We regretted wasting our money at this establishment this evening. We thought ramen was the right pick for a cold winter day. We were wrong. We order 2 bowl of ramen, one with ebi and the second one with Tori Karaage. The food took so long to arrive despite there were only 9 customers including us. Some of them were already eating when we placed our order. The Ebi and Karaage came first few minutes before the ramen were ready. The ebi was oke, just the typical frozen ebi you can buy from the supermarket. The worst is the kaarage. The person cooking might not know what kaarage is. The one served was like a fried frozen crumbed (very tick batter) chicken pieces and sliced up. Very disappointing. The ramen were equally bad. The soup is made of miso paste. Served with noodle with sliced raw cabbage, bit of corn kernels and hard boiled egg. Obviously, they did not know what or how ramen is supp3 to be cooked and served. We didn't finish our meals. Just paid the bill and left. Should have taken picture of the uneaten ramen. Not a Japanese Restaurant at all.

It's a tourist trap that puts items of a higher price category onto the plates that clearly indicate cheaper items in an obvious attempt to mislead customers. Stay away!

They just combined raw fish and rice together. It is not the Japanese sushi at all. They should use sushi rice and more sushi vinegar. The shrimp is mushy. I cannot taste any umami in their seafood. Wasabi is artificial. This restaurant doesn't deserve such price both in terms of food and service. NEVER GO THERE.

Was here for Mittagessen. Got myself maki set and ramen. 1. The lady who take care of me was super nice! 2. Ramen was flavourless (they also put fresh cabbage inside), so I didn’t really liked it. 3. Miso soup and sushi were delicious: miso was flavourful and maki were fresh. I enjoyed my experience here!

Very decent sushi. It's a freezing day today. We went to the island with a lot of monasteries and our hearts are freezing. There's the sunshine but it doesn't help with the cold. Then we walked into this restaurant and it's so warm inside. The menu is pretty. The food is delicious. It warms our hearts.

The sushi and sashimi were excellent and really good value for money. Lovingly and freshly prepared, with high quality ingredients. The staff were extremely friendly, too. I will be back!! (I am curious to try their soups to see if I agree with the more negative reviews these have received :)).

Atmosphere is ok, price is ok, service was good, friendly and welcoming staff. Food is so-so, i ordered yakitori, the actual food was different than the one in the picture, supposedly it was with wakami, but it arrived with lettuce salad, without informing me, the sweet potatoe tempera was not good, the breading is hard and thick and the potatoe inside was so thin. In fairness, the sushi rice and meat was good. Still worth a try.

Lovely little sushi place, more roomy inside than it seems from the outside. There are also two Tatami tables which seem very cozy. A bit disappointing was that the running sushi was not activated, and one could only order from the menu. The soy sauce was way too salty, not suitable for sushi. The wasabi had no flavor. Otherwise the Sushi was quite fine. Spicy tuna role was a highlight.

The worst ramen I've had in a very long time, however The karaage chicken is even worse than the ramen. Definitely they don't understand what karrage looks like, let alone making one.

I really wanted to give this more since the people there were nice and apologiesed… but they nearby had nothing that was on the menu.. we waited more then an hour for our food and overall the food just was not great. The soups were really flavourless and like other reviews said sadly the „Karaage“ there had nothing to do with Karaage.. I always appreciate a new twist to things like the Karaage salad but it tasted really bland, it also clashes with the traditional design of the restaurant.

Wow, I must say the BO DAI KO is underrated. I hesitated to go in right in front of the door due to the rating in Google Maps, however, luckily, I did enter, and ordered the miso soup and some sushi specialties, and ended up requesting another sushi plate, since it was fresh, delicious, quite different than what you would find elsewhere. I am grateful for a great meal! I would recommend anyone who likes sushi to give this place a try!

I had a casual dinner with my husband here. Place is designed very nicely with details and love, you can see it. Food was also delicious, maybe not the highest quality of fish but way better than average sushi places i have been in Germany. I would recommend it

The place is conveniently located near the train station in Konstanz. Just across C&A. The place is so charming. The food was Great!! The service was excellent. And I had the best Yuzu and Matcha icecream here. Definitely coming back to try more of their dishes.

Everything was okay, but you wouldn’t recommend to your friend or come back again. I got the miso ramen soup which literally tasted like the Japanese instant noodle soup you can easily get from the supermarket. I’ve made lots of them so I’m very familiar with that taste. There were soup, noodle, half egg, and sliced cabbage in it. I have been trying different Japanese Ramen across from East Asian to North American, this is the most interesting ramen I’ve had so far. Of course you will still enjoy the flavours of the dish, but please do not assume that this is what real Japanese ramen would taste like. And I’m sorry, but I don’t think Udon will be any different. I didn’t try the sushi. But according to other negative reviews, plus seeing them making the sushi and sushi rolls from a bowl full of “sashimi”, it doesn’t look really appetizing. 3 stars for the warm noodle soup to keep me from be starving, and a couple of kind servers. Thank you.

I think the miso ramen I had was the worst in my life. I’m thinking the Japanese food was/is catered to people living here. Although the food is not authentic or even tasty the service was friendly. Plus having no one there besides my family was a plus. The 3 star rating is for the Asahi beer and nice service.

Came here on a Friday night and it was very busy but managed to get a table without reservation. Sushi was lovely and fun to be next to the conveyor belt. Not as much choice on the belt but you can order off a platter. Good to see the staff making the sushi in front of you.

The restaurant feels really authentic and the atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. Service at lunch time was really fast and personal. The menu is diverse and everything was really fresh. Highly recommended and I know we‘ll come again.
