The place is nice, however the food choice is limited and modest and the wine choice is very poor (I choose this place as I saw it in the Micheline guide, however is not up to the standard anymore and they should review it again). The only reason I don’t rate it 3 stars is because the staff was nice and service was good.

Even though the restaurant was about at 60% capacity I, as a solo traveller, was refused a table with the reason "we're too busy". There was at least 7-8 totally empty tables. I'm clearly not a pretentiously dressed German pensioner so I guess I have my disadvantages when begging for a table in an overpriced, ostentatious restaurant like this.

The hotel and the location are very nice, with a gret view and easy access to the lake through a private beach. The girl at the reception was super nice, friendly and professional. But beware of the restaurant. We had a reservation, as guests, for a table on the terrace, but when we arrived they said they are totally full and no table for us so we have to sit inside, in a hot wooden room whoch was totally empty. When we mentioned about our reservation they simply didnt care and say they dont reserve on the terrace, which the receptionist told us after thats not true. The staff in the restaurant simply didnt care. The guy who tried to convince us it was our fault was super rude and super unprofessional simply dismissing us and implying if we dont sit inside he worn do more for us. We simply left. Horrible service and really bad experience. Sad because the hotel and rooms are very nice but the service in the kitchen and restaurant are terrible.

Loved the location and the view. The rooms were clean and the staff was also friendly. The breakfast was good although with a small vegetarian options. Overall, definitely recommend this place if you want to chill by the lake

I have just stayed at this hotel last night. Me and my fiancé had a great time. We enjoyed a lovely 5 course meal. The sizes where small so you could easily enjoy the 5 courses. We where nice and full but the end. Our room was nice. It had a beautiful view of the lake. Breakfast was tasty, it was good that you had to order bacon, eggs, sausages. So you know it’s fresh. The only problem with our room is the shower was not hidden away. So if you where with a friend it could be a bit embarrassing. It was not a problem with me and my fiancé. I would recommend this hotel.

We had such a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and the amenities that came with the room were much more than I expected for the price. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend.

We only ate at their restaurant, and were we happy to have stopped here?!?! There is a wonderful view over Lake Titisee and a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious and service friendly. Parking available but limited. There is also a small place where children can play after having eaten. There is easy access down to the lake, after having eaten.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and the stay was wonderful. We had one full day with breakfast, paddle boarding, sauna, swimming in the lake and delicious dinner. The occasion was my birthday so the staff was super sweet and decorated the table. My friend is vegan and they were able to accommodate her needs during both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!

We only came here for dinner but had a delicious set menu on the Sunday - friendly service and would definitely recommend
