eatTOKYO was able to accommodate our (relatively) large party of 6 as a walk-in during peak hours! The service was exceptional and attentive. The menu offered a wide variety of well executed and reasonably priced Japanese cuisine.

Affordable prices with great quality. However the only thing can be improved is the rice which is a little mushy and sticky. Overall, everything is good. (And it’s cash only.)

The food is just amazing and tastes almost like it does in Japan. The prices are also not very high, compared to other restaurants, and given that japanese food is normally expensive outside Japan. I recommend it 100%!

We ate only sushi and it was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative point was that they didn't take cart.

Delicious fresh sashimi and sushi bendo ( lunch box set). Good price-quality ratio. Very crowded and need to line up for minimum 30 mins. Recommended!

Great Japanese restaurant in Düsseldorf! Our experience with this restaurant was superb. We were seated by a friendly waitress. She immediately brought us the menu, which had a wide selection of Japanese dishes. Sushi, Tonkatsu, Bento, Yakitori, and many other choices. Prices are reasonable, good even by German standards. My choice was the Tonkatsu bento, which didn't disappoint. The portion was large. Two pieces of cutlet, a large portion of tasty rice, salad with a homemade dressing (delicious), sauce, miso soup, 2 pieces of maki sushi, and Agedashi dōfu. Honestly, everything was fresh and well prepared. The waitress was also really nice and smiled all the time (as did other staff members). I wanted to visit this place since I saw Shu-san's livestreams on TikTok, and it was worth it.

FOOD & DRINKS You can get Sushi, Japanese Curry, Rice bowls, Bentos, Soba, Udon… There should be something for everyone who likes Japanese cuisine. I gave the Katsu Don a try. Unfortunately the meat was a bit too tough, the crispiness was almost nonexistent and the sauce a bit salty and soy driven. The portion was huge for the price. The taste was just okay. SERVICE Very busy and hectic. Several staff members went past me several times. Didn’t care who was first and only helped me when I took initiative. I was on the brink of leaving to be honest. The waiter who took my order and brought me my food was friendly and nice though. Even though I don’t care, I just like to mention that the waiters were speaking Chinese. ATMOSPHERE The bar which I prefer when I eat alone was taboo for me with no reason given. I think everything is mostly simple and functional. RATING My review may sound less positive but this restaurant is not bad. You can get pretty decent Japanese food but I’d rather have a smaller portion with more love and finesse.

We wanted a quick lunch before catching our train in one hour. It's a great location because it's near the Hauptbahnhof. We ordered the bento boxes, one for teriyaki chicken and the other with grilled eel and a crispy squid appetizer beforehand. The food was not only affordable but very delicious and good quality. The crispy squid is amazing. I enjoyed the variety of the bento boxes and it really does fill you up very well before a trip. We got a pot of green tea and it came as matcha, which really warmed us up while we ate outside. It was a nice, sunny autumn day but still a bit chilly so the tea really hit the spot. The service was really nice as everyone was so nice and attentive.

I visited the restaurant on Friday evening without a reservation. The staff were nice, and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend it as it is a very authentic Japanese restaurant (according to my Japanese friend). The prices are good as well, and I recommend trying the green tee.

This is my 4th time here. Always return whenever I come to Düsseldorf. They had large variety of fusion sushi before. This last time I came, however, things were different. A lot less options compared to before. And not all was good, a disappointment for me really as it was my favorite sushi place before. I’m very sad with this visit. Spider Roll - tasted pretty good and since it’s well priced, 4* Salmon Avocado Roll - simple yet tasty, I mean this combo is hard to fail. 3* Hokai Roll - Of all I last ordered, this is probably the only one that still reminds me of the good old tasty flavor. I recommend this. 5* Sashimi Moriawase - Salmon and the white fish is my fav. Tuna, Mackerel and Octopus aren’t my fav so it’s a matter of preference. 4* Tokyo Dragon Roll - oh no, I didn’t like it. I thought this combo is hard to fail but they did anyway. 1* So actually the food wasn’t that bad, but compared to before, the selection is far reduced and execution is less than satisfactory. I guess I need to find a new fav.

The price of each item is quite reasonable, ordered katsudon and it tasted good. Personnel are attentive. Card payment is accepted more than 15eur

personal experience, the waitress doesn't serve well when the customers enter the shop and the food was slightly below average, but the takoyaki was good...i would say. Anyway the environment was good and the price is reasonable.

Nice gyoza, sushi and bento boxes with reasonable pricing! The service wasn't the best one (sometimes got confused with orders), but the staff were super friendly :) Definitely recommend!!

One of my absolutely favourite places for Japanese food in NRW! Have been there so many times and always got only positive experience. The food is just amazing, with a great choice of diverse dishes. The prices are very reasonable as well. Totally recommend!

The food is delicious and the service is good, except for the less polite atitudine of the older lady, who do not treat customers with respect but with a superior attitude. Certainly such behavior is not authentic Japanese, but the most important is that the food is authentic Japanese.
