Me and my boyfriend were traveling for a few weeks, and after reading about all the good reviews and how everyone was so happy with the food and also considering the good location and nice terrace, we decided to visit the restaurant. Big mistake. First the table was sticky. Then they brought us menus, without saying there was anything missing from the dishes we could chose. My boyfriend really felt like a pizza, and that's what he wanted to have. They came back to take our order, but for our unpleasant surprise, when we asked for a pizza, they said that they were out of dough. So we got pretty disappointed but still decided to order. So we ordered pasta - one Carbonara and one Bolognese. When we got the food we were even more unpleasantly surprised, and to be honest, truly disappointed. For 18 Euro for 2 pastas, the size was not even enough for a kid's portion. And the only reason we are leaving 2 stars is because the food at least tasted alright. But overall, we had a great trip around the south of Germany before we got to that place. I would never advice any of my friends to go there. Unless they like bad service and getting almost nothing for a lot of money.

The room was clean and overall alright. Had a balcony, but couldn't be used, because of the kitchen smells coming up. The people were very nice!

Spent 3 nights at this Hotel while on our hiking tour in the Black forest. The location is absolutely best. It is a stone throw away from the train station, bus station and the lake, with all the restaurants and shops around. Coming to service and amenities, Hotel Sonneneck earns a 10/10. We planned for a late check-in and the staff called us and informed all the access codes for a hassle-free check-in to our room. The food t the buffet breakfast was simple yet good. Also the staff were super helpful, they shared local tour guidelines and also provided the hochschwarzwald and konus cards. Overall strongly recommended for people making holiday plans in Titisee.

It is a little hotel in a quiet little town. Clean and large rooms also offering a modest but satisfying breakfast. The atmosphere is calm and mostly adjusted to comfort an elderly clientele.

It was a nice hotel location I tried through booking to book two nights but it didn’t work so I books separate nights with different names as we are a couple ! The hotel is Cosy , clean the location were so great , I got the first day a balcony but the second day not which was lit disappointed the staff helped me for changing the room they were so professional and they placed my items as it should b on the new room, the breakfast good but it could be better to add some vegeterian options as meat were much more as that, the old guy in the reception may b the boss talking too much Nd in a sensitive subjects and cultures which is better to avoid him!!! Plus I added two pic which I was finding them funny not on. Good way in general Titisee is a great place , try to benifit of the tourist card !
