The owner is extremely rude. Abusing customers in Punjabi slangs. Too much racist behaviour. Though from India, treated us with contempt. Was about to assault physically. So left the restaurant without taking food. He is misrepresenting the Indian community in terms of Indian values.

Absolutely horrendous experience! As a seasoned food reviewer, I've visited countless restaurants in Germany, but this one claimed to be the best when it came to Indian cuisine and ambiance. What a joke! Let me break it down for you. I would give a measly 1.5 stars for their non-vegetarian dishes, and that's being generous. The vegetarian options barely scraped by with a pitiful 2.5 stars. Our group had a few vegetarians, so we had to consider their preferences, but even they were left disappointed. And let's not even get started on the service. The lady attending to us must have been the epitome of rudeness. She clearly has no clue how to welcome people or provide decent service. Her attitude was downright appalling. I wouldn't subject myself to such treatment ever again, solely because of her incompetence. The starters on the menu were an absolute joke. The variety was pitifully limited, leaving us with no choice but to order everything available. Unfortunately, none of them were remotely good. It was a waste of money and taste buds. To top it all off, we couldn't help but notice the underlying racism in the atmosphere. Our entire group of eight people felt it, and some even mentioned explicit instances of racism. It's truly despicable that such a place would foster such behavior. If that wasn't bad enough, the main course gravies were a disgrace. We actually found the gravy served with the appetizers to be better than what they provided with the main course. That's just sad. When I initially called to make a reservation, I spoke to a man who was so pleasant and spoke Hindi fluently. His friendly demeanor gave no indication that the staff would be so horrendously rude. It was a complete shock to experience such a stark contrast in attitude. Save yourself the trouble and frustration. Avoid this place like the plague if you're looking for a decent Indian food experience. The food, service, and overall atmosphere were a colossal disappointment. There are far better options out there that actually value their customers and know how to serve authentic Indian cuisine.

Worst place to ever go for indian food, i am a food reviewer. I have been to numerous restaurants in Germany and this had the top rating in terms of food and ambiance. I would give a 1.5 star for non veg food, 2.5 for veg food (since we had few veges in our group) and 3.5 for ambiance The service by the lady was really poor, she was so rude and doesn’t know to welcome people, i would not visit again just because of the service by this lady, Variety of starters were very little in the menu and we had no choice but to order all of them and none were good They are racists too, all of us (group of 8) felt that the same way.. few also said there is racism. Instead of ordering gravy, we felt like the gravy given also with main course itself is far better When i called to make reservation, there was a man who spoke so nice to me in hindi and by his speech it did not feel like staff will be so rude

A tasty restaurant in VILLINGEN. We decide to celebrate my boyfriend birthday here. Food was delicious and served ina very sophisticated Indian mood. I ordered chicken tandoori while my boyfriend palak paneer, a vegan plate with cheese and spinach. Mine included chicken and curry sauce. All food was washed down with Italian Chianti wine. In the end a mango flowered Spirit. Too strong for Me but I really appreciated the gift of the owner

During my recent visit to a quintessential small German town, I had the pleasure of dining at this family-owned Indian restaurant situated on a picturesque street. The combination of the warm ambiance, friendly service, and delicious menu options made it a memorable experience. If you're seeking an authentic taste of India in an unexpected location, this hidden gem is the place to go. The moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offered a delightful array of authentic Indian dishes, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Each dish was prepared with care, using fresh ingredients that elevated the dining experience.

Probably the funniest and most terrible Indian food we have ever had. We were given onion rings for an onion bhaji. But it was good fun.

We called to make a reservation and we spoke to a friendly staff. We arrived for our dinner with my family of 3 adults and 2 kids . We were warmly welcomed and our table was just as you enter at the door we love it because that part of the restaurant only fits few tables and so theres not soo many guest. We all 4 different meals so that we can share our meals and taste each other meals. Food came in , and we started eating , the meals tasted really good. We loved it .

The food and ambience were great. One of the few Indian restaurants I recommend to my non Indian friends. The two gentlemen waiting tables are extraordinarily friendly. The lady waitress could tone down her attitude a bit. Will totally recommend the pakoras ( loved the chicken and also paneer)

Good Staff, Nice ambience Food was not as per the expected Indian taste. I would recommend this place for vegetarian food and breads.

We had been with our 3 year old who loves the decor of this restaurant. We had a Gobi Pakoda, lassi, Biriyani and a paneer paratha. The taste of everything was really good! Parking is a bit of hassle but apart from that loved the ambience and the food

First off, the food is good - we enjoyed our lamb dishes and the rice was well prepared too. What diminished the experience was the lady who pointed us to a table and continued being curt to the point of rudeness. The serving staff were fine but the front of house lady soured our dining experience with her attitude. I would have rated the place higher except for this one person.

Good Indian restaurant but can become very good if they care of few quality measures such as 1. food quality: Rice grains are not all separated. Same tandoori chicken pieces are used in all chicken curries. You can very well make out the taste. It would be better if the chicken pieces are cooked with the respective curries. 2. Ambience quality: curtains quality is not good and looks shabby. We are indians and such restaurants in another country represent our country. Hence these quality measures are very important. Hope the owners take the review comments in positive way.

Really disappointed. I got food poisoning after having lunch. Chicken was undercooked and Biryani was way too salty.

I had a lamb curry for lunch. The Lamb was tender, curry sauce was also delicious. And the service was proper and nice.

I have visited this place for dinner, and given the current situation I went for lunch. I do understand that maybe the quantity is not as much as you have it for dinner, but not the quality!! The difference of the lunch menu is huge including the presentation, so I am quite disappointed ☹️
