Stumbled across this place when looking for some interesting craft beer in Munich. What we found was a wonderful community tap room with excellent beers and a welcoming crowd. We ended up ordering pizza in and staying all night. Absolutely recommended 11/10. Will be back next time I’m in the area.

Pretty chill place that offers amazing craft beer 🍺 the owners and staff are extremely nice, and it's always a pleasure to go there and talk to them! The atmosphere is simple and chill. It's one of these places you go with friends and end up having a conversation with the people on the next table. The beers always surprise me, and I honestly liked every beer that I tried. Also, they often add new recipes to the menu, so going back there never feels the same. Completely recommend!

Such a nice place to drink excellent craft beer. They even had a malty Märzen infused with coffee. The flavor of chocolate and nuts really got me. The Eclipse Black IPA (tasting like fresh mangos) was delighting too. Super nice place with super nice people!

I would like to personally recommend this place to any good craft beer drinking enthusiast. Small place, small tap list, very friendly, and most certainly tasty craft beer. The owner was so nice to meet, and his bartender was awesome as well. It is wonderful to meet a fellow craft beer focused individual in the city of the BIGGEST known breweries of the world. Also, I need to mention the balls you have to have to open up right next to Spaten itself. I congratulate the courage to pursue your passion and continue to hone your craft. Don't let the world slow you down and make sure you make the time to visit this brewery. This is what dreams are made of and keep on brewing. Prost!!!

After long time research. Me and my friends found a place on google maps for craft beer. Bartender was cool person and made us feel welcome. Indoor and outdoor seatings. Their IPAs are good. Tried couple of varieties. It was hot day so we enjoyed a lot. Atmosphere was bit quiet but good. Anyhow we enjoyed our time there and that’s all matter. Thanks to them

Found this place on one of our last days in Munich and it was like manna from heaven! For an American with a penchant for hoppy beers, I had nearly had my fill of sweet lagers and was dying for a hop forward ale. This place delivered in spades! I immediately gravitated to the double IPA and it was easily the best beer I had during my entire visit to Europe. We also ordered the cheese platter and it was way over generous in portion given what we paid. And the cheese was awesome! That is one thing I wish we could bring with us from Germany, the amazing variety of fresh and delicious cheeses that I just can't seem to replicate in the states! Paul and Jen were delightful and made pleasant conversation with us and I was definitely intrigued by their story and totally rooting for their success! I had intended to go back on our last day in Munich to get another round of their tasty beers and to buy a t-shirt but it just never came to pass. Now, nearly a year later, we're about to embark on another trip to Munich and I am finally getting around to the review I had raved about posting immediately upon returning to the US. If you're an American expat looking for a hoppy taste of home in Munich, this is your place! If you are a local who is curious to taste the spectrum of what American beer could be (and the various international flavors Higgins also regularly brews), I couldn't recommend a location more strongly than this one. I look forward to returning to see what Higgins Ale Works has cooked up since my last visit!

What a great little rap room. Seats no more than 20 people, feels like the sort of place you want to make your regular stop. Super kind dude behind the bar, tonight they offered 6 different beers on tap and who knows how many in bottle/can. A couple IPSs, a couple seasonal and a porter/cream ale. Perfect selection for me. Loved the place. I got the t-shirt. Great little Munich find for this American.

Paul, your range of beer was superb! I love IPA and Stout and was not disappointed. We visit our daughters, who live in Munich, twice a year...so we'll be back and I'll spread the word. We wish you all the best.
