Never going back here again. We ordered 3 pizzas, drinks and salads. The waiter told us it’ll take up to an hour for the pizza as they were super full. 30 minutes later she came back to ‘replace’ our orders for the pizza. Almost two hours after we sat down two pizzas came, the third however was meant to be vegetarian… it came out with fish on it! The waiter tried to tell the vegetarian guest they could try it… Ordered more water which never arrived. After we got the attention of the manager the waiter didn’t bother to check in with us at all. When it came time to be pay for the poor service and wasted time, the waiter left as soon as she got money without an apology, not even a “goodbye”. Such poor service not worth the money and time you’ll waste here!

If you want to order pizza here, I must warn you that it is absolutely huge! :) Really, I've never eaten a pizza as huge as this one. And of course, I wasn't able to eat it whole, but you can take the leftovers home. What is interesting is that you make your own pizza, i.e. you get a piece of paper where you choose between the types of cheese and other condiments you may want to add. Also, they have vegan cheese, so your pizza can be vegan! As for the service, they are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

As a close loyal customer to L’Osteria restaurant, I was shocked today about the service, I had the worse experience ever in ULM branch, I have been to many branches around europe, especially München where I live, and I always order my favorite pasta, pizza and drinks with not a single issue. But today I had a bad experience in this branch, with an employee his name is “Mario” , he was rude and arrogant since we sat , I was explaining my order for him, that I want extra salami on my pizza and I want it cut in half for me and my girlfriend, also to have lemon in my cola with ice, and Mario was rushing the order in a way, he started walking away while I was talking to him. Then, we had our Pasta, but the pizza never came, after 20 minutes, the pizza came , not cut, no salami and cola with no ice or lemon. The mistake happened because Mario never listened carefully and he started walking away while I was ordering without bye or thank you or anything. Then they said they will bring us our pizza, but we waited for extra 35 minutes with no pizza, so over all one hour without getting the right order. It ended up for us talking to a manager who was helpful and us canceling the pizza and pay for our food without having our pizza and leaving Ulm. I hope someone would take this complaint seriously. I chose to eat dinner here. The food tasted good however the waiter wasn't respectful at all. I called him to order but he decided to skip me and went to another table first. I ordered a small bruschetta for an appetizer but it came with dinner and the wrong size. I didn't understand it was big because it was written 2 breads and there were 4 half bread slices on the table. While paying he said it was a big bruschetta and I wanted that. I refused to pay for big bruschetta and he took the check without saying anything and went back. Then he came and assumed that I said big bruschetta. I will not go there again even though I liked the food. His behaviour and insisting that I am lying for only 2 euros was insane.

The pizza is delicious but the service is the worst I have ever experienced. There was no friendliness nor the willingness for a good customer experience. After we finished the pizza and our plates where taken away, we waited for half an hour to order a dessert. When she finally came again, she just said the kitchen is already closed. I would have expected a last call before closing. The restaurant wasn't full thus this would have not been much work... Unfortunately, this damped the entire evening.

Biggest pizza I've ever had. But very good also!

The people here are so friendly. The food are delicious and the ambiance is nice. They also give you option to try 2 type of pizza in one order. For example half Salami and half BBQ Pizza. I really recommend this place also for foreigners who wanna try European pasta and pizza.

The place is nice and cozy, the staff are really friendly. Some dishes are really good but for me the rest is below standards. Desserts are nice

3 stars only because the food was good. Service nope. Otherwise it was a great disappointment for me. I visit L’Osteria Augsburg very frequently, and I am super satisfied with the food , ambience and service there. Had expected this one to be the same that’s why went for having dinner during our stay in Ulm. People are friendly but take really long time to respond. I guess I was annoyed because of too much of waiting for the order and in between the orders.

We stopped by here to eat pizza in Ulm, where we came as tourists today. After we ordered our pizza and drinks, my little girl said she was thirsty and we ordered additional water. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I wanted to remind the waiter that the water was not brought. The waiter bent over our table and shouted something in German. I asked him to speak English because I don't understand. "Can't you see the crowd?" said. When I told him that we were a customer and that it was not right for him to be rude to us in this way, he angrily brought the water. I have never encountered such treatment in any city in Europe. I never recommend this place.

Sitting in the Judenhof directly in the shadow of the Munster, the restaurant is centrally located whether you are coming by foot, bike, car or public transportation. L'Osteria boasts generous portions at reasonable prices. With the Pizza making station readily visible, this is a great place for the young and young-at-heart to get a glimpse of the work behind the scenes. The menu is filled with Italian classics from pasta to pizza to salads. Even the most picky of eaters will certainly find something to their liking.

I did not enjoyed my experience there at all. The staff were rude and the food quality which was BBQ chicken pizza was awful. The sauce was too much and the chicken did not tasted good. Not recommended not recommended.

We ordered two pasta and one Resotto. small portions,noodles was too soft and tasteless like baby food. and waiting long time for two plates ,you need to walk to the kitchen area get the plates by yourself😳

Massive menu but only 3 dishes to choose from for vegans. (Bruschetta, a quinoa salad and a pasta dish with rocket salad) Quite disappointing in this day and age. Also not a single vegan option on the specials board. :(

The pizza is really tasty, but the service can improve. Since it is a popular place, there can be delays in taking the order, serving the food and bringing the bill. Otherwise it has a really good ambience. Good for hang out with large group. Price is reasonable as well.

A nice place to have huge pizzas. But very expensive and bad service. If you sit outside, they don't even attend you well. You keep have to calling them in case you need anything.

Nice restaurant with vibrant atmosphere and big plates. Pizzas are a good size with lots of options. Nice beer and wine too. The starters leave a lot to be desired as the bruschetta was very poor - soft, diced tomatoes with little seasoning placed in some very lightly toasted bread. Gaic bread was plain pizza base with basically no garlic on it and some diced tomato. Very bland.

Service is really rubish we want to book a table and wait for one waiter for a table and simply ignores us and answer in a rud way. Some training for this lads will be useful I cant say about food because we didn't try it we just walk away to other pizzeria and I'm glad that I did it.

At my last visit multiple guests including us were waiting one hour for pizzas, there was no specific reason given. Guests coming after us and sitting next to us were getting told that it will take one hour. But for us if we didn't ask, we just should wait. Food is ok as usual but service is on that day really poor. No one cares if you get your food timely or not

Me and my father ordered Lasagne and Pizza. Food taste was below average. we waited for more than 30 minutes for two meals. I would not recommend anybody to visit. There are plenty of better Italian restoraunts in Ulm/Neu-Ulm.

We went to that place due to a recommendation. Arriving there the place was almost EMPTY, all the tables outside that were empty were dirty, we chose the one that was less dirty and sat down. After about 20 minutes waiting when a waitress arrived, she informed that the table was for 4 people and that we should choose for two, I informed her that the tables were dirty and she took pains to clean one for us to sit down and she called our attention from another attendant in front of us. After another 20 minutes or so the menu arrived and we chose what we wanted. One more time for someone to arrive and take the order, it started to wind up and we asked for our table to be changed to one inside. Then the waiter asked for our certificate of vaccination and our PASSPORT. I informed him that this in Germany is not allowed and that a passport is for the police and that it made no sense for me to have a passport in a restaurant, and he said that it was LIKE THIS. He went inside to ask the manager (the restaurant is glass, so you can see inside) he went in got a tray, set another table and came back to our table and said he just needed a card, or another document that had our names. I quickly showed my health insurance card and my husband my driver's license in Brazil (even though this is against the law in Germany). Returning to the food that we expected to be good, due to the indication we received. We ordered a lasagna and a bolognese ragout. The lasagna was good, but the portion was very small. Not worth the cost benefit. The bolognese was cold and almost parmesan, I wouldn't say it was a good experience and because of that there are no photos. That's bad when the place was EMPTY, try to imagine when it's FULL.

We went to this restaurant on the very busy Schwörmontag yesterday (early evening). Despite the fact that it was so busy and we hadn't made a reservation we were served quickly and efficiently. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I can't fault the service, I think it was fine. More importantly, we really enjoyed the pizza! Their normal size is huge but you can share it among two people (you can order the two halves with two different flavours). It was very yummy! Strangely, the drinks arrived after the food (and the coke was a bit flat) but this can happen. I am giving 5 stars because I really enjoyed the pizza and ambience! I think reviewers are sometimes too hard on the service staff - I bet they are all run off their feet and super stressed, with the current shortage of people wanting to work in hospitality.
