we both had a salad here which was at least 2 days old and käsespätzle, made with heavy cream (a total no no), all served with last week's bread. this is just careless and not worth such a high rating - based on which we had chosen the restaurant initially. we we're looking forward to a good, 'down to earth' meal in the black forest and were unfortunately quite disappointed. nice atmosphere and very friendly service, but still - not a very good memory.

Nice, Clean and Big rooms. Great location with amazing nature view. We were 2 adults and 3 children, the suite we got was split to 2 big rooms, with fully equipped kitchen. Great and welcoming staff.

We stayed here just for one night, but it was very nice. Rustic and peaceful, close to Badeparadies (5.5 km) and to the Feldberg Ski Resort (20 km), it was just what we were looking for. The breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly and kind.

Great food and atmosphere. I liked that they have got different specials and the Schwarzwälderkirschtorte (Cherry Cake with some alcohol) is just amazing.

We were at the hotel for 7 nights. It was just perfect! A pastoral, beautiful, authentic, intimate location. Very spacious, beautiful and very clean rooms. Food in the morning was very fresh and tasty. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to most attractions in the Black Forest area. But the thing that surprised us the most, is a personal and warm attitude from the hotel owners. Every morning the owner of the place approached us, asked how we were, was interested in our plans for the day, recommended what to do and where to go. We felt part of a family. Good job! We had a perfect time. And you are perfect.
