This rating is only for the restaurant. The hotel/restaurant is located a bit away from the Titisee. The drive there can be a bit adventurous but is doable. The reception was warm despite the fact that the service was very busy. The waitress pointed out to us when ordering that the trout fillets were out. But the menu is rich and offers enough alternatives. Thus, just about everyone should find something. The restaurant was well attended and therefore it took a while until our food arrived, but that did not bother us. The dishes were excellently prepared, the vegetables perfectly cooked, everything came hot to the table, what more could you ask for. The homemade black forest cake was one of the best I've had so far. The homemade ice cream was also very tasty. It was a very pleasant evening and we will certainly come again when we are in the area.

Restaurant: Good food and good portions. The salad buffet is top. Location is pretty in the woods. Restaurant is decorated very nicely. Staff is friendly but their English enough to order but not to give exact details if needed. Definitely go again !

This is a fabulous restaurant if you love authentic German food. It is full of locals which is always a good sign. The Rump steak is fabulous. You will need a car to get here as it is off the beaten track a bit but well worth it. The views outside are fantastic. Five stars!

If you stay in Titisee, it is well worth the 10 min drive to enjoy deliciously prepared German food for a reasonable price. We both ordered lovely three course meals. During our dinner we tried to book a table for the following day, but unfortunately they were fully booked. Book in advance!

Awesome lunch on a Sunday in the black forest. Had some traditional German food, served by very welcoming staff in a great atmosphere.

Great country food. Prices are very reasonable. English translated menus. Great service. Beautiful setting.
