Overall this place felt more like a hostel than hotel and didn’t match the price tag. Positives: 1- rooms are clean and shower is good 2- friendly service 3- included breakfast was a good option Not so positive: 1- the new building feels unfinished with unpainted concrete hallway and not inviting vibe. Walked passed broken tap water. 2- rooms continue to feel uninviting with cheap decoration, water pipe right above the bed, no tissue, concrete floor, … 3- no air conditioning and no refrigerator (yes it is our responsibility to check but still didn’t think we have to considering the price) 4- since no air conditioner, we had to keep blind up over night with the hope to get some breeze but the hotel keeps all their exterior lights on which fully lightens the balcony and hence doesn’t allow for good sleep.(hopefully they use solar considering they claim to be environmentally conscious) 5- pillows add to sleeping issue, we asked for other ones but in an hour they turn into broken pieces of cotton. Neck pain guaranteed. 6- the rooms don’t have any air flow which makes them hard to enjoy. The housekeeping use some air fresheners which makes it worst.

We came back after enjoying our stay last year very much We were welcomed very friendly at front desk. Same person as last year who remembered us. We also had a nice welcome back card in our room, what we appreciated very much. Everything was as perfect as the year before. Room spacious, clean, comfortable mattress and pillow, very friendly staff everywhere. Looking forward to next year!

Negative: website hard to navigate. You have to choose between 2 breakfast seatings the night before. Blackout curtains don't really block out light (picture taken around 8.30pm) so not good for kids who need to sleep early. Bed is quite high so not that good for co-sleeping. No cups in the room. Email and message on Facebook were not replied. Would have been good for the steambath to be opened at 10am. It was stuffy at night. If we opened the window, we would hear the train. They helped by providing a fan. Positive: modern,comes with the Hochschwarzwald Card. I like the steambath.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, but surprisingly quiet at night. Additionally, the beautiful Lake Titisee and the popular Badeparadies thermal baths are just a short walk away, making it a great base for exploring the area. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the spa facilities were top-notch. I especially appreciated the friendly and welcoming staff, who were always available to assist with any questions or requests. The hotel's restaurant was also a highlight of the stay - the food was absolutely delicious.

We really enjoyed our the three nights at coucou hotel. The room was spacious, the spa is well equipped. The hotel is located in the train station, but not noisy at all. Very friendly staff

We stopped here en route to Italy. The rooms were excellent so too was breakfast. There is electric charging just outside so we charged our car too. Thoroughly recommend. In fact we are thinking of coming back to black forest for a holiday in own right

Very Nice and clean rooms with a good bathroom. The Spa is excellent, especially after a day of skiing! Very Nice breakfast with a lot to choose from. The bus to feldberg (ski) stops right in front of the hotel. We’ll be back!

2nd time we've stayed and it was once again excellent. Clean, modern room, friendly, helpful staff and breakfast perfect. Great all round and good value for money.
